Great place to stay, highly recommend!

I had a lovely studio room which had everything I needed for a short stay. The room was clean and had plenty of tea, coffee and fresh milk which was a bonus! The parking was convenient and the Belmont is a short walk to the shops and restaurants in Harrogate.

Well worth the money! Warm, cosy and perfect location.

Clean, convenient and had all the things we needed. It was small but very good value! Amazing facilities, powerful shower and warm. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space. The communication and friendliness from the team was amazing too.

The steps down the basement apartment are steep and there isn’t a rail. It snowed and this meant the steps were slippy. The inside of the property was brilliant though!

I had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay from start to finish.

I had a very enjoyable stay overall. The room was comfortable, clean, and well presented, making it very relaxing. The shower was particularly good, with strong water pressure and consistent temperature. Everything met a high standard and contributed to a very pleasant experience.

Nice but could be better for the money

The place was nice, coffee capsules were a great touch and kitchen facilities were good. Bedroom comfortable and cosy, great TV and Netflix which was great.

There is clearly damp issues with the property, paint bubbling and peeling off the walls in bathroom, blinds stained from mold which the owners have tried to remove but stains have remained. Mold and damp are a health issue and does need addressing properly. Lack of privacy at the door between bedroom and bathroom, door should have fully frosted glass. Room did not look like pictures.

Overall good value for money, clean, warm accommodation. Just what we needed.

The studio apartment was very warm and cosy. It had everything we needed for our two night stay. Onsite parking was great to have. Good location for the town centre. Very quiet location.

If I had to pick at something it would be the smell of the drainage in the bathroom as it hit you when opening the door on arrival. We used the bathroom fan to eliminate the smell for a while.

Great short stay

Located in a quiet residential area, yet only a short walk to the town centre and supermarket. The room was clean and comfortable, and ideal for a few nights stay. The kitchen was well equipped, and the microwave and oven combination was surprisingly good. A small bottle of complimentary milk, along with tea, coffee, and sugar, were useful additions. The bed was comfortable, with good quality bedding.

Unless you are very small, the kitchen sink is difficult to use, as the high level cupboards protrude out to the same distance as the low level ones. There is a lack of storage space in the room, no wardrobe, and only a couple of coat hangers were provided on a rack by the door.

Great studio, brilliant location, in need of tlc

Brilliant location, great facilities. Brilliant large towels!!! Plenty of tea, coffee etc.

Needed refurbishing, due in January. Bedside table was dangerous and falling apart , paint in bathroom peeling, beds very narrow ... we chose to have twin not double. The downside of an apartment is no one on gand 24/7. We were kept awake by a strange electrical noise one night, apparently from an empty room above us. Had there been someone on site, this could have been resolved. Both my friend have mobility issues. We were moved to a ground floor studio, however, what wasn't made clear was that there were steep steps leading up to the front door!! A real problem getting cases up them when you walk with sticks!!!

Spotless apartment. Well equipped kitchen including a coffee machine which was a bonus. Hot water in the shower and fluffy thick towels. Bed really comfy with lovely bedding. Excellent location 15 minutes walk into centre of Harrogate. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Love this apartment

We had an excellent stay in this super comfy apartment, which had a great location close to the conference centre. The added bonus of a parking space took the hassle out of trying to find somewhere to park. Loved the H2K toiletries!

Maintenance and customer service issues meant our stay was disappointing despite a really good location

Very good location, free parking permits supplied. Keyless entry system.

Stayed in number 2. Signs of long term damp in walls in bathroom. Continuous loud noise in bedroom from radiator area on side wall even when heating and radiator itself turned off. We raised this with Harrogate Stays on first morning of 3 night stay after a disrupted nights sleep. After a prompt reply promising a visit we didn’t hear anything for over 24 hours and when we chased for progress after another noisy night were told a handyman had let some air out the radiator and noise can travel from the nearby plant room. Slept with a pillow over our heads for all 3 nights!

Great quiet location close to town centre. Everything you need in the apartment. Milk in the fridge was a nice touch.

Had a slight musty smell when arriving which disappeared when the heating was turned on. Code to enter the property did not work when we arrived. Messaged but did not get a response for 45 minutes. Luckily another guest let us into the building.

Excellent. A small room, but I had booked a single. Very well organised. Comfortable. Spotlessly clean. Many nice touches. A small ensuite but with a full-size shower. A QR code for the internet. Fresh milk in the fridge. Very good value for money. I will happily stay there again.

Good for what it was but hard to recommend

The room we stayed in was spacious & well designed for the attic space. It felt modern on the inside. Parking was available at the rear of the property.

We were in the very top floor room & the 46 stairs up were a trek. Also unfortunate the hot summers day meant our room was very warm with only a fan. Will also say the pillows were terrible.

Room perfect for a weekend in Harrogate

Mark - the host - has been incredibly responsive since from the booking. The room was clean, nice and cozy. The location was a reasonable walking distance from the station, in a safe area.

My stay was only 2 days long, so everything went smoothly. Perhaps, the only comment I could make is that the noise insulation was not the best, but that’s pretty standard in a Victorian building.
