Biggest disappointment

The location. Room was clean. We like this opportunity to write the review.

We did not like anything. We payed for our stay more than 700€ for 3 days. Parking was extra, beach entrance was extra, breakfast was extra. The room was very ordinary, small, with view on parking lot. For this money we would expect there would be at least coffee in the room - there was not even instant coffee/tea and kettle. However we could buy capsule for 2€ and make coffee ourselves downstairs in the lobby - for paying 700€ I think coffee could be included. Room did not have anything special, not even airconditioning, just window. The worst about our stay was the staff working there. As we came with car it was heavily raining, we had many luggages, so we wanted to unpack in their garage. They were very unwilling to even open the garage for us and they made excuse that outside we can't park because all places are reservated for disabled. As we unloaded our luggage, the man from the reception just stood there and smiled watching us carry bags and push our luggages on the trolley. He did not offer to carry even the smallest bag or to hold the door. This attitude made us quite sad and we told at the reception that we will leave our luggage on the trolley here and they should bring it to our room, since we payed so much money. (We did not ask for more than pushing the trolley to the elevator and to the room) We waited 30 minutes, luggage was not brought. No apology. The lady at the reception was very rude, told that they are just 2 people and they don't have time. (They were not doing anything and there were no customers). We complained, that we are disappointed and we just want to leave this hotel. She told then we will be charged 90% of the price. She refused to call the hotel manager. We stayed, we did not like it, we will never come back again and we don't recommend. We never experienced worse value for the money and so unappreciative hotel without any respect for the customers.

location was beautiful, spacious rooms with lovely amenities & balcony. Quiet and clean.

A good family vacation but a bit overpriced

It has a very good location in front of the beach, even side rooms have beach views from balcony. The indoors pool is well maintained and the rooms are nicely decorated with good quality finishes. The shower is modern and feels nice.

Few negative topics, one could that the part of the beach that is in front of the hotel has more “stones” compared to other parts of the beach. Another is that also has a very strange distribution of the restaurant, so doesn’t give the environment of a nice place for a brunch. (Maybe is now due covid space requirements). Finally the underground pool makes it a little bit to closed, would prefer to have it in the surface to have more day light, even when is rainy.

Parking area: neither the need nor the option to rent a parking lot was visible through the booking via booking.com. Parking spots without limited hours are 10 min. away. Thankfully the staff was able to organize a spot.

Pleasant hotel in Timmendorfer Strand

Good sized rooms, efficient and polite staff, attention to detail (potty for my 2-year old was in the bathroom upon arrival, something I had never experienced before in any other hotel), proximity to sea (it is right by the waterfront).

One minor complaint is the fact that the hotel does not have many parking spaces. Granted, they will hook you up with a parking space nearby (anywhere between 3-8 min. walking), but still this is a bit annoying when you are paying 200+ EUR per night.

Die Zimmertemperatur verharrte bei 20 Grad. Der Heizkörper schien zu klein für das große Zimmer zu sein. Foyer und Frühstücksraum waren wärmer.

Wir haben uns in dem Hotel sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Zimmer war außergewöhnlich groß und sehr bequem. Das Personal war sehr professionell und ausgesprochen zuvorkommend - ein Service an der Rezeption, wie man ihn selten erlebt. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt war, dass es dort aufgrund der vielen Gäste etwas an Privatsphäre gefehlt hat. Insgesamt aber ein wirklich tolles Hotel, absolut empfehlenswert.

Ich wurde sehr nett von den Mitarbeiterinnen an der Rezeption begrüßt. Auch im Vorwege betr. Parkplatzreservierung wurde ich kompetent informiert, da ich diese Fahrt das erste Mal alleine machen musste. Auch die anderen Mitarbeiterinnen waren sehr höflich, zuvorkommend und kompetent. Super Möglichkeit für einen kurz Trip

Die Lage ist perfekt. Die Zimmer riesig und es gibt eine Tiefgarage vor Ort, diese muss jedoch vorab reserviert werden.

Ich fand es tatsächlich im Nachgang betrachtet mit 250€ die Nacht zu teuer.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Weihnachtszeit in einem tollen Hotel

Die Mitarbeiter waren super freundlich, das Zimmer sehr großzügig, hell und sauber, der Frühstücksraum mit direktem Blick auf die Ostsee war phantastisch.

Es wäre schön gewesen, wenn ein Restaurant für Abendessen im Hotel offen wäre.

Lage und Design ist Top. Frühstück und Sauberkeit auch.

Das Personal war nicht besonders gut geschult und wenig hilfreich. Bei der Ankunft gab es kein „Herzliches Willkommen“ oder Ähnlich. Keine Infos zum WLAN, Frühstück, in welcher Etage das Zimmer ist. Also alles, was man beim CheckIn erwartet, wurde nicht umgesetzt. Beim zahlen wurde die Garage zweimal berechnet. Nach mehrmaligen Hinweisen, dass die Summe nicht stimmt, wurde unfreundlich gesagt, das es erstattet wird und ob jetzt alles OK ist. Keine Entschuldigung. Beim Check Out kam dann nur wieder die Frage, ob wir bezahlt haben m. Leider nicht, ob es uns gefallen hat, oder ähnliches. Es ist sehr Schade, dass das Personal so einen schlechten Eindruck hinterlassen hat. Hier besteht Schulungsbedarf. In dieser Preisklasse muss das besser klappen.

Kurztripp nach Niendorf

Wir waren zwei Nächte dort und hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Super Frühstück, sehr schöner Wellnessbereich, direkt an der Ostsee gelegen. In der Nähe gab es viele Restaurants. Und den Nachhaltigkeitsgedanken des Hotels finden wir gut und wichtig.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt!

Bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten die unten genannt sind , hat uns alles sehr gut gefallen. Das Frühstück war sehr reichlich und gut.

Es fehlten Steckdosen ( USB ) am Bett. So stylisch wie die Lampen über dem Nachtschrank sind , zum lesen sind sie ungeeignet, uns fehlten kleine Leseleuchten. Ein Regal im Bad wäre auch schön gewesen.

Ein sehr schöner, angenehmer Aufenthalt in guter Lage im Ortsteil Niendorf.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut mit ordentlich Auswahl für uns Vegetarier. Auch der Gratiskaffee in der Lobby war eine nette Geste. Das Zimmer (4. Stock mit seitlichem Meerblick) sehr geräumig und modern eingerichtet.

Das Rüherei zum Früstück war eher mäßig und es war schade, dass das Dampfbad in der Saunaanlage defekt war. Der Ruhebereich könnte besser gestaltet sein und leider gab es keinen Freiluftbereich.
