Just an absolutely wonderful experience here at the Maxico

The location is perfect with easy access to the local beach and just a short walk into the town of Cruceta. The staff is incredible and we’re so helpful in every way imaginable. The cleanliness of this facility is beyond anything I have ever seen in a Canadian hotel, no matter how expensive. The facilities are meticulously maintained, and you could eat off the pool deck at any time of the day. I would recommend this to anyone as it is a very good value and the experience was absolutely wonderful. I’ve stayed in many facilities as Huatulco It’s one of my favourite places in all of Mexico. We were originally exposed to this hotel as a result of our friends staying there, and I was immediately impressed upon the first time visiting here. It is an incredible place for families and couples seeking a quiet oasis in the middle of a bustling centre in Santa Cruz. The security at night is exceptional and you just cannot be left with the feeling that you are safe here. I will return Harris many times as I am able to be lucky enough to find accommodation here. I wish they had more than five stars to rate this place.

I didn't like Huatulco much and the hotel was barely adequate

The whole group was able to stay at the same location. It was nice to have the pool area where the group could hang out at the end of the day. We all enjoyed the avocado toast with eggs at breakfast

The a/c was impossible to regulate. The water pressure was barely more than trickle. The pillows were overstuffed and hard. It was noisy. The wifi was insufficient, even when it was accessible

I liked the proximity to the town square, the beach, restaurants. The staff were excellent. They explained the Booking.com process upon arrival. They greeted us upon departure and entry each day.

My room was by the pool area and though it's supposed to close by 9pm - it didn't. A bit noisy, but nothing some earplugs didn't take care of!

THIS HOTEL WAS CENTRALLY LOCATED, THE BEACH WAS MINUTES AWAY, SHOPPING AND FOOD ALL CLOSE BY, ALL WALKING DISTANCE.

THIS OS NOT THE HOTELS FAULT, BUT THE GYM NEXT DOOR PLAYS THEIR MUSIC LOAD 8:00AM MORNING AND TILL 10:00PM IN EVENING. OUR ROOM WAS CLOSET TO GYM, LAST UNIT, ITS NOT THE WORST BE IT CAN BE HEARD.

Location is a 5 minutes walking to Santa Cruz beach, gentle waves. Several varieties and levels from street food to classy restaurants, some on the beach. Quite close to the cruise ship pier, so lots of shopping for Mexican handicrafts. Taxis will take you into the centre ot Playa Entrega for 35 pesos. Offer 40 before you get in. Be sure the market (mercado) in the centre. Great for family cooked meals.

Little access to getting fresh fruit. However, are several small convenience stores.

Superb

Traditional Mexican breakfast, very good. Coffee was excellent and service also good. You could eat by the pool if you wanted. The premises were immaculately clean, rooms were spacious with great air conditioners.

A couple of nights the Mexican Nationals were by the pool playing very loud music, however the Hotel has a strict quite time at 9pm and it was enforced, so really not a problem.

The convenience of the location to the beach would have me book again.

The location is very convenient and the staff was lovely, the restaurant was nice for a quick breakfast and shower was hot at anytime of the day.

The beds/ pillows could use and update (mattress was very stiff) and the wifi was only in common areas, as it’s a concrete structure.

Disappointing not having a pool

location

No notification from booking or hotel pool was being remodeled. Had to call booking and hotel did add a refrigerator and part of a free night. Everything that could go wrong happened. Parking lot at CBX in Tijuana remodeling and had to pay premium. One day over on 8 day stay cost 60 bucks to Mexican government. Pool at hotel was shut down. Prices of everything down in Haultulco have gone up to the point it is almost cheaper in the USA.

Simple clean hotel. Nice pool for the kiddos and showers/bathrooms by the pool. Good A/C and ceiling fan. Staff was super helpful. Found lots of evening vendors with street foods and fruit water excellent price points. There is a night guard who locks up the front reception and it feels safe. Close coffee shop Cafe de Casa around the corner. Taxis across plaza w/ set prices. Close to beach.

Can be a little noisy early evening with families enjoying the pool. It stops around 9-10 pm.

Loudest hotel ever!!

Safe and good location. We got air conditional and it works well. Be patient the hot water will come, just like 8-9 minutes.

There is an old pool in the middle of the hotel, where the guests can play f**kn loud music all night long without any restrictuon.. The worst staff ever (except a girl in reception).. everyone is really grumpy.. There is Wifi signal, sometimes working, mostly NOT.

Beautiful stay in Santa Cruz

This hotel is well situated in Santa Cruz. everything is just a short walk away. Rooms are very clean. The bed is the most comfortable that I have had in Mexico so far. The air conditioner works well and the ceiling fan is great as well. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

The staff doesn’t speak a lot of English and my Spanish is terrible (all my fault though). The wifi signal is terrible. Absolutely no wifi in the room.

Good enough for couple of nights

It was cleaned every day and it was very close to where the tours were, very close to the beach and it had its own pool and the room had a small balcony.

the bathroom was very small and didnt feel clean, when first arrived we had to call maintenance because the toilet was not working, the AC worked fine but could not adjust it, the AC light was on the entire night.
