Very friendly host who gave me information about what to do and see. Location was very central but the room was at the back of the house and so very quiet and peaceful. It was a good sized room with lots of space for me and my luggage. There was information about Ypres and the surrounding area in my room.

Very clean, nice location - both close to centre and train station but quiet.
There was a dog locked inside one of the rooms who was clearly very distressed, howling and scratching intensely at the door for about 2-3 hours until their owners came back. I’m not sure if these were the persons managing the property or guests (they acted more like the former). In any case the person managing the property didn’t answer my multiple phone calls and messages about the issue, so I was stuck with this very upsetting noise for several hours.
The host also provided no instructions on accessing or checking in to the property until I messaged them directly on the day itself (it was a self check in, so a code for a lockbox etc was needed).
