In the process of having some alterations but it didn’t affect our stay

I didn't stay in the end

as a lone traveler I wasn't expecting to be the only person in the building - no one to meet and greet and a key left in a safe place. contact was good with the host however, he didn't return and I was on my own in the property - i didn't feel safe and left to go to another hotel.

Very limited parking but this was quickly solved with a parking permit almost next door to the guest house.

Room and location very good

Location was perfect, a 10 minute walk to the train station, or a 5 minute walk in to town. Hosts were lovely and friendly and helpful and free parking always a bonus

Fab spot in central Harrogate for a place to stay if you're there for business reasons!

Great location withing walking distance of central Harrogate. Our host Stewart was lovely, approachable and was quick to remedy a mistake I made on our booking. Also recieved a proper cooked breakfast every morning of our liking.

Room was a little on the cold side despite radiators being on, which I chalk down to the building being quite old.

Location great for conference centre room ok & clean Free Parking at property ( although very small area & difficult to get in / out of.

property very tired looking. Paper peeling off ceiling in dining room. Very basic attention to rooms on daily basis. I stayed for 3 nights, bed wasn’t made any day , took away used mug but didn’t replace with clean one, same towels for entire stay. No clean/ wipe over of sink in bathroom on daily basis as would expect. Saw Kitchen & absolute shambles ! Not clean looking. Only ever had tea/ toast for breakfast ! Host ok. Trip advisor reviews are very good ! unfortunately I cannot agree with these. I wouldn’t recommend to others or stay here again.

Great location

Excellent location just a few minutes walk from the centre of town. Having parking permits was very useful and we found a space easily. The apartment was comfortable and very good value.

A few more supplies needed - only one teaspoon! Also only 2 or 3 knives, forks, mugs, plates, glasses - at least 4 needed to save washing up every time. There was very little soap/ shower gel/ washing up liquid provided. Most places leave more generous amounts.

Close to Convention Centre

Perfect location if you are working in the Convention Centre opposite. Room had everything we need. Shower was really good. We were given a free parking space behind the building, so could forget about our car during our stay. Stewart was available if you had any questions. Cooked breakfast was very good.

Great location opposite the Conference Centre and close to town centre. Lots of restaurants in easy walking distance.

On street parking with having to display daily residents card to avoid parking ticket. Had to drive round a few times to find a space.

Holidaying in Harrogate

The location was really good - very close to centre of the town. Stewart, the host, was most hospitable and was keen to share local knowledge to make our stay even better. Breakfast was delicious too.

There wasn't anything in particular to dislike. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was always freshly cooked and made to order.

The location primarily. It was really clean and tidy. The host was amazing. Absolute pleasure staying there. Nothing was to much trouble. The host really made the stay a pleasure. So accommodating. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and delicious. As a result I will be returning every week going forward. Thank you so much Stuart! 😊

Great location for our couple of nights, great for budget managing.

Location was excellent. Good storage and good breakfast choices. The hosts were quite attentive.

The shower was quite difficult to control the temperature. Some of the furnishings are quite dated.

Staff very pleasant and helpful and it was only a short walk to bus and train station and the main shopping area.

I didn’t like the parking arrangement’s as my car was parked at the back of the property and I had quite a walk to get to it. I would have liked a room on a lower level but was not given a choice.

Fantastic stay at this bed and breakfast. Stayed for a 2 day conference over the road and it was perfect. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return . Location is perfect to town and the accommodation is really good value for money. No issues at all.

Great location, lots of restaurants and bars within five minutes walk. Comfortable bed and ample breakfast served by friendly host.

Small TV considering the large room. Only one teabag and one coffee sachet, make sure you take your own if you like more than one brew.
