Lovely hotel close to town and beaches !

We stayed for a week in February. The hotel was simple and clean, and served a very nice Oaxacan breakfast. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed help. We were out to the beaches most of the day, and it was nice to be able to walk to many restaurants and stores after outdoor activities. It is a lovely hotel.

The first room I got was very dirty on the walls… in general is … very basic architecture… they don’t put any effort on making it look cozy. They changed my room and this one had at least clean walls.

Close to beach

The hotel was a few steps from the popular swimming beach and restaurants. It was very clean and the air-conditioner worked well. Plenty of space to place clothes and bed was very large and comfortable.

There was a problem with my booking when I arrived. They didn't have it and despite me showing the confirmation information from booking.com, it took 30 minutes in the heat to resolve it. But the attendant was very nice and did her best. No English speakers made the issue slightly more difficult. There was no hair dryer in the room or available at the desk. No shelf/counter/table in the bathroom to put anything. All of the rooms were centered around the courtyard pool so it was quite noisy. The lighting in the room was just two small overhead fluorescent bulbs, so not very relaxing and not enough light to work. Please know there is no refrigerator or microwave in this room and there was no ice available, which seems pretty consistent with hotels in this price range in Mexico.

Did try the breakfast as there was construction going on right next door, so would have to sit and eat listening to the noise. The location was good, close to the beach.

There was construction going on right next door. They started to work at 7:00 a.m in the morning and most days stopped at 6:00 p.m. Wouldn't use the pool for fear of something from the construction sight following on top of you. We feel that people should be advised of this when booking a room at this hotel. We feel that the hotel should lower their price, under these circumstances or book a different location.

La ubicación del hotel es excelente! Ofrecen desayuno el cual está muy bien relación calidad y precio, pero solo tienen servicio en el desayuno.

Las camas no cuentan más que con una sábana, no tiene ni colcha ni cobija. El balcón está bien, pero se cierra por dentro y por fuera no se puede abrir, así que cuidado con quedarse afuera. No ofrecen servicio de agua potable, solo dejan unas botellas pequeñas al inicio, pero ni en recepción ni en el restaurante te rellenan tu botella de agua, cosa que hacen en todos lados. Pero en el hotel no.

El Hotel de Abril a dejado de ser cómodo ya no son camas confortables hay demasiada humedad en las habitaciones y el minisplit hacia mucho ruido pues ya era un modelo atrasado. El personal muy apático. $ 1500 es un precio alto ya para un hotel con instalaciones que no son aceptables

La ubicación a un costado de bahía, muy cerca del centro, se llega en taxi en menos de 5 minutos y solo cobran 40 pesos, muy bien el clima artificial con minisplit y abanico, perfectamente limpio y silencioso en la noche, el unico inconveniente fue que no tiene elevador y traíamos una maleta muy pesada. Lo recomiendo ampliamente muy buen precio y el personal muy amable
