Welcoming, convenient and comfortable

Our host Karen was there to welcome us when we arrived. She explained everything very clearly and showed us our room and the amenities therein. Karen said if we had any questions not to hesitate to contact her. The room was very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Very nicely decorated and comfortable and spotlessly clean. In the morning breakfast was served and was basically continental but the choice was incredible. I think you could have a cooked breakfast if you requested it. Karen was there looking after us and it was lovely to meet the other guests. The location is ideal for getting about the town and there was ample free parking right outside the door which was so convenient.

We couldn't find fault with anything.

We would highly recommend Juliette's for a comfortable stay in Ypres.

Our hosts Karen and Aldwin provide an excellent B&B experience. They are really knowledgeable about the local area, full of personal tips for sightseeing, and very personable and friendly. It's an ideal property for exploring the poignant history of Ypres throughout the First World War.

The property was ideal in every respect - no complaints whatsoever.

Highly recommend for a lovely base to explore Ypres

So much to like…. Extremely welcoming, kind and informative host. Very enthusiastic to share local knowledge and really accommodating about looking after luggage etc. Excellent location, a short walk to the main square and menin gate but a very quiet location to get a good night’s sleep in. The breakfast was super, an excellent varied offering and the facilities spotless.

Perfect accommodation for overnight stay in Ypres

Karen made us feel so welcome. We felt at home immediately. Our room was comfortable & nicely furnished. Great shower. Everything was very clean. The breakfast was excellent. Ideally situated for visiting the centre of Ypres which was only a few minutes walk. There was free parking right outside. Would stay again.

Sited within the City of Ypes, idea for access to the Menin Gate and WWI history. Very friendly owners who also had good knowledge of the city. Location had free unlimited parking opposite. Owners not on site all the time but only a phone call away and very helpful.

Short walk to centre, great communication from owner who text to ask if we wished to check in earlier , very friendly , great room with balcony overlooking the garden, lovely breakfast as well, there is street parking, but the owner very kindly allowed us to park motorcycle in their garage next door

Lovely host and came and met us so we could check in 2 hours earlier. Beautiful room with a lovely little balcony and a great shower. Kettle in the room with plenty of tea and coffee with added sweets and chocolates. Perfect location and a garage to put your bikes and scooters in. Breakfast was your usual European breakfast but a lot of it and laid out nicely in the breakfast room. Lots of tea and coffee and a very inviting atmosphere. The room and whole place was spotlessly clean and anything you could possibly want was to hand.

Beautiful little gem

Great location, short walk from centre, free parking. The B&B is lovely, we stayed in the 2bed suite which has a lounge so felt more comfortable, plus had access to a fridge & microwave. Really lovely decor, clean, you couldn't ask for more. The breakfast was yummy and lots of choices. Aldwin & Karen are amazing hosts.

This place is fantastic.

I spoke to a couple of people that ran it and they were both very helpful. We met the lady of the house and she is so very knowledgeable about the area and the history plus she is very welcoming. Breakfast provided was lovely and so much of it - also the coffee was delish too. We had the two bedroom suite and there was so much room and everything you could possibly hope for was provided. The beds are delightfully comfortable.

An excellent location for a trip to Ypers with just a 5 minute walk to the market square.

The location was excellent, just a 5 minute walk to the market square. Our room was very clean and spacious with everything you needed. The host Karen was exceptional and had time to talk to everyone and made all feel welcome. A 2 minute walk from the hotel is St Georges church which is a memorial to the fallen during WWI which unfortunately we didn't get to visit. Across the road opposite the hotel is a playing field which apparently was used for people to camp whilst Ypers was being rebuilt after the war. All in all an excellent hotel and we will definitely book again without hesitation.
