Perfect family stay

The room wasn't crowded despite there being 5 of us. We received a warm welcome and there were many niceties including a range of teas and coffee as well as in the bathroom. The beds were clean and comfortable. In the morning the breakfast selection was fantastic with plenty of choice for everyone and Magda cooked lovely fresh eggs and bacon.

Good value for money with an excellent breakfast.

The building was impressive as was the garden. There was an excellent selection of fruit, meats, bread and eggs for breakfast.

We were in a twin room. That isn’t usually a problem for us as the two separate beds are well secured to each other. This wasn’t the case here. I woke a few times during the night to put the mattresses back on base of the beds.

Lovely, friendly B&B, just be aware if you are not good with heights.

The host was delightful and the room was adequate for the five of us with good kitchen facilities and a nice sized shower room. The B&B was very easy to find on arrival and was just a short walk away from the centre. The bacon and eggs at breakfast were delicious!

The only access to our room was by a concrete spiral staircase which was outside. For my daughter who is scared of heights this was a real issue. Even for the rest of the family coming down them, especially when carrying anything, did not feel comfortable. We were fortunate that it was dry during our stay as I definitely would not have wanted to negotiate them in the rain (and only being able to carry one bag at a time would have meant extended use of them!)

Nice B&b for Ypres exploration

Lovely breakfast and garden; room attached to terrace where we could sit outside and enjoy cool air and golden hour view. Attentive hostess. Free parking suggestion provided. Short walk to city attractions . Nice base for exploring Flanders area.

Road Trip 2025

The property and the garden are beautiful our room was very comfortable and very clean. The location is fantastic for all the history of Ypres walking distance to the Groatmarket and the Menim Gate. The owner is lovely and has created a lovely atmosphere and at a small additional charge you can park your motorbike securely in her garage. I will use this property again.

Perfect location for Menin Gate and town. Secure parking for motorbikes at an additional charge. Amazing breakfast and tea, coffee and sweets in the room with a very comfy bed! Thank you Magda, lovely stay on the start of our 3 month tour, see you on the way home!

Well located near the city walls of the historic city of Ieper or Ypres. Set in a beautifully landscaped garden, there’s a safe space to store bikes and parking on the street for cars. You can take advantage of the sunny rooftop terrace. The Rooms are nicely decorated and very clean and comfortable.
