In the heart of Ypres.

Fantastic location, friendly staff, good choice for breakfast, very clean throughout. Not the biggest rooms but still have everything you need so no complaints at all.

Brilliant location and a clean functional hotel.

Great location for the town and restaurants, room was clean and functional with a good shower and great view of the main square. Really nice breakfast with plenty of choice including a couple of cooked options.

Slight issue on checking in as no staff available to book us in. No private parking but a large public car park nearby which unfortunately you can’t park in on a Friday night as they set up a Saturday market from around 4am on the Saturday and your car will be towed if you park there. My room was at the front with a great view of the square but again unfortunately they start setting up the market at 4am which makes a lot of noise and keeps you awake.

Amazing location, Great Views around the square amazing services and amazing Hosts

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel O! From the moment we arrived, Ingeborg and Sandrino were the most fantastic hosts , warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. They truly went above and beyond to make our stay special. Our room had the most amazing view, and everything was spotless , the cleanliness was exceptional. The accommodation and access were super convenient, and every night’s sleep was peaceful and comfortable. Breakfast was brilliant , fresh, delicious, and the perfect way to start each day. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Hotel O is a gem, and we’d recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone visiting Ieper (Ypres). A huge thank you again to Ingeborg and Sandrino for making us feel so welcome , you made our trip truly memorable!

The main two people, owners maybe, were very helpful and polite including letting us have breakfast early on our last day due to us needing to get to the Eurotunnel early. Lovely people.

Great hotel for a visit to Ypres

The hotel is a stones throw from the main square and Menin Gate and very easy to get to by car - we found free parking a couple of streets away. The property was spacious and clean and the breakfast was nice. A great budget option, that more than met our needs for a short-stay in Ypres. Ypres is particularly pretty, with lots of beautiful buildings and friendly people.

Great stay in Ypres...

The hotel is in a great place, just off the High Street. We've stayed here about 4 times now and it is always our first choice. The staff are very friendly, the rooms although not large are spotlessly clean and comfortable. The best scrambled eggs I've tasted in ages!

We always bring our dog with us and I personally think that €10 is a little bit pricey. Another couple of coffee sachets would be good too.

Just off the main market square, easy to find and able to park for free in the main market square parking area from 6 pm till 9 am. Friendly staff which served a lovely breakfast and the room was clean and comfortable.

The location was excellent; just off the market square, and a 5 minute stroll to the Menin gate. Room was large and had a very comfortable double bed. Decent range of choices in the breakfast area, and the receptionist was very helpful.

It is a budget hotel in a great location. You are paying for the location.

It was quite warm on the day that I stayed, the room was quite stuffy and the windows were fixed Velux windows so the only ventilation was the ventilation strip at the top of the window.

Room was clean, comfortable and excellent value for the money. The view was beautiful overlooking the Cloth Hall and the windows made the room almost completely soundproof. The location could not have been better. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant.There was a choice of hot, cold breakfast or both & self service was not limited. Coffee was excellent & the breakfast room was suitable for large groups..

Value for money is excellent. Room was clean and tidy, bathroom needed a bit of a freshen up but nothing major. Breakfast was good, pastry, cereal, cheese, egg, bacon, fruit. Best thing is the location, only 30 seconds from Cloth Hall, near to bars, restaurants and a few minutes to the Menin gate. Not a hotel for relaxing as there isn't a lounge or bar but its not a problem with the location being so good.

I have visited this property many times over the last 10 years. I love the friendly staff and excellent location, also very good value for money and varied choices for breakfast.

I was a little disappointed that the rooms were not to their usual standard. We had a cracked mirror and window in our room and the shower curtain had some mildew on it. The decor was also a little tired.

We have stayed here before so knew what to expext, very friendly reception on arrival. We asked for a quieter room and were given a room on a side street. Breakfast was hot and cold and plentiful.

Great location but very hot room with no air con

Great location near the market square and Menin Gate with plenty of options for food/drink nearby. Breakfast was very good with a good selection, including limited hot options. Very good WiFi and full range of TV channels.

Room was very, very hot with no air con or fan provided which meant we had very little sleep. Appreciate that we were in the middle of a heatwave but they did manage to keep the corridors cooler. Pillows were very lumpy and uncomfortable. Bathroom wasn’t very clean with mould around the bath seal and on walls by the shower head, also hair on the wall. Limited check in times and when we arrived just after it should have started as we wanted to drop our bags in the room before heading out, there was nobody around and no response to ringing the bell so we had take our bags with us.

Stayed in this hotel many times over the years. It’s starting to look dated now and needs a make over. It was also uncomfortable in the rooms with the heat so got a fan from reception which helped. It’s hood value for money though

A great budget hotel in the heart of Ypres

Great location just off the market square and close to many bars and restaurants. Not luxurious by any means but cheap and clean, with breakfast that even had bacon and eggs, as well as a good selection of continental type breakfast items.
