Not value for money. No service whatsoever. (No staff/unfriendly manager).

I stayed with my wife and 6 months old baby. I find the hotel location is really good. I also like the Accessibility of supermarket, public transport and other daily needs facilities.

We stayed at the new building of the hotel which is across the road; means the rooms just has a subtle glimpse of Sea. Although, we paid extra money to get the room with the Sea view. Furthermore, there was no blinds exist on windows of room, usually around 10.00 pm is the sunset time. However, for a baby to sleep in a room it’s extremely uncomfortable. Even after requesting to the hotel staff we got the reply that the hotel is fully booked and only the thick curtains in the room is possible solution. The bathroom with small, old showerhead and showercurtain were just not appropriate for the price of the hotel. The matrace was super soft. In addition, we stayed for 9 days and the breakfast quality of food was not upto the price we paid. We enjoy the breakfast for the beginning 2 days but then it was hard to enjoy. The reasons are breads, cheese and coffee quality was really poor, and there was no variety. It’s a complete repetition of same foods the entire stay. We are vegetarians, there was nearly nothing for vegetarian options in the breakfast. The pool area in the basement is cozy but ufortunately even the hot tub/jacuzzi was too cold to go in with a small child, nevermind the big pool …. Almost as cold as the Baltic see !!! We experience the lack of staff in the hotel made it really hard for rest of the staff to maintain the quality. More or less we experience Hotel really need to work on making some proactive changes to make the property family friendly especially convenient for the families with young kids (for example there is no chairs for kids. All families with kids (and there were several) had them on their lab during eating. The hotel is good if you are staying as a (senior) couple.

Very unpleasant and not helpful staff at check in on arrival. Had to ask for help with my luggage to the room across the street to the room. Sunday they didn't replace the towels they had taken. Monday no sink and glasses have ben cleaned. Wifi/ internet was offered ,but unable to receive or make WhatsApp calls. Never ever had such an experience in all my travel in any hotels. I knew the Landhaus Carstensen from many years back and it was great. What a disappointment.

Lovely traditional hotel in a great location next to the beach and a short stroll to the town centre. Good breakfast. Comfortable room. Secure car parking

Having to order breakfast a day in advance. A 20cl draft beer cost 5 euros. Unfriendly reception staff - despite being hotel regulars and not being on a pre paid rate our request to leave a 7 day one day early was dismissed as though we were stupid for asking. This attitude was disappointing and means we wont stay here again in the future..

Super freundliches Team, das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Ganz besonderen Dank an die Küche für eine außergewöhnliche Abend. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Nicht gefallen hat uns, dass die Zeit viel zu schnell verfliegt und man bei so einem tollen Service die Zeit vergisst.

Wenn Gott will, kommen wir wieder

Wir waren bereits zum dritten Mal im Landhaus Carstens. Es ist für uns, das schnuggligste Hotel in toller Lage. Alle (fast) Mitarbeiter, Reinigungsfee , Resterauntpersonal, Geschäftsführung sehr zuvorkommend.

Der Ruheraum könnte etwas wärmer sein. Zusätzliche Decken auf den Liegen wären gut. Leider wurden wir beim Auschecken ziemlich enttäuscht, weil der Herr an der Rezeption ziemlich "unmotiviert" war. Habe eine Mail geschrieben und es wurde sich entschuldigt.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut! Die Lage top. Sehr gemütliche Einrichtung, nette urige Hausbar, klasse Wellnessbereich!

Das Bett und die Kissen hätten bequemer sein können. Nicht für Leute, die schlecht zu Fuß sind geeignet, da viele Treppen und kein Aufzug.

Hervorragend, wenn einem nicht wichtig ist, dass das Zimmer supermodern ist.

Zuerst einmal: die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals war wirklich hervorragend! Wir haben abends im Kaminzimmer gern noch einen "Absacker" getrunken, auch hier war das Personal stets bereit uns alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Der Wellnessbereich ist topp, die Sauna geräumig und sauber, der Pool groß und wirklich sehr hübsch eingerichtet. Das Frühstück sehr gut (kein Buffet, aber Etageren mit kleinen Häppchen als Specials), man hat sofort auch nachbekommen, wenn etwas fehlte. Die Lage ist auch hervorragend, direkter Blick auf den Strand und die Promenade. Die Zimmer sind nicht rustikal sondern eher altbacken aber völlig ok. Wir haben mehr rustikal erwartet, dafür war das ganze Landhaus sehr hübsch und rustikal.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Doppelbett erwartet, sind vom Ausland auch einzelne Doppelbetten gewohnt. Wir hatten jedoch zwei zusammengestellte Einzelbetten, die sich auch nicht "verriegeln" ließen. Somit rutschten die auseinander und wir mussten sie immer mal wieder zusammenschieben, weil man sonst zwischen die Betten rutscht. War aber auszuhalten. In Zukunft schauen wir also nach Queensize - Betten.

Alles wundervoll.

Alles war super und perfekt. Frühstück hervorragend, mit sehr leckerem Eiersalat und Lachs. Und wunderschöner Weihnachtsdekoration. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal.

Lediglich im Frühstücksraum könnten einige Tische entfernt werden und durch große Blumen ersetzt werden für mehr Gemütlichkeit. Und damit etwas Privatsphäre entsteht und man den anderen Gästen nicht direkt auf den Teller gucken kann oder sich wiederum selbst beobachtet fühlt.

Wollte in die Sauna, die war kalt, niemand sagte mir beim Empfang dass ich das hätte 20 Minuten vorher anmelden müssen. Hatte aufgrund meiner Körpergröße von 210 cm ein DZ mit einem Bett haben wollen bekommen hatte ich zwei einzelne Betten. Und morgens zum Frühstück bestellte ich Spiegelei von beiden Seiten gebraten, bekommen habe ich drei Mal entweder nur von einer Seite oder nur kurz angebraten.

Gutes Hotel für ein Wochenende.

Die Lage ist traumhaft und auch die Atmosphäre im Haus hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Der Wellness Bereich liegt im Keller ohne Fenster nach draußen. Nur wenige Liegen am Pool und das Wasser im Becken und im Whirlpool war uns zu kalt.

Carstens der Gediegenheit.

Lage ist zentral aber dennoch ruhig. Das Frühstück wurde in Etageren am Tisch serviert. Die Eierspeisen wurden frisch zubereitet. Am Vortag gab es eine Wunschliste für Frühstückswünsche. Zusätzlich gab es ein kleines Buffett mit Obs, Kuchen, Butter und Zusatzbrötchen. Sehr großer Innenpool. Restaurantbesuch immer wieder ein Highlight.

Am Innenpool wären einige Holzteile durch Feuchtigkeitsschäden zu reparieren.
