Amazing little hotel, a safe haven during big conventions.

Very clean and cosy little Hotel. I was really worried at first because I didn't receive any confirmation from the hotel until shortly before checking in, but everything went super smooth. The owner is really lovely, and it was nice having a little chat before heading to the Convention. (She wasn't pushy, either, which I appreciate as someone who can be socially anxious.) The hotel is really close to the convention centre. Staying there felt more like having your own little home within the hotel, rather than a typical "hotel" experience. I was able to relax and take breaks from the con whenever needed, which was incredibly helpful.

Have to let yourself in Only saw a staff member on last day stayed 3 nights who was very pleasant Breakfast was an optional extra but felt should have been included Breakfast room was not inviting Parking we thought was on site but were given parking permits to park in adjacent road

Poor communication prior to visit. As I'd booked two rooms for a family trip I tried to contact The Arc three days before my visit for confirmation and some advice I emailed and rang them without any response I was a little concerned so contacted Booking.com who also tried unsuccessfully on two occasions to contact them. Finally got a response on the Friday morning after that everything was then fine

Perfect for a short stay and great value.

I have 3 requirements for a good stay, in this order: Clean, powerful shower, comfortable bed. It had all 3. I stayed in the single room. Considering it's a small room, it had everything I could possibly need. It is well located near the town. I kept my window open all night and wasn't bothered by any traffic noise, despite it being on a main road. Would stay here again if I ever came to Harrogate.

Everything was great, clean, modern, comfortable and brilliant value for money.

The only complaint I would have is the cable for the kettle is too short to make using the kettle in that area safe... absolutely everything else was brilliant.

Great hotel.. but no internet in my room!

Clean and welcoming hotel, the room was great and the location very close to the town. It was an easy check-in process which the host guided me through and was always on hand to answer questions. Bed was comfy. The hotel is quiet which is great.

The WIFI unfortunately didn't reach my room at all (there were zero bars on the WIFI signal so it wouldn't connect) so it was useless bringing my laptop with me as I couldn't catch up on work. Was disappointed with this as I'm sure the hotel can just put an extra router in the room.

Great stay in a great place

Very central but nice and quiet at night, very comfy bed and the room was cosy and very clean, a parking permit is provided which was very handy. Shower is good and toiletries are provided, there’s a hairdryer too. Kim messaged me on the morning of arrival with all the details of how to gain entry, where the keys and permit will be and her phone number if I needed anything, very nice lady.

Cosy room in friendly guest house, very well located for the conference centre and restaurants.

The room was comfortable and opposite the entrance to the conference centre, which was perfect for my visit. The proprietor was friendly and welcoming.

I was disappointed that there was no breakfast available though I should probably have checked this beforehand.

Good value for money.

The property is located in a very convenient place next to my conference venue. It’s clean and quiet.

My room was in the second floor, the internet connection was not good and keeps breaking down every few minutes while the connection is excellent in the ground and first floors.

Disappointing and not worth the money.

The location was the main positive

We booked the family room which was up 44 steps top floor room 8., no lift. It had a double bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed mattress was so worn and thin that a duvet had been folded and placed under the sheet really uncomfortable. The light kept going out in the bathroom. I thought as it stated a B&B breakfast was included but it wasn't.

Great for convention centre trips.

Perfect location for the convention centre, it is literally down the steps, cross road and go straight up the convention centre steps. The bed is very comfy but I’m glad I took my own pillow. Shower is amazing!! Very good water pressure, your hair will be rinsed out in seconds!

The room was quite warm and stuffy but there is a nice big window and a little fan to help. Nothing else to dislike for me.
