Excellent location in centre of town

Two large, comfortable bedrooms at the top of the house. Use of a separate, private bathroom with towels and toiletries provided. Shared use of a beautifully clean and well equipped kitchen. Space much larger than expected. Free parking is just a 5 min walk away. Centre of Ypres just 10 min away. Great communication and reception from the host. We would definitely use again!

Not a 'dislike' but a note that the steps inside the apartment are very steep and the bathroom/kitchen are on a different floor from the bedrooms..

It was a really nice place,clean rooms, Kitchen and bath. It's near free car parking or a two hours day time car park in front of place. Everything was near the place like restaurants,Market and central. It really felt like home.

The location was great. The kitchen area was convenient and the facilities were very clean.

I am not sure who the host was since when we asked if she was Inga, she just asked if we had a booking. The person who received us did not speak english well, she was curt and unclear about whether or not we were sharing a bathroom. During our stay, I wasn't sure if I was going to see another guest on my way to the bathroom or using the same bathroom. My booking was for a family suite, and I did not anticipate that the room would be separate from the bathroom - down two flights of steep stairs. Of note for cyclists, there is also not secure storage. We were told we could leave them in the front room/reception but as previous reviewers have mentioned, the front door was left open a couple of times when we there, and I did not feel confident our bikes would be safe. There was not a flat sheet on the bed, just a fitted sheet and duvet with cover - it was a very hot night in August and having the option of using a sheet rather than a duvet is essential and what I would expect in any accomodation.
