The staff were very friendly and helpful. THe location is very near to the centre of Ypres - only a 5 min walk to the town centre - but far enough from the centre to be very quiet and peaceful. The rooms and beds were extremely comfortable. There was a little fridge in each room and plenty of tea / coffee / chocolates. Breakfast was delicious - a wonderful spread. Wifi worked well. One of the rooms had a balcony which was very nice. Everything was great - I cannot fault it.
There is nothing not to like. The only thing I would suggest is that it would be helpful to state on which floor the rooms are located on the booking.com site. The 2-bed suite was on the top floor which was hard to reach for an elderly relative, so if we know on which floor the rooms are located, it would help with booking the right room for the right person.

Exceptionally helpful host with great local knowledge and happy to arrange an early breakfast for us (early channel crossing).
