Opted for the upgrade and the king size bed was lovely. Sadly shower head was tiny so did not quite meet expectations of the upgrade but a comfortable quiet evening. Breakfast was good although a little cold due to air con in the restaurant.

The room was spotless well done house keeping. Staff were responsive when I had an issue with the television. Very quick. My partner needed a meal warming up due to a dietary requirement He was dealt with rudely by the receptionist. It wasn’t the fact of not being able to warm the meal it was the treatment of my partner and dismissing him to speak to another customer before the conversation had concluded.

I expected more from the Plaza to be honest. Staff were helpful and attentive but the overall hotel itself is tired in the common parts and needs updating. The room was ok, very clean etc and in reasonble condition. Breakfast could be better in terms of choice. Although you could order what you liked and service was very good. The staff worked very hard and were very polite. Lovely people.

We had a nice room on the 10th with a large comfortable bed, everything was clean and well cared for with lovely soft towels. Tea making equipment and biscuits provided. All of the staff from reception, waiting and cleaners were very friendly and helpful

Well used property but clean and still acceptable. Car park underneath building is discounted to £12 per night. Room was ok but breakfast was a shambles with lack of staff and no real organisation albeit the food was good. Had to wait for a table and food/plates etc to be replenished on both days of our stay and all staff were showing the pressure with no one smiling or enjoying being there. Probably won’t be back again.

Everything was good at Crowne Plaza Harrogate, the only small thing would be the water pressure from the shower wasn't very good. I was on the 11th Floor. If this had been better, it would have been 5 stars.

We had an executive room which was the same as our daughters non executive room so don't bother paying more for executive. Carpet in our room (904) was very dirty - I told reception so hopefully they have addressed this now. Netting at the window (already had protective opening) did nothing to add to the atmosphere. Only 1 person serving in the bar Saturday evening when we had hoped to order bar snacks and drinks so there was a long queue and we gave up.

The staff were wonderful, especially the two on reception. The hotel was very centrally located for our plans, and we had a great stay. We had a high room with lovely views over Harrogate, but the room had an adjoining door, which meant we could hear everything going on in the room next door, literally everything. Next time, we will specify a non-adjoining room.

This is an exceĺlent hotel which is well located for the town centre. The entrance to the carpark can be difficult to find as it shares its entrance with the conference centre. Once in there are lots of carparking spaces. The staff were excellent throughout our stay. Our room was on the eighth floor room 815 and was very comfortable.The only slight annoyance was a mark/stain on the carpet at the foot of the bed, which looked like it had been there for some time. I would not expect this in this standard of hotel. Everything else was excellent including the breakfast which was served in a very nice dining room. Enjoyed our stay.

Overall, this a decent in hotel but the cleaning staff are clearly letting it down. When going for a shower on the day we arrived we tried to use the rolled up rubber bath mat only to find it had several smears of excrement on it. The very fact that a cleaner rolled it up and didn't address it is beyond belief. We complained and they immediately replaced it. After night 1, we went out and returned mid afternoon and noticed the cleaners had been in. Before we left in the morning we had left our towels on the floor expecting them to be changed. It was clear they had just hung them back up. Bed wasn't made and some rubbish next to the bin wasn't removed. Really not what we expect from a Crowne Plaza or any hotel for that matter. On a positive note everything else was really good but they have to get the cleaning standards improved.
