Clean, comfort lodgings with great hosts

Great location but better yet great people. Nigel and Caroline were exceptional host. From AMAZING breakfasts to the history lessons of Harrogate from Nigel. I can’t say enough of their passion for Harrogate and hospitality.

An absolute gem in Harrogate. We had a wonderful stay here, it is a beautiful house/home that is spotlessly clean with so many extra touches from the lovely hosts Caroline and Nigel. The breakfasts were amazing, all freshly made and delicious. We can’t wait to visit again.

Fantastic stay - highly reccomend

Amazing guest house. Loved every minute of our time there. Hosts couldn't do enough for us. Room was immaculate, bed so comfy, facilities brilliant and breakfast was unreal! Location is excellent too.

The guest house was perfectly located for easy access to Harrogate town center, yet on a no through road street so no traffic noise, very peaceful. The decor was beautiful, very calming relaxing atmosphere. Cleanliness outstanding.

Perfect

Perfect location with the added bonus of being able to park. The room was spacious, warm cosy and comfortable. Everything you needed and more. Breakfast was probably one of the best we have had in a guest house. Fabulous hosts. We can’t wait to come back.

Amazing guest house and hosts.

Our stay at Springdale guest house was amazing and the owners Caroline and Nigel are the perfect hosts. The little extras like dressing gowns and drinks in the room fridge were unexpected but welcomed. The breakfast choice, freshly cooked to order, is amazing and certainly sets you up for the day. A beautiful guest house and it's location is perfect - just a short walk to the town centre. We would highly recommend 5☆. We came as guests but felt like friends when we left. Thank you Caroline and Nigel.

Fabulous stay close to the centre of Harrrogate

The guesthouse was lovely and the decor was opulent. We received a warm welcome from the host Nigel. He helped us with our luggage and showed us our beautiful room which was lovely and warm. Everything was clean and modern. Our host was very informative, helpful and friendly. The room facilities were perfect and the little treat left for us to enjoy was a lovely touch. Breakfast was top notch. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The guest house was very close to the centre and parking facilities were great. If we visit Harrogate again we will be back.

Lovely stay

Every thing. Very welcoming Breakfast was really nice . The warm berries were delicious and the poached eggs were done to perfection . The guest house was spotless. Best one we have stayed at . Nigel and caroline are lovely people. Looking forward to booking again as very central to all harrogate amenities. Felt very safe at night in harrogate. In the rooms there were added touches which were nice . Biscuits tea coffee. A fridge which had fresh milk coke and bottled water. Shampoos too and a small bottle of red wine on arrival Went to see the carpenters experience which was great. Wish we had stayed longer. Thank you Nigel and Caroline for making our stay enjoyable .

Room facilities were excellent, clean & comfortable with all your needs catered for. Harrogate centre is just a short walk away with a good variety of shops, restaurants & pubs. After a good nights sleep we enjoyed a tasty breakfast in the morning where there was plenty of choice. Caroline & Nigel were lovely hosts and we would certainly recommend this guest house to our friends.

Superb

We stayed the Thursday before Good Friday and we arrived a little early which was no problem. Springdale is located a short walk from the centre of Harrogate on a quiet side road with permit parking provided upon arrival. Caroline and Nigel were the perfect hosts and the property is a credit to both their building skills and design flair. Room 2, situated on the first floor at the front, was spotlessly clean and superbly presented, with a well equipped ensuite with shower and a bath in the bedroom was a lovely touch. Having been to the Turkish Baths the comfortable bed, hot shower and luxurious surroundings were just the ticket to continue our relaxation. After a good night's sleep and a hearty breakfast we went on our way with only one reservation... we wish we had booked for longer. Thanks for your hospitality

Wow what a beautiful place this , stunning home with everything you can think of , chocolate on arrival , wine , soft cuddly dressing gowns real luxurious stay . Nigel and Caroline could not do enough for us during our stay , beautiful breakfast with a free history lesson ! Few minutes walk from the town centre….this place didn’t disappoint in any way !! Even had a Buck’s Fizz for breakfast for an Easter treat …

Our stay at Springdale was excellent. The house is so beautiful and clean. We only booked a basic room but this was still so thoughtfully laid out. We did have a peek at the bigger rooms which were gorgeous, especially the ones with the roll top baths. Think we will treat ourselves next time and book one of these rooms. The hosts were so welcoming and willing to share their knowledge of the area with us, including the best places to eat.

we liked everything from the minute we arrived,check in was quick and easy, Caroline is a fantastic host made are stay great , fantastic, brilliant, amazing,The only place to stay in Harrogate , Caroline and Nigel in my opinion are exceptional,From the Rooms, attention to detail etc and we arrived as strangers but left as Friends,The best we have stayed in,All Hotels and B&B's need to come and learn the Art of Hospitality, Attention to detail and service and not forgetting quality produce at Breakfast, didn't want to leave and we will be back.
