Beautiful location for a relaxing holiday by the sea

Lovely hotel in excellent location, modern decor and clean. Our room was lovely with balcony overlooking the beach so location could not have been better. Breakfast was plentiful. I think the only negative is the fact that there is no manned reception and one has to go to the neighbouring See Huus for check in etc and from a value for money point I think the price is quite high considering that parking for the car (essential as there is nowhere to park nearby) and breakfast is charged on top which made the week's stay very expensive compared to other overseas holidays and other 4 star hotels.

Nice view of the beachfront. Acceptable, pre-prepared, breakfast brought to you (COVID), had to ask for eggs, menu would have been helpful.

Hotel has seen better days. Definite need of an update. Old carpet. Gap under front door allowing corridor light into the room. Old shower cubicle, didn't feel clean. No info regarding hotel facilities, TV or WiFi.

Genau so hatten wir uns den Winter an der Ostsee vorgestellt in einem tollen Hotel mit Strandzugang.

Die Lage direkt am Strand, das Zimmer mit Meerblick und ein sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück, betreut durch ein aufmerksames, sehr nettes Servicepersonal haben uns komplett überzeugt.

Das Hotel kann ich nicht weiterempfehlen.

Das Hotel hat keine eigene Rezeption, im Außenbereich blättert die Farbe von den Balkonen und den Handläufen, Der Eingangsbereich ist abweisend, die Eingangstür und das Schlosssystem sind alt, die Ausstatttung ist teilweise erneuert worden, zum großen Teil aber sehr veraltet, z.B. die Bäder. Das Frühstückbuffet hatte keine Highlights, unterer Standard.

Ein wunderbarer ruhiger, besinnlicher Erholungsurlaub!

Ich hatte ein wunderschönes Zimmer, schöne Lichtverhältnisse, die Lage des Hotels: nah am Strand. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier richtig. Auch die Tatsache, dass sich dieses Hotel zwischen zwei Katholischen Kirchen befindet (St. Johann/Rehaklinik und St. Paulus/Kirche) passte in meinem Fall optimal. Und: In beiden Kirchen werden die vier Märtyrer von 1943 geehrt. Sie sind in der Nazizeit gegen Ungerechtigkeit aufgestanden! Einen solchen Mut müssen wir auch heute beweisen, da unsere Demokratie immer mehr ausgehöhlt und öffentlich mißbraucht wird. Es ist wieder Zeit für Recht und Freiheit aufzustehen!

Für mich war alles optimal. Es hätte mir noch besser gefallen, wenn das Hotel auch einmal am Tag eine warme Mahlzeit anbieten würde. Die dortigen Restaurants sind völlig überteuert. Wäre doch mal eine Überlegung wert. Nicht gefallen hat mir, dass ich noch an keinem Strand so viele Hunde mit Hundehaltern begegnet bin wie in Niendorf!

Ein schönes Wochenende

Wir waren viel früher vor Ort als geplant. Wegen der Nebensaison konnten wir bereits Vormittags unser Zimmer aufsuchen. Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Im Hotel gab es im Erdgeschoss eine kleine Teeküche, dafür keinen Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer. Ein kleiner Kühlschrank stand ebenfalls im Zimmer zu Verfügung. Das Bad hatte eine Badewanne, die auch als Dusche genutzt werden konnte. Das Frühstück war mehr als reichhaltig und alles liebevoll arrangiert. Das Personal war sehr höflich. Die Lage des Hotels war für uns genial. Aussicht war zum Land hin. Aber einmal um die Ecke und schon war man auf der Strandpromenade.

Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend, mit Blick auf das Meer. Einfach wunderschön. Dass Zimmer ist nett eingerichtet und es war sauber. Dass Frühstück war ausreichend.

Dass Badezimmer bedarf einer Renovierung. Die Türen der Dusche waren sehr instabil, so dass man Angst hatte, sie fallen heraus. Auf dem Heizkörper befand sich jede Menge Sand, vielleicht hat jemand seine nassen Schuhe darauf getrocknet.

Lage top, Ausstattung Flop

Die Lage ist großartig, wir hatten sogar vom Balkon aus Meerblick!

Dass das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen ist, findet sich hier ja mehrfach schon. Für uns waren die Matratzen viiiiel zu weich. Was aber wirklich störend war, waren 10 (!) tote Wespen auf dem Teppich und im Badezimmer. Schwierig, wenn man mit Hund reist oder hinein getreten wäre. Allgemein fanden wir das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis leider nicht ausgewogen.

Wer bereit ist, den hohen Preis zu bezahlen, bekommt eine ordentliche Portion Meer.

Die Lage ist wunderbar. In meinem Zimmer in der 4. Etage mit Meerblick wurde ich von sanften Meeresrauschen geweckt. Kein nächtlicher Lärm durch Strandpartys- einfach toll.

Gefehlt hat eigentlich nichts, bis auf vielleicht ein Wasserkocher im Zimmer.

Ich würde das Miramar aufgrund des fehlenden Kundenservices nicht weiterempfehlen

Die Lage war super. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und geräumig. Die Betten waren bequem. Das Frühstück war vielfältig und das Servicepersonal sehr nett.

Parkplatz: Sehr kleine und enge Parkplätze, die am Abreisetag ab 16 Uhr befahrbar sind und am Abreisetag bis 13 Uhr geräumt werden müssen. Trotzdessen jeweils mit dem vollen Tagespreis von 12€ berechnet werden, woraus sich schließen lässt dass am An- und Abreisetag der Parkplatz doppelt so teuer ist... Checkout: Mir wurden auf zweimalige Nachfrage zugesagt dass alle Rechnungen beglichen seien und ich den Check-out durch Einwerfen des Zimmerschlüssels in einen Briefkasten machen solle. Am Abreisetag wurde ich dann angerufen als ich bereits in dem Nachbarort war und ziemlich unfreundlich darum hingewiesen dass ich noch bezahlen müsste. Die Rechnung erstreckte sich sodann über 2 Seiten und war an Unübersichtlichkeit nicht zu übertreffen. Die Mitarbeiterin hielt mir diese ohne vorherige Prüfung hin. Am nächsten Tag fiel mir auf dass mir 78€ zu viel berechneten wurden. Seitens des Hotels erklärte man mir am Telefon dies könne schon mal vorkommen und ich würde die Summe zurückverwiesen bekommen. Eine Kulanz oder ein Entgegenkommen seitens des Hotels für den wirklich misabelen Check-out wurde auf direkte Nachfrage abgelehnt. Kundenservice sieht anders aus! Im nachhinein erfuhr ich zudem, dass die Berechnung des Frühstücks auch bei anderen Urlaubsbekanntschaften in diesem Hotel fehlerhaft war. Hotelzimmer: die Zimmer und der Flur sind sehr hellhörig und die Türen haben scheinbar kein Dichtungsgummi denn diese sich nicht Licht dicht zu verschließen.
