Great place to stay on a solo trip or with friends.

Lovely hotel, had a family feel to the place. Thibgs were done right and eveeyone was verg polite and helpful.

A clean and comfortable stay, close to the centre of Ieper.

Size of the room and bathroom were more than adequate us. Storage was good (although no drawers). Staff were super friendly and helpful (Vincent’s, Iwona and Pebbles). Breakfasts were superb. Very clean and comfortable place overall.

It would have been good to have a comfier seating arrangement in the room. Standard seats and not really anywhere to sit and relax in the room.

Lovely small hotel, good value

The hotel was spotlessly clean. It felt like being in someone's house really (though with 20 or so bedrooms!) The staff were friendly. My room was small but perfectly formed and very comfortable. The location was great, just a street off from the main square (but much quieter than being om the main square proper). Inclusive breakfast was good. Excellent price to value ratio, I would stay again.

The room was very small, which was fine for me as a solo traveller (but the twin room I was allocated would perhaps be a bit cosy for some people). Apart from that, I have virtually no complaints. I nearly fell out of bed in the night, but perhaps just unused to a single bed!

Cozy small hotel with warm staff and extremely welcoming and allowed an early check-in. Breakfast had a good variety and they would cook eggs to order. Attic room was so charming and bright. Fantastic location walking distant to all attractions within 5 min.

This is such a pleasant and comfortable hotel; and the owners and staff were delightful. It is conveniently situated within a couple of minutes of the Cloth Hall/Menin Gate etc. A superb base for visiting Ypres/Ieper and surrounding area.

Family run hotel like a traditional B&B. Provided lots of options for things to do and see. Great beds and great location. Easy to get around and walking to restaurants and cafes and museums.

Excellent location with friendly staff. Close to the town centre. The hotel was clean and tidy.

We arrived on motorbikes and were able to park outside the front door. The town centre was a 3 minute walk. The morning breakfast was excellent! The foyer has a drink machine filled with a range of beverages.

There is no lift and there are 3 floors. It is quite a climb to the top floor with motorbike clothing and gear.

Very cozy, nicely located hotel in the heart of Ypres!

Perfect location; easy, short walk to all the visitor sites in the town. Clean, comfortable, quiet building. Well-maintained. Very nice staff who really want their guests to enjoy themselves. Breakfast was excellent; best coffee I’ve had in two weeks! I would definitely stay there again.

Really lovely hotel in a great location with a real personal feel to the service. We'll be back!

Pretty much everything was brilliant. Friendly and helpful staff/owners, cleanliness, breakfast, location location location, room was super quiet and very dark at night. Character of the building. 'Boutique' nature of the hotel. Lovely coffee and hot chocolate for kids. Shoe shiner! Where do you see one of those these days? Easy short walk to restaurants, the Cloth Hall, Menin Gate. Super convenient, and yet super quiet.

There was a mosquito in the room, so I advise closing the windows at night, but then I was a little too hot. There was an air conditioner, but we didn't use it for fear of being too cold. Can't please everyone... Parking was on the street as expected, although free after 6pm and on Sundays. We parked around the corner where it's 2 Euros for the whole day.

A family run hotel in a great location

My 3rd visit to this Hotel, Located a couple of minutes from the main square with plenty of nearby restaurants and bars. Walk a couple of minutes further and you are at the Menin Gate, a perfect spot to start your exploration of the area. The hotel is family run, with a range of room types. We travelled by Bike and there was secure parking available for us. Breakfast was great, freshly cooked options available to order along with continental options. Overall a great place to stay in Ypres.

Excellent hotel, location and city.

Location was perfect and the room suited my needs perfectly. Host and breakfast were excellent, and the free parking just outside the hotel was an added bonus. Ypres is a fabulous place, lively in the evening's, but with a 'safe' feeling. I would happily come back for a second visit both for the city and the Ambrosia Hotel. Excellent all round.

Kettle and coffee/tea sachets might be welcome when it gets cooler!
