Great accommodation in a gem of a location

Very welcoming and informative staff. The location is perfect, and the rooftop terrace is ideal for coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening to watch the world go by.

Wonderful location with a beautiful terrace. Exceptional breakfast, stylish antique furnitures. Raphaela gave us detailed information on the area, provided hiking maps. Excellent restaurant next door with food being delivered on the wonderful roof terrace. Aperitivo, coffee and tea available

Terrible.

No heat in the room. Street Noise. A very large street lamp hung above the street directly outside bedroom window with only a sheet like material covering the window so the room stayed well lit making it difficult to sleep. There was a small leak around the bathroom sink. After check in when I realized there was no heat, I was given a space heater. Heater put off an odor so I was afraid to leave it on for long. Breakfast room is tiny and in the adjoining building so a coat was necessary to go to the office and breakfast room which are one and the same. Little information was provided on arrival, and then only piecemeal, so one trip down the very steep stairs after another was necessary. I checked out the next morning after being polite and waiting until other guests were out of earshot. Rather than at least respecting my wish to check out after a night of no sleep the owner couldn’t have been more unpleasant.

Lovely little room with balcony. Comfortable and clean ! Right in the centre of monterosso. The terrace at the top was amazing and good for people watching . Gastronomia San Martino just below and deliver food to the terrace! Great value for money. Would definitely recommend it! Good value for money too!

Having breakfast included would have been great. But there are lots of lovely place just down the road!

The location was absolutely spectacular. I love that the patio has a gorgeous view of the city center and colorful buildings. It was steps from every restaurant and sights in Monterrosso. The owners were super friendly and let me store my bag after check out so I could enjoy the beach before my train. The rooms were spotless and super comfy. Wifi was fast.

Overall it was good. For those without a car one needs to be fit to walk up to the apartment especially with luggage.

A lovely view. Amenities were also good. in addition communication with host was excellent and he/ she allowed early check in. we didn’t have a car but noted there was underground parking available. It also had a washer as well as clothespins and a line.

There was nothing we disliked but we suggest that more glasses including wine glasses and coffee mugs be provided. The fridge and freezer doesn’t seal. The cutlery tray was at an inconvenient location. To facilitate the kitchen table being pulled out we suggest the artificial flower arrangement not be on the table. The layout of the living room for television watching was also not conducive.

Comfortable, location- centric, and relaxing

The location is amazing, minutes away from the beach and wonderful food all around! Our favorite part had to be the roof top terrace and balcony connected to our room! I am not sure all the rooms have a balcony but everyone has access to the rooftop and we loved it. Make sure you go to the restaurant that is right next to the entrance called Gastronomia San Martino, we got our food “Take away” and ate it on our roof top terrace. All around a wonderful place and well worth the price! The staff was also very nice and gave us good recommendations for food !

Fantastic stay, hospitable host, great location

My stay was fantastic. The host was incredibly helpful and informative. The room is cozy but is perfect for a solo traveler or couple. It is in a great location and the wifi is speedy. The restaurant next door even delivers to your room or the upstairs terrace. All in all really fantastic stay.

My only (very minor) comment is that the AC sometimes makes a weird noise but I did not need to use it often. Everything else is great!

The location was perfect, right in de middle of the town. The terrace wonderfull. We had a good diner delivered on the terrace from the restaurant next door. Decoration of room and terrace were very nice. Rafela gave us usefull tips on hiking in the vicinity and a map (we did the hike from monterosso to riomaggiore in a bit more than 5 hours, netto walking time, extremely nice, and had the best lunch ever in Manarola in trattoria dal Billy). I recommemd an early start of the walk, still a bit quiet. Return by boat or train. Next day a loopwalk to Levanto, very nice also!
