A friendly hotel that offers reasonable value for money.

It was modern, clean and welcoming. Our room was a good size and well kept.

The stairs to the first floor were not the easiest to use, though a lift was available. Hot water sometimes took a very long time to arrive at our shower in Room 1. They did not supply evening meals and there were no restaurants in Elverdinge. It is not easy to find the narrow side-road it sits on.

A stunning hotel with excellent facilities on a lovely spot just outside Ypres

Parking for motorcycles is a little awkward but the helpful staff opened up the gate to allow four motorcycles in.

We were travelling with our elderly parents and we all enjoyed it.

Room quiet and comfortable, overlooking garden. Breakfast was laid out, coffee was good, and the bread was fresh. No other guests ate while we did so it was very quiet. Located close to Ypres and perfect for our requirements.

Beautiful hotel set in a tranquil garden, about 12 minutes drive from Ypres market square and the Menin Gate. Clean, comfortable with lovely owners and a delicious continental breakfast. The location is perfect if you are driving, close enough to the centre without the noise.

We loved everything about Hotel De Lissewal. One slight problem on the second night/morning of our stay, the lift wasn't working. Understandably, these things do happen. It did cause a slight problem for my elderly parents but Bless them they managed.

Heating didn't work. Asked for help with it. That didn't work. When I said it to manager/owner in the morning his answer was that we were doing it wrong. He said you can't get the help nowadays. He obviously knew we had a problem but did nothing about it. It was clean and bathroom was beautiful
