Dirty, unsafe, nothing like the photos, not worth the price. Avoid this place.

The worst stay we’ve had. The hygiene was absolutely unacceptable, the lodge was extremely dirty and clearly neglected. Nothing was properly cleaned, and the overall condition was shocking. The property looked nothing like the photos advertised on Booking, which is extremely misleading. The host was unprofessional and made us feel uncomfortable.We had to leave earlier than planned because the conditions were unbearable. This experience was so bad that it caused us significant distress and has left a lasting negative impact. This place is absolutely not worth the price charged. We strongly do not recommend staying here.

Incredible bungalow. The location is beautiful and completely immersed in nature. Simple but with everything you need. There is a possibility to have dinner at the lodge. Breakfast is fresh and plenty. Hosts were amazing.

Just be aware of the accessibility, especially with luggage. It's a 15-20 min walk/climb from the port and main town of Ilha Grande. There is no restaurant/bar/etc in the direct surroundings so going out always involves the short hike from and to the lodge.

Fekt one with nature and very peaceful staying in the Jungle Lodge.

Located in the rainforest and very much part of nature - and still only 20-30 minutes away from the main village. Great to wake up to the dawn chorus and see so many birds, butterflies and other animals. Carole very friendly and welcoming. Lovely breakfast in the morning.

Best to pack light as trek can be challenging as quite steep in places- but for what you gain in staying here it is worth it.

Fantastic place and views! Very comfortable stay. Note that it is quite a long and challenging way up to the lodge (but very easy to find) so make sure to bring your backpack and no heavy suitcases ;)

beautiful experience

Beautiful experience in the jungle. The accommodation is comfortable and charming. It was lovely waking up by the sound of birds and the wind blowing through the trees. We stayed for two night before heading to the other side of the island. We underestimated how rural the island is and Carole was very helpful in making sure we got to the other side of the island. I will def recommend this place!

Unique place in the heart of the jungle Having the place for ourselves Quiet dinners and breakfast Carole is an amazing host The view is breathtaking The outdoor shower is magical (just a pity there is no privacy to enjoy it without swimsuit) Everyone was super nice with us (dogs, squirrels, birds, toucans, frogs, mosquitoes etc.)

On our first night a big party has been going on all night long (until 5am) with very loud music (probably the sound is going up as well so amplification effect) so we couldn't enjoy the quietness of the place but fortunately the next day they were tired and didn't party :)

Oasis in the forest.

The staff are the best. Really lovely, warm people that have unbeatable knowledge about the island. They took care of us really well and we felt like we were part of the family. The location is awesome, fantastic views and so much better then staying in town. Breakfast is also 5*! We miss the dogs too.

Zažili jsme jedny z nejkrásnějších dní v našem životě!!! Nemohu povědět nic, než jednoznačně doporučit!!! Objevili jsme neskutečně milé přátelské a vděčné lidi, se srdcem na dlani, rozdali by se z posledního..! Spát v džungli, kde Vás obklopuje nádherná příroda? Kde máte naprostou podporu, zázemí a ochranu od skvělého pana majitele? (Nového pana majitele..) Opravdu nemám slov, přístup, který tento pán, původem z Francie razí, Vám doslova vyrazí dech! Ano, uvědomuji si, že tento pobyt nebude vhodný pro každého, ale pokud máte v sobě špetku dobrodruha, budete naprosto šťastni a posune Vás to v životě a v lidských hodnotách zas o parník dál, blíže k lepšímu člověku.. A ta touha zlepšit sama sebe, to by mělo být základní přání nás všech, to bych ostatně přál Vám všem, kdo se rozhodnete strávit pár dní svého života v čisté, nezkažené přírodě.. Děkuji Sergi, děkuji Wiliame, jsme Vám vděčni za společně strávené chvíle, ve Vaší náruči..♥️

Lo mejor el personal, son fantásticos y tienen unos perros preciosos. La cabaña es muy especial, lo hemos sentido como un espacio único e irrepetible

Quizá la única pega es que con la lluvia entraba por distintas partes del techo y se mojaban las cosas de dentro.

Adventure with jungle

L’arrivée au jungle lodge est une petite aventure, environ 30’ depuis le port, le bungalow est vraiment situé au milieu de la jungle avec un balcon et une vue incroyable, le personnel est disponible pour vous et très aimable. Je vous conseil de faire l’excursion avec William vous verrez cest magique. Tout est à votre disposition pour une petite aventure dans la jungle.

Insolite mais attention à la marche pour y accéder!

Le jungle lodge est situé en pleine forêt, dans un cadre assez insolite. Nous avons séjourné au premier étage de la grande maison et l’hote etait super sympa, sociable et répondait à toutes nos demandes.

Lisez bien le long message que l’hôte vous envoie car l’accès aux valises (meme petites) est impossible car vous devez réalisé 30min de marche depuis le centre de Villa Abraao : ce chemin est composé de plage et de sentier. Nous avons aussi trouvé que les prix du diner proposés par le jungle lodge était assez élevés. (Peut être parce que les prix sont plus élevés sur l’île.
