Excellent location for Innsbruck visit…..

Great location clean room….. Jelena on reception is super fantastic... helped with everything and gave us a long list of eateries and sorted out Innsbruck discount cards for us..... The best receptionist ever and as we are 60 we have met loads!!! Thank you, Jelena, for being so great at your job!! All the very best to you!!!

Fantastic location, wonderful staff

There was a kettle and a fridge in the room. The pool, sauna and steam room were great. The staff were incredibly lovely. The location is great for getting to various buses and locations in the city as well as lots of food options for eating out. Lots of breakfast options including a fresh orange juicer machine.

If I’m being extremely picky the hot tub was warm not hot but to be fair it was I think minus 12 in when we were there and there’s no lid on it and it’s outside so this is challenging! When we went to the spa area after about 8pm there were often no towels left. We were only given enough milk in the room for one day and didn’t want the room cleaned so had to ask at reception to get more. All very minor things.

Good, would definitely recommend them for your stay!

The location of hotel was good in sense its very close to central Innsbruck where you would be spending most of your time. You can also find bus stops 3 mins walk away and also supermarkets another 1 min away from bus stop. We tend to pick fruits and yogurt as we were travelling with a baby, so give high preference to this. The gentleman at check in desk was very polite & friendly, ready to give us directions and suggestions for city exploration. The buffet spread was good, given we were travelling with our 2 yr old - we did not feel any challenge. The rooms were also spacious

Nothing, the stay was good and comfortable. The hotel is about 1 km away from Innsbruck Hbf (main train station), which isnt much of walk on a regular day but we overestimated our potential with bags and baby. If for some reason you cant walk much to hotel from train station, plan for bus route which the city is very well connected through.

Comfortable hotel within walking distance to the old center and markets.

Breakfast was good; room seemed big enough to accomodate all guests. Mostly typical buffet, but did have plenty of local breads and cheeses. Happily saw the little sign saying they would cook eggs to order. Pool on the upper floor, with a sauna, and outside a hot tub. Pool was a little cool for me, but hot tub felt nice in the outdoor chill. Was a convenient location for the old town, restaurants and this time of year the Christmas markets.

Staff were not very friendly and appeared to be under pressure

The safe in the room did not work. Reported it and nothing was done to fix it. No drinking water in the room and you would expect this in a 4 Star hotel. We were charged €3 for a very small bottle on the first night. Next night had bought a large bottle for a lot less than €3. Coffee in the room first night 2 varieties of Nescafe + milk. 2nd night just one and no milk. 1st night, 2 good size bath towels, 2nd night replacement bath towels very small about the size of bath mats. One was in shreads. Photo taken.

Very nice, convenient place to stay with everything you could want.

Ideally situated, about 3 minutes walk from the Hofburg and pedestrian entrance to the Altstadt, Grauer Bär is a great place to stay. There is a parking garage (it's actually public and costs €17 per day) but it is joined by an underground corridor directly to the hotel. Follow the signs "Grauer Bär" when you enter the InnenSTADT carpark. There are charging points for E-Cars : you get a "Chip" from reception which starts (and stops) the charge, and payment is added to your room bill. This worked really well. My room, on 3rd floor, was very nice, modern and comfortable, with a great shower and good wifi. My dog was made welcome, even though he was not really allowed into the breakfast room : in the end no-one minded, and we sat in a quiet corner. They even brought the dog a bowl of water. Thank you very much for your kind attention 😀.

A superb hotel, ideally located with exceptional staff both front of house & cleaning. Wonderful roof top indoor pool with views of mountains as you swim! Outdoor hot tub plus sauna & steam room. Walking distance to everything to see & experience in Innsbruck. Highly recommended & would certainly book again

Simply perfect

We were struck by the overall excellence of this hotel. We enjoyed a very roomy, comfortable, and elegantly designed modern suite with every amenity, including plenty of outlets for charging various devices (rare in European hotels!). Excellent breakfast, friendly staff, location just a few minutes' walk from the historic center. And given that Austria can be very pricey, we were pleasantly surprised by the reasonable room rates.

Good lication

Great location, close to alstadt, easy to get around. Hotel had spa, pool and sauna on roof, which was good but only open after 5.00.

Difficult to get Welcome card on arrival, with alot of delay and conflicting information. Eventually got given another guests card who had not collected it. Room was not as clean as it could be, carpet not vacuumed. Breakfast was OK but nothing special.

Lounge, bar and breakfast were excellent. Nice to have a 12pm check out time too. Great location and helpful staff.

Rooms are a little outdated, especially the hallway to get to them. Spa facilities were only available between 5-9pm which meant we didn't get to use them.

Lovely and relaxing stay!

Lovely hotel - very nice feel, nice rooms, beautiful spa, and really yummy breakfast. We loved it!

Many of the spa facilities are currently only open 5pm-9pm. Understandable with the energy crisis, but it would’ve been nice for that to be clearly advertised prior to booking.
