Great food, cozy hotel for adults and dogs

The restaurant is excellent, the breakfast buffet in particular was exceptional and the three nights at the restaurant were also very good, but beware that the dinner portions are really big. Overall the property is very cozy, with nice landscaping and decor, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The spa is also very nice, but a bit crowded. Very dog-friendly.

The rooms are small. Even a deluxe room is small. This not a hotel where you should hang out in your room. As a tourist, I would have also appreciated some clearer info on the parking and tourist fees that are mandatory and added on to the price on Booking, so I could have factored those costs into deciding where to stay. And while there is a kids menu at the restaurant, the hotel overall seems more aimed to couples, especially older couples (for example, kids are only allowed in the pool from 10-2, and it seemed like families were seated in a remote area of the restaurant away from others, although this could have just been a recurring coincidence).

I love the time here

Everything is at the right place. Cozy room with just enough bathroom. Friendly staffs. Breakfast is very very good.

Highly recommended hotel stay

I like that the place is clean and it has good amenities. It is not so far from the train station. I also like the breakfast buffet. The staffs are friendly and accommodating, they are ready to help. The free shuttle service was also great. The rose they gave us upon check out.

-The wifi in our room was slow 🙁 but we didn’t tell it to the reception right away because we really dont mind. We just told them the morning after, when we checked out. -The free shuttle service wasn’t indicated in booking.com so we didn’t know that they can pick us up from the train station, and hadn’t we know about it, we could have told the hotel in advance. - There was one buffet staff that was a bit sarcastic to us when we asked her politely about something.

Superb location, excellent pool and spa. Great breakfast.

My room was over the kitchen and there was loud noise until 1 am, despite my ask to do the cleaning quieter. There were two guys who apparently just liked to be noisy and kick stuff around.

Even if I arrived late and the hotel seemed fully booked, I felt really welcomed. The staff is nice all the time and the place has a good atmosphere. My room was much better than expected and the breakfast was great. I didn’t have time to use the spa included in the price.

Exceptional

Everything was perfect. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, nicely decorated. Breakfast was a feast, staff welcoming and attentive, pool and saunas pampering. We spent the Christmas Eve at the hotel and were completely delighted by the Christmas gifts and large plate of sweet treats that were kindly brought to our room. Thank you, Fuchsbau for a fantastic stay!

The bed stopover with fantastic breakfast

we were traveling south-north and spontaneously booked this hotel for 1 night as a stopover, and were positively surprised by the level. after putting the kids to bed in a junior suite, my husband and I enjoyed the spa relaxing from a long drive. next morning This was probably the best hotel breakfast I ever had, and I travel a lot both for work and privately. Salmon, fresh tartar, homemade rilette, and best of all an entire rack of fresh honeycomb. in addition the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would surely stay here again.

A fantastic place to stay, but book ahead of time.

Exceptional service, nicely decorated individual rooms. The breakfast was fantastic. The only complaint, really, but the orange juice was highly pasteurised (standard in Germany for some strange reason).Germany

The restaurant was fully booked, so we had to sit outside, which was a bit chilly. The infra heaters were not operational yet. The resturant was very good, put a bit pricy.

Sauna was not working in the morning at 10am as it was promised before booking!!!

Hi everyone...I was in the hotel about 12 hours, and I did not like a couple of things. First and major downside was the luck of working sauna in the morning AS IT WAS PROMISSED to me per my phone conversation prior the booking - receptionist said that sauna will be open at 7am...yes, around 10am sauna was open, but out of the 4 steam rooms none were switched on, so they were dead cold...there were more visitors at the sauna and obviously you could tell that everyone was upset that sauna was not working, so I went to reception and I was told that sauna will be fully working aboard 12am and meantime, I can use instead swimming pool. By choosing the hotel, the sauna facility was decisive point and after conversation in the morning with the receptionist, I got impression that promised open sauna at 7am was a simple deception...it was open, but not working! The other not pleasant experience I had was, that check-in time on booking.com advertised by the Fuchsbau is 23:30 and I called them 22:50 to confirm that I'm coming, but I was told that the check in is till 22:00 and lady said that she does not know if anyone is in the hotel at the moment to let us in. She took my phone number and promised to call me back...never did, but by arrival hotel was full of staff and they were very helpful in every way. Unfortunately, thinking that I'm late, I was driving very fast in order to make it as soon as possible. It was bit risky to drive fast on unknown country roads. If I wasn't told that check-in is still on, I wouldn't drive that fast...
