Nice but dated.

Nice sized family room. Swimming pool was nice.

Very dated, needs a full refurb of bedroom and dining room etc. stuck in 1980s. Bathroom very tired and basic.

The bike trip

The hotel was lovely a converted barn in the middle of farmland with some good eateries within 2 kilometers. Great heated pool outside, and free parking.

Because it was warm we left our windows open and we were eaten by mozzies, I now look like i have the pox.

Charming, quiet and hospitable place in the heart of the WWI battlefields

Place is very charming, decorations are lovely and the whole ambiance is quite authentic. Breakfast was really good, tasty and rich.

The place was clean in terms of bedding and general area, however, maybe due to a lack of use during COVID-19 pandemic, room had a lot of bugs in it, spiders, beetles etc.

In spite of the advertised restaurant it was closed when we got there, so we had to make other arrangements. You have to get back into the hotel via an unlit 1st floor fire escape around the back of the hotel using a 6 digit code after about 2000. This doesn't strike me as friendly or easy to use. In our case it was pouring with rain and we had to use our phones as torches. My wife didn't sleep well as she said the bed was the hardest she had ever slept on. Breakfast was standard cold continental, but at least you can exit via the front door in the morning.

niet kunnen slapen daar zelf andere accommodatie moeten vinden, boeken en betalen 550 extra

Ik ben erg slecht ter been afhankelijk van rollator en werd weggestopt in een kamer op de eerste verdieping met een zeer gammele trap omhoog. Deze kamer was voor mij niet bereikbaar en daarom maar besloten om een hotel in Ieper te nemen en daarna een huis te huren voor 2 nachten met een kamer op de begane grond. Kortom accommodatie totaal niet gebruikt en over gedeeltelijke restitutie viel niet te praten met eigenaresse. Conclusie slecht ter been , ga daar in ieder geval niet slapen.

De buitenverlichting deed het niet toen we ‘s avonds laat in het donker terugkwamen. Maar dat is dan ook het enige.

Jammer dat er geen vers fruitsap was, Geen expresso koffie., was heel bassis voorfe prijs.

Dorpel van 30 cm hoog en 35 cm breed om toegang te krijgen tot gebouw. Trap gevaarlijk met niveau verschil op iedere trede. Geen licht boven trap. Overal vocht geur. Nooduitgangen op slot. Geen muggenraam in oude gedeelte. Geen toegang tot terrein met auto voor 17.30u.. om 21u verplicht naar bed. Salon mag niet gebruikt worden. Kasseienpad heel gevaarlijk, oneffen!! Niet voor ouderen. !

Rustige locatie maar met de auto toch vlakbij Ieper. Fijn zwembad en vriendelijke gastvrouw.

De hygiëne kon wat beter. We konden pas laat inchecken vanaf 17u30 waardoor je weinig gebruik kan maken van het zwembad wanneer je maar 1 nacht blijft.

Prima adres voor een kort verblijf

Het ontbijt was heerlijk. Het onthaal door de eigenaar (v) was zeer vriendelijk.De accommodatie ligt enkele kilometers van het centrum, dus met de auto naar de stad, maar dat wisten we op voorhand. Veel aandacht voor de veiligheid.

De accommodatie is een goed gerenoveerde oude hoeve. Toch zijn er veel hoekjes en kantjes en vooral veel trappen en trapjes.
