Our train was late so we nearly nissed check in, but the receptionist stayed on fir us. Very helpful

Nice location, rooms comfortable, although the views vary even when premium rooms are chosen.

The location in the centre of town was excellent. Staff were friendly enough until there was issues, not that the were unfriendly just that when I raised the issue on the WiFi, the answer was "Well it is almost 5pm so not much I can do..." The included breafast was very good.

The room Wifi was non existant, really annoying as we were relying on it and missed a realy important set of messages. I riased this witht he desk staff, but because it was close to 5pm they reckoned nothing could be done! The TV was wite intermittant, I had to switch on and off fequently to get channels working. The Parking was not great and even the 30 minutes side street parking was a tourist trap as 1 minute late and you are fined EUR25! There was parking furter away which worked and was a 7 minute walk.

A really good comfortable stay,good variety at breakfast and the hosts welcoming and helpful.

We liked the location.

We didn’t care too much for the lack of natural due to the position of the one window. However as we were out most of the time it didn’t affect our visit. The positive from that is that the window was opened all day allowing fresh air to circulate.

If you have milk in your brew there us none provided as standard in the room courtesy setup. I drink my brews black, as they should be, do no issues for me lol 😆

Host very knowledgeable about surrounding war memorials. And very good breakfast. 30 minute parking outside front door to unload luggage.

The breakfast room was very basic, but the breakfast had everything one could need. The breakfast was in tune with the rest of the hotel, basically a very basic tourist group hotel, coffee was horrible from the machine but i think that might have been a technical issue with the coffee machine.

Great hotel, avoid room 203 though.

Amazing location, very clean throughout, good size rooms, comfy beds, decent breakfast.

Every 30 minutes the bathroom light turned off and on again. It wasn't possible to turn it off manually and it clicked very loudly every time it turned off and on. It kept us awake for most of the night and I couldn't get anyone on the phone or at reception throughout the night. It ruined the last day of our holiday.

Fantastic hotel in an excellent position, with the most helpful and wonderful staff

Location and the lovely room, But most of all the staff. Pieters was exceptional in helping us have an extraordinary holiday. He helped us out when a local festival interfered with the bus timetable and assisted us get to the very moving Brothers in Arms war memorial near Ypres.. Absolutely wonderful help and we are so grateful for having met him. Thank you Pieters

The location is brilliant, 5 minute walk from the Menin Gate. The room was very clean and bed comfortable.

Fabulous location, clean and modern rooms

The Hotel New Regina is right on the Grand Place, opposite the restored town hall, symbol of Ypres. The rooms are very modern and functional with a small desk, modern ensuite and they have AC. The lady on reception was very helpful. Breakfast started at 7AM which was very useful, there was a good selection of cooked and cold options and the breakfast area was nicely spaced out. Wifi was good although spare plug points were limited in the room but there was a kettle which was very welcome! The location was fabulous, literally walk out the hotel door on to the main square. Menin Gate was a 5 minute walk and the town was beautifully clean and safe.

The only two negatives were the fact they still use disposable containers for toiletries instead of a refillable dispenser and the towels were probably the thinnest I have ever seen. Parking was available just outside for about a Euro an hour or there were free spaces 5-10 minutes walk away.
