Quiet paradise away from the busy centre.

Beautiful pousada with a nice pool and lush gardens. Very peaceful. the staff are really great and helped us book a boat trip and plan how to get to Lopes Mendes. We enjoyed breakfast and afternoon cake/coffee. It is quiet and a 10 minute walk from the main streets. This suited us.

Decent posada but you can find similar for cheaper

Decent posada in a quiet part of the town. The greenery and the pool on the property was nice and the breakfast was very simple, but sufficient.

It’s a bit overpriced for what you get - which is the same as most posadas on the island. The pool is nice if you actually use it, although there is on morning sun. Wifi was unusable in our room (#4) and you get luke warm water at best.

Tropical oasis in serene setting. Great value and worth every centavo

Close to the town center but hidden in natural surroundings. Quaint but satisfied all our needs.

Everything was great. The main room of our apt had an air conditioner which was a little loud at night but we shut the door and turned on the bedroom air so wasn’t a major concern.

1. Good breakfast. 2. Great pool with great jungle views. 3. Internet works well in common areas (does not work in rooms). 4. The staff speaks English. On our dates the manager was very friendly and helped us pay for the transfer with her personal card as our cards weren't working. 5. The location of the hotel in the distance, in the jungle, in a quiet and beautiful place. 6. There is air conditioning, however noisy.

1. The rooms are in need of renovation. 2. Internet could be provided in the rooms. 3. It would be great if the hotel had a restaurant for dinner/lunch.

the place was really beautiful, it was away from the main streets where there is many people yet near to it. Really nice staff and the breakfast was good!

quiet jungle retreat

absolutely loved the place. the staff is friendly and attentive, the landscaping is beautiful, it’s a quiet side street tucked away in the jungle yet only a 5 minute walk from restaurants and pier. breakfast is amazing. nice chill spots by the pool or hammock to unwind after a day of exploring

Fantastic for families

The staff were incredibly welcoming and always ready to help. They were amazing. Breakfast and afternoon snacks... wonderful. Rooms were simple but comfortable. Garden beautiful and pool wonderful. This place really did exceed my expectations. Highly recommended for families.

I liked everything... just a couple of suggestions. 1. Would be good to have more hanging space to dry wet clothes in sun. 2. Single beds could be 88cm width... bit small for an adult.

Gorgeous place to stay on Ilha Grande

Gorgeous place to stay! The pousada and it's grounds are beautiful, I couldn't stop taking pictures of all the plants. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our stay. Lovely fresh breakfast each morning.

Superb

The staff were excellent, super helpful and friendly! The breakfast was superb and they have a courtesy tea/coffee in the evening, with toasts, biscuits and cake. The swimming pool area was always clean and welcoming after a day on day on the beach. It definitely make more pleasant!

The property is not as near the pier as we thought. The 15 min walk was only an issue when we had the bags.

Mala experiencia en esta Posada

Solo el desayuno

Durante los 3 días y 2 noches de alojamiento, enfrentamos múltiples problemas: • El aire acondicionado funcionaba de manera intermitente, no enfriaba adecuadamente y además emitía un ruido excesivo que dificultaba el descanso. • No se realizó ningún tipo de aseo durante toda la estadía. • Las sábanas y toallas de baño estaban en muy mal estado, viejas y de baja calidad. • El baño presentaba fallas, ya que la cadena no funcionaba correctamente. • El servicio fue deficiente, no repusieron elementos básicos de confort cuando se agotaron. • La mala disposición del personal de recepción por ayudar y dar solución a los problemas. • Adicionalmente, al llegar al alojamiento nos exigieron pagar 230 reales extra por persona, cobrándonos esto al hacer el check out, situación que no quedó clara ni informada al momento de realizar la reserva, lo cual consideramos poco transparente e injusto. Toda esta suma de inconvenientes hizo que perdiéramos completamente el confort esperado durante nuestra estadía, afectando negativamente nuestro viaje. Por lo anterior, solicito respetuosamente que Booking.com revise este caso y considere una compensación o reembolso parcial, acorde a la mala experiencia vivida y a los servicios que no fueron entregados.

Um fim de semana bacana

Uma pousada com muito amor nos detalhes ..isso faz toda a diferença . A regra rigida sobre o fumo è muito legal .

Fiz uma solicitação simples : não quero arrumação, apenas só trocar olixo do banheiro / abastecer os dispensers de shampoo e condicionador do box e deixar 1 lençol de solteiro pois na cama si havia um. Ao voltar , horas depois = Toalhas no quarto ok ( não havia pedido nada ) E tudo que tinha solicitado, não estava . Acho importante falar porque são pequenos detalhes que fazem toda a diferença . Mas apesar disso, amei o local e tudo ué eles oferecem..cafe da manhã delicioso / piscina e jardins lindos . Voltaria com certeza..

Foi ótimo para relaxar e aproveitar o paraíso que é a Ilha Grande.

Café da manhã simples, completo e delicioso com tudo fresquinho. Ambiente agradabilíssimo! Muito verde e muito canto dos pássaros. A pousada fica a 4 minutos a pé do porto das balsas.

Ficamos no quarto 3 e o banheiro, além de ser muito apertado e desconfortável (uma pessoa pequena sentada no vaso fica com o joelho encostado na parede), ainda estava com um vazamento, deixando o chão sempre molhado e com mau cheiro. Outra coisa que achei ruim foi o check out ser as 10h30 e não ter um guarda volume para os hospedes guardarem suas malas.

Nose por donde partir todo es hermoso desde el entorno hasta las instalaciones el desayuno es perfecto y que decir del personal que trabaja en la pousada yo estoy muy agradecida de la atención que tuvieron conmigo la chica de recepcion Rayane & Juan y tambien destaco la labor de las chicas de la cocina y del chico que limpia la piscina todos con muy buena actitud me voy queriendo volver prontamente tambken quiero agradecer el cafe de la tarde ya que me sirvio mucho ojalas todos valoraran el gran trabajo que hacen saludos y cariños 🙌🏼💕✨️

Pousada à la limite du 1 étoile

Le cadre de la pousada est agréable (en fond de la ville donc proche de la nature). Le jardin est sympa avec oiseaux et fleurs. Le petit déjeuner complet est bon, Le tea time inclus est très appréciable, Le personnel est agréable (quand il est la) L'étage profite d'un petit espace facilement privatif

Pousada vieillotte...(1 étoile mais quand même) Le personnel n'est pas toujours présent, Les salles de bains sont minuscules (pour des chambres de 3 à 5 personnes) La clim non fonctionnelle (chambre humide), autour de la climatisation, des trous sont bouchés avec du papier pour calfeutrer... Pas de nettoyage des sols durant notre séjour, Les draps et couvertures sont propres mais avec des tâches. La piscine (non chauffée) n'était pas fonctionnelle, ni nettoyée: alors qu'elle faisait partie de nos critères = non utilisée Nous avions réservé 2 chambres proches l'une de l'autre (5 mois auparavant avec confirmation du site que ce serait le cas): les chambres proposées sur place n'étaient pas au même étage (celle du rdc donnait sur la salle de déjeuner!) = il a fallut payer 100€ de plus pour changer (sans réel confort supplementaire sauf celui de ne pas dormir a côté de gens qui mangent...)

Un établissement au calme

Le jardin tropical et la terrasse sont agréables. Les petits déjeuners sont bons et la possibilité de laisser ses bagages et de se changer avant de reprendre le ferry est appréciable.

La salle de bain est trop petite et vétuste. Il manque d’endroits pour faire sécher ses serviettes. La chambre manque de charme et la propreté laisse à désirer.
