Comfortable stay in Timmendorfer Strand

The room was bright, spacious and had a large balcony with a partial view of the sea. It came with a modern facilities. The bed and sofa were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was a buffet with fresh butter, salmon, pancakes and many fruits and juices.

Very pleasant stay

The room was very clean and new. Although small, the bathroom was spacious and well organized. The sheets were fresh and clean. The overall smell of the hotel and the room was very pleasant. I also enjoyed the hotel facilities. The breakfast was ok and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

The internet connection was the worst I experienced so far. I would have liked and option to add less sugar or none into my hot chocolate. Also the price was a little high given the fact that the room wasn't booked during the summer season, the sea view shouldn't have been so expensive. Another thing I didn't like was the parking cost - 19 Euros a night is high and the parking space not so great (need to be careful when opening the trunk so you don't hit the ceiling).

Indoor and outdoor swimming pools are both very nice. Although the hotel itself looks unusual, it is very traditional and quite old.

Breakfast is sometimes very busy. It is good to follow the instructions from the hotel management and use less busy periods.

The property is located close to the beach (10 min walk) and the breakfast is really good.

- the rooms are not clean - daily room service is skipped and even if they come, they don’t really clean things up (or even provide new towels) - complaining about the issues doesn’t help - elevators are very small, partially out of order and hence hard to get
