The staff were mostly quite silent - it may have been the language barrier but we had a lovely time with the breakfast lady (Lucie?) despite the language barrier! The others seemed quite bored, maybe because the hotel was quiet, but at times it felt awkward. The pool would have benefited from daily cleaning, just to fish leaves and bugs out.

very friendly and helpfull staff, good breakfast (from 8 to 10) and free coffee tea and cake (from 5 to 7 in the afternoon), nice location near the jungle, just a five minute walk to the beach where the pier is, quiet place and not so noisy like in the city, cleaning every day with fresh towels, pretty pool area, easy check in and out

shower water was not really warm // we had a good stay, but i would not choose the Economy room again as it is on the ground floor, so a bit darker and everything was damp due to the jungle and not so much space, plus in the morning its noisy because of the kitchen right above the room and a bird on the window that woke us every morning around 6. i am sure the other rooms are better :)

To start is the island just amazing. We did hikes every day and say the most amazing views, monkeys, birds and beaches. The host of the hotel was very friendly and served a great breakfast, but could only speak Portugees so communication was difficult for us. We probably had asked more about the island, tips and trips if we were able to speak her language.

The room was nog as on the pictures at all. Despite the other rooms with pool view or even nature view we had the room in de basement. It was very moist inside the room which made everything clammy. Also everyone could enter your room if you opened the windows, so they had the be closed at night/during the day.

I liked that it had a nice breakfast and the pool area was cute.

I didn’t like that there wasn’t much instruction on how to get to the hotel and I regret not getting a suitcase trolley service since it was uphill and a bit hard to find the front entrance.

Beautiful posada in a peaceful nature setting

Comfy bed and pillows, no plastic matress protector Very clean as promised which was important Cute rustic bathroom (albeit small). Always had hot water ! Lovely shared outdoor space with beautiful garden and small but cute pool that we really enjoyed for an evening dip. Great breakfast. AC working well

Late breakfast start at 8 in the morning with no option to have even coffee later - coupled with the fact that I was woken up every morning before 7 by the pool cleaning (but I am a light sleeper) The room furniture could be improved - very small bed stands where nothing fit, you had to store stuff on the floors.

Far from town centre and sleep near to the jungle for nature insertion

I would like to say that all employees are very kindly and always with smiling faces in the morning. They dont speak english but they care about you. The place is very quite and far from town centre, yes it is really far. It is near the mountain between jungle, you can hear many birds and other nature sounds. The room balcony view is to the neighbord and many trees and jungle, yeah it was a quite nice view with a lot of green. There is a small outside pool with a cold shower, and pool party or portable sound box are forbiden. There are very good breakfast in the morning and also a tea time in the afternoon for free. The bread was ok, and brazillian cake and pie are very delicious. The sheets was ok, towels are free for bathroom and for the beach. There are standard soap and shampoo/rince for free. There is a for paid local laundry service and for paid drinks in the fridge. Me and my wife really liked about this property.

Well the employees don’t speak english or any other language than local. You should to translate by google. Our room was a suite superior, and there was a wall humidity signal during the raining days.

Personnel d’Accueil absent à l’arrivée et antipathique. Piscine très sale. Nous n’avons pas pu nous baigner. La chambre était sale à l’arrivée. La terrasse n'avait pas été nettoyée. Quant à l'humidité ambiante, tout était trempé dans la chambre en permanence...A fuir absolument !

Decepcionante. Mala relación calidad-precio

El desayuno fue muy rico y variado, pero no reponen lo que ofrecen, por lo que debes levantarte temprano para poder disfrutar de toda la variedad. Muchas veces los empleados aún están cocinando cuando ya es la hora de desayuno. Al igual con el servicio de merienda que ofrecen.

