Perfect location for a relaxing holiday

Fantastic breakfast with plenty of choices for everyone. The location is brilliant, just a 3 minute walk either to the beach or the city centre and still in quiet and relaxing surroundings. Cosy rooms with a lovely maritime charm. We loved it and will be back!

Very good

We stayed at the Segelboot apartment that had a comfortable double bed plus a separate sitting area with a sofa and armchairs plus a little kitchenet. The room was very spacious and full of light It was great that we could use bikes for free to discover the area. The villa is 5min walking distance from the beach and you can hear sometimes the waves from your room. Shops and restaurants are in walking distance.

The bathroom would benefit from some freshening up.

The family like atmosphere and clean room. The breakfast was very good with fruits, cereals, different rolls and bread, Sausage and cheese plus eggs. Chilled beverages and beer for low price.

Klein und gemütlich, es wurde an alles gedacht selbst eine kuscheldecke auf der Couch also perfekt durch dacht :)

Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig, man wurde gefühlt extrem früh aus denn Bett geschmissen weil man jede Tür und jede Person gehört hat.

Besonders hat uns die Lage und die unkomplizierte Buchungsabwicklung gefallen. Das Zimmer war schön und es war alles vorhanden, was wir brauchten. Der Service und das Frühstück waren super.

Das Bett war uns persönlich etwas zu weich, aber wir konnten trotzdem gut schlafen.

Schönes Haus. Wohlfühlfaktor

Wir haben ein Zimmer upgrade erhalten, da im ersten Zimmer (Strandkorb) das Bett nur 150 breit war und direkt an der Wand stand was für uns beide etwas unbequem war. Ab der 2.Nacht bekamen wir das Nachbarzimmer (Feuerqualle) , welches zwar ohne Balkon/ Terrasse war, aber bei Schneetreiben und Minusgraden nicht von uns genutzt worden wäre. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Frühstück ist reichlich und für jeden etwas dabei. Der Kühlschrank mit Getränken und die Snackecke ist gut gefüllt. Die Villa ist etwas abseits in einer Nebenstraße aber dennoch zentral gelegen, zum Strand bzw. Strandpromenade etwa 5min Fußweg, bis ins Zentrum etwa 10min, zur Therme in Scharbeutz ebenfalls etwa 10 bis 15min. Parkplätze gibt es gratis direkt am Hotel.

Nach dem Zimmerwechsel gab es keine Beanstandungen. Das Haus ist sehr hellhörig da es eine alte Villa ist, was anderen Zimmergästen anscheinend nicht gemerkt haben, da in unserer ersten Nacht der Gast im Zimmer über uns, hörbar der Meinung war um 23.00 Uhr gefühlt 20 min im Zimmer schweren Schrittes durchs Zimmer spazieren musste und anscheinend noch Möbel rücken veranstaltete.

Erholsamer Ort zum Entspannen und Abschalten.

Die Villa Möwenstein liegt sehr zentral in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse, keine 5 Minuten vom Strand entfernt. Das Zimmer war sehr großzügig, mit einer kleinen Pantry-Küche, einem bequemen Sofa und einer Essecke ausgestattet. Das Frühstück liess keine Wünsche offen.

Die Betten waren recht weich, aber das ist rein Subjektiv.

Nettes Hotel, jedoch für uns nicht geeignet.

Die Lage des Hotels ist prima. Fußgängerzone, Promenade und Strand sind nicht weit weg. Das Frühstück war ganz gut, es gab Abwechslung.

Das Bad wird nicht täglich gereinigt und das Zimmer auch nicht gründlich gesaugt. Wir fanden noch Glassplitter im Teppich. Die Mülleimer werden alle zwei Tage geleert. Die Matratzen waren bei uns sehr durchgelegen. Parken darf man nicht überall am Haus, am dritten Tag sollten wir unseren Wagen umparken. Es kam bei uns vor, dass wir morgens zum Frühstück keinen freien Tisch hatte.

Alle waren jederzeit freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es gab immer nette Infos von der Betreiberin was in der Umgebung so los war. Schon der Eingangsbereich ist sehr schön gestaltet. Es gibt vor Ort Spiele, Bücher und diverses Sandspielzeug zum leihen. Dies war gerade mit zwei kleinen Kindern super. Es gibt kleine Snacks welche man zu normalen Preisen erwerben kann. Das Zimmer war hell und gemütlich. Der Schlafbereich etwas abgetrennt vom Wohnbereich - genau perfekt. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Beim Frühstück gab es, zum bereits an den Tisch gestellten Hochstuhl, noch einen höheren Stuhl damit die große Schwester auch entspannt sitzen konnten. Das Frühstücksbuffet hatte von allem etwas zu bieten und hatte auch immer ausreichend Obst & Gemüse. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können es nur empfehlen!

Kurzaufenthalt: Entspannt, ansprechend und herzlich

Super Lage, ruhige Gegend, ansprechendes EZ. Das Frühstück war mehr als prima. Alles da, was zu einem guten Frühstück gehört, besonders die Bäckerei Brötchen und Croissants und auch selbstgemachte Marmelade. Ich hatte ganz spontan gebucht und der Kontakt klappte nicht nur reibungslos, die Schlüsselübergabe war auch total entspannt 😎 geregelt. Vielen Dank noch einmal an die herzliche Gastgeberin. Ich empfehle die Villa gerne weiter und werde wiederkommen.

Wohlfühl-Wochenende

Das Haus ist sehr hübsch und sehr strandnah und in der Nähe des Kurparks. Sehr gute Lage. Reichhaltiges Frühstück. Alles recht geschmackvoll und gemütlich. Muschelzimmer ist klein aber fein. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt.

Nicht gefallen? Nix, wir würden dort wieder buchen, wenn etwas frei wäre. Wenn man also so will, wäre die begrenzte Verfügbarkeit ein Mangel. Das liegt aber eher an den anderen Urlaubern, denen die Villa Möwenstein ebenfalls gefällt.😉

Urlaub am Timmendorfer Strand mit Hunden

Die zentrale Lage, die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und kam uns etwas entgegen, da wir einen Tag früher abgereist sind.

Das Haus und die Einrichtung sind definitiv in die Jahre gekommen. Durchgelegene Matratzen etc. Die Reinigungskraft hat nicht wirklich ordentlich sauber gemacht. Wir hatten ein Appartement mit Balkon gebucht, aber nur ein Doppelzimmer ohne Balkon bekommen. Wohl ein Fehler einer Mitarbeiterin bei der Zuordnung. Nach kurzer Diskussion konnten wir nach 2 Tagen dann doch in das Appartement wechseln.
