This is a beautiful property with excellent hosts, and the room was very comfortable. The breakfasts were wonderful, different choices each morning with plenty to eat. Our motorcycle was very safe on the drive of the property. Its about a 25 min walk to the centre of Ypres, if you can cope with this, would highly recommend this B & B.

Continental breakfast was simple but more than adequate. Lovely fresh bread and rolls and fresh orange juice included

Fantastic location with friendly host. Easy access to explore nearby battlefields and history.

Breakfast was wonderful - all local products from farms nearby, along with freshly squeezed juice. Eric and his family are so welcoming and friendly. The bed was very comfortable and we had the whole place to ourselves as we were the only guests - this meant we had the whole upper loft portion of the house, lots of room to relax and unwind after a day of touring the area on bikes. The battlefields are easily accessibly by car or bike. You can walk to Ypres in about 25 mins from the house which is nice after a big Belgian dinner in the town!

We had a wonderful stay, with Eric and his wife, who were very accommodating and friendly, the bed was super comfy, and a fresh breakfast locally sourced was served every morning, we arrived by motorcycle which Eric kindly let us park it in his garage over night,

Host was excellent. Had a whole floor to use. Breakfast was best I've had in a homestay. Fresh bread, fruit, juice, meats and cheeses every day. Had all facilities you could need and more. Only about 20min walk from Ypres centre. Room was very comfortable.

Very quiet residential area but half hour walk into the main square and no local bars. Erik, the host, however did supply an excellent choice of beers and wines at knockdown prices.!!

Great B & B in Ypres.

Very clean and comfortable, excellent hosts, Eric and wife - very helpful. Located in quiet housing area, mainly detached bungalows. We had a nice bedroom with access to a roof terrace close by and our private bathroom opposite. About 20-25 minutes walk to centre of Ypres or short drive. Some parking is free (ask hosts for location). Apart from Menim Gate (don't miss the last post ceremony at the Gate 8pm every evening). The town is very attractive with lovely Flemish architecture. We thoroughly recommend B &B Fresco.

Exceptionally quiet, brilliant host, excellent breakfast. Erik made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived to the second we left. About a 20 minute walk into town, so don’t really need a car.

Quiet location, nice B&B - we were pleased with our stay.

We were looking for a quiet retreat away from city noise and Fresco met the requirement. The B&B is about a 30 minute walk from the centre of Ypres in a modern small housing area. Each morning breakfast was delivered to a (my term) guest dining area. What you have is a self contained apartment on the first floor of the house - it really was very comfortable. We were travelling with our dog and our hoast gave us some direction where we could walk him. Breakfast was largely locally sourced products and much more than we would eat for breakfast normally.

Very difficult to get a taxi in Ypres.

Its a nice location if all the rooms are booked for the same family/group of friends... Luckily we were the only ones staying, so could use the entire apartment... The stairs to the rooms are steep, so someone with a knee problem will find it difficult.

Warm welcome, very helpful host, Erik. Also spacious accommodation. Really exceptional breakfast, freshly prepared orange juice, plus local cheese and ham, no cost cutting as some places do. A real pleasure to stay.

Good host and location, quite neighborhood

Excellent location, private parking, good information from our host, where to park to go the center. All about the ceremony of the Last Row Call under the arch so we made it there that night. Laundry facilities are near by, less than kilometer. Breakfast was excellent.Had a good hair dryer, coffee and tea always available

This a personal issue I have with showers with no curtains or doors. I personally can not take a shower in them without getting water on the floor. He did supply us with many towels. Also a luggage rack to put you suitcase on

Een mooi herdenkingsweekend in Ieper.

We werden door Eric hartelijk ontvangen. De rondleiding en uitleg over de B&B was heel duidelijk en correct. De ligging was ook heel goed in een rustige buurt, niet ver van het centrum. Alles was netjes. Het keukentje, ontbijtplaats en zithoek was zeker in orde. Er lag veel informatie over Ieper en omgeving. Toch kregen we van Eric ook nog extra informatie. Hij kan heel trots over zijn stad vertellen. Een grapje kon er ook af. De slaapkamer en badkamer waren heel goed en netjes. Een goede nachtrust gehad. Het ontbijt was elke dag gevarieerd van beleg en brood. Zeker en vast genoeg om de dag te beginnen. Kortom, een aangenaam verblijf gehad.