Muy mal servicio en la resolución de problemas. Tuvimos mucho olor a desagüe en nuestro baño (imposible de aguantar) desde el primer día que llegamos. La recepción al reclamo fue nula, quisieron ir a 'oler' para corroborar que fuera cierto, pero no en el momento en que hicimos el reclamo, sino cuando la persona tuviera 'un tiempo libre', ya que la misma persona de recepción es la encargada de hacer el desayuno y del aseo general del establecimiento. Claramente falta personal y empatía o responsables para la resolución de problemas. En vez de pasarnos a una habitación que tenían con disponibilidad (se podía corroborar desde booking), eligieron especular y solamente cerrar una rejilla del baño para evitar el olor TAN fuerte, aunque permaneció durante toda la estadía. Lo mismo paso en otro día que no hubo agua caliente, y como solución nos ofrecieron ducharnos en otro cuarto desocupado, luego de indicarnos que estaba funcionando todo bien y querer venir a testear la temperatura del agua. Nunca unas disculpas, nunca una consulta para saber si se habían solucionado los problemas, la atención general deja mucho que desear. La pileta no tiene mantención diaria.

Infelizmente, nossa experiência no hotel não foi positiva. Desde o início, o atendimento na recepção deixou a desejar: o processo de check-in é confuso e pouco eficiente. Além disso, a funcionária que atua tanto na recepção quanto no café da manhã demonstrou comportamento extremamente grosseiro e mal-educado. Esse tratamento não foi direcionado apenas a nós, mas era visível na forma como ela se comunicava com outros hóspedes, o que causa um ambiente desconfortável e pouco acolhedor. O café da manhã também não corresponde ao que se espera. A oferta varia de um dia para o outro de maneira inconsistente — por exemplo, em alguns dias há ovos, em outros não — o que dificulta qualquer tipo de planejamento, especialmente para quem segue uma dieta ou rotina alimentar. O quarto apresentou problemas sérios: durante a noite, havia infiltração, com água escorrendo pelas paredes. A limpeza, de modo geral, foi insatisfatória e não transmitiu a sensação de cuidado e higiene esperada em uma hospedagem. Somado a isso, a localização é distante do centro, tornando os deslocamentos menos práticos. No conjunto, o ambiente não nos passou uma boa sensação durante a estadia. Por esses motivos, infelizmente, não recomendamos o hotel.

O café da manhã é muito bom e bem feito.

Além de ficar muito longe da chegada de barco, o quarto que me colocaram parecia um antigo depósito adaptado para quarto. Era embaixo da pousada (tipo porão), o Wi-Fi não chegava lá e tinha um cheiro de lixo podre na frente do quarto pq os lixos da pousada ficavam depositados do lado do quarto além dos botijões de gás da pousada que tb ficava encostados na parede do quarto pelo lado de fora. Pedi para trocar mas não deixaram (alegaram lotação), acho que era pq esse quarto estava mais barato que os outros.

Muito boa estadia

Gostei muito da hospedagem, café da manhã ótimo, apenas uma sugestão para que sinalizem melhor o local de entrada da hospedagem, pois subimos a escada e ficamos meios perdidos procurando a entrada, depois de perguntar numa pousada foi que um rapaz indicou, a plaquinha fica muito escondida.

La piscine est sympa

Le personnel de l’établissement est vraiment désagréable, surtout la jeune femme. Nous avons été très mal accueilli. La chambre 9 de l’établissement ne devrait même pas être proposée, c’est une cave, il fait noir, humide, la clim fonctionne mal, le lit est minuscule et il n’y a pas d’eau chaude. Quand nous avons demandé à changer de chambre on nous a envoyé balader… Il a fallu contacter le service client, insister et menacer pour qu’on nous change enfin de chambre. Le petit déjeuner n’est pas au frais, la viande, les œufs et le fromage sont à l’air libre, sous 38 degrés. On ne peut même pas s’installer où on veut car la jeune femme nous réprimande. Je ne comprends vraiment pas la bonne note et les bons commentaires de cet établissement… les environs sont sales, tout qui traîne, il n’y a même pas de réception à proprement parler…

Gostosinha

A pousada é bem bonitinha e o quarto que fiquei achei interessante, em relação a estrutura, mas é bem na entrada da pousada, em frente ao portão e do lado da lavanderia, porta ao lado. A pousada não estava cheia, então os dois pontos não atrapalharam, mas acho que um momento de mais movimento pode ser uma questão. O café da manhã é muita basiquinho, não tem muita coisa, mas já fiquei em outras pousadas na ilha é era basicamente o mesmo, acho que é uma característica local. O café é um pouco tarde também, começa às 08h. Os funcionários são ok, são bem na deles, mas receptivos.
