Amazing find and lovely host. Comfy beds and emasculay clean hotel

An experience, rather than any hotel

Thank you so much dear Nancy for being a wonderful host to my father and me during our unforgettable stay in Ypres. We enjoyed the beautiful stylish atmosphere of the house, great rooms, a wonderful breakfast, super tidy and clean. Having no doors on bathrooms is a matter of taste and controversially discussed among couples in Germany.

The property was only a short walk away from the Menin gate. The room was perfect, comfortable double bed and a large bathroom. The host Nancy let us park our motorcycles in her garage and there was space for cars on the road. Great breakfast, she also cooked us scrambled eggs.

There wasn’t anything not to dislike.

Simply a wonderful B&B. Highly recommended.

The breakfasts were continental of the highest order. The room was superb with a very comfortable bed. Nancy, the owner, was very warm and friendly, making us feel at home from the moment she opened the door to us. The location, just a ten-minute walk from the Market Square in Ypres, was perfect for our stay in the city.

There was nothing that could have made our stay any better.

A Perfect Accommodation

I liked everything about accommodations! Nancy is a gracious host who explained the facilities, where to park the car, and how to visit the city. The room is well appointed and extraordinarily clean, and the breakfast was delicious and varied in possible selections.

One of the best B&Bs we have stayed in.

Breakfast was an absolute standout, everything was incredibly fresh and plentiful. Hot coffee was a game changer and the pastries made by Nancy were ‘to die for’. She is a pseudo travel agent with every map known to man and plenty of ideas and information for your stay in and around Ieper. And she also collected us and dropped us from/to the train station. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Perfect break in Ypres

Staying in this B&B couldn’t have been better. It was peaceful, extremely clean, relaxed and very well located. The room was very large and the breakfast was excellent. Thank you for such a nice stay!

Nancy and Dirk were very gracious hosts and made our stay most enjoyable.

Nancy and Dirk were very friendly and made our stay most enjoyable. Location to the town was great with only a few blocks to walk. Room was well appointed and comfortable. Area was convenient to battle memorials with plenty of information available in the breakfast room or from our hosts.
