If we go back to Harrogate, we would always go back to the same place

A very pleasant and easy experience.

Having previously always looked for the cheapest option when exhibiting at the convention centre, I opted to go upmarket this year. This made a great difference to enjoying my trip and being able to do a little work. The owner is really friendly and cooks a great breakfast. The property is well located for the convention centre (some 3 - 5 minutes by foot) as well as the centre of town. Well worthwhile if you are visiting the convention centre or just visiting Harrogate. Overall, though you may find something slightly less expensive further from the centre, you'd be hard pushed to find accommodation which offers a combination of value, high standards, proximity the the town centre and peace and quiet.

Great family owned accommodation in an excellent location

From the moment we entered the accommodation we were greeted and checked in quickly and with exceptional customer service. Rooms were clean, facilities were great and breakfast was fresh and tasted great. Location is ideal just a very short walk to bars and restaurants. We would definitely recommend and return

Okay but definitely better options in Harrogate

Room was clean, small but adequate and had all the coffee/tea supplies etc you might need. Location was perfect. Tabs seemed friendly when we met her and gave us ways to contact her.

Bathroom smelt bad on the first night and then we realised it was just because the shower hadn't been run for a while. Tabs seemed welcoming but there was a letter in the bedroom which was a list of rules and do nots including fines for doing certain things which seemed very aggressively worded and felt very un-welcoming. She stated on that letter there was no sound proofing so we were concerned that we would disturb other guests throughout our stay. Wifi was almost non-existent and referred to as "not guaranteed" on the aggressive letter despite being listed on the website. There was renovation work going on so no breakfast etc which was fine because it couldn't be helped. However, I found the exposed carpet tacks on every step of the property somewhat alarming and off putting and that wasn't because of renovation. Should we have raised these issues in person, maybe yes, but if you see the way this person responds to reviews you will see why we did not and none of them she could have fixed at the time.

Exceptional

I loved the location as I was there for conference at Conventional Centre. Also there was so many restaurants and stores nearby. It was around 10 min walk to bus station, so I didn´t have to worry about being late for my bus to the airport. I loved how coffe, tea and some hot chocolate was waiting for me there to be drank. The bed was wonderful, and warm blanket was waiting in the cabinet so I didn´t have to be worried about being cold at night. My room had many storage places, tiny fridge and also iron, it was nice touch. And the lady Tabs - wonderful person, I am really glad that I met her, she was so nice to me and understanding, she made me comfortable during my stay here, it was very nice from her. The only thing that I didn´t like was that I have to leave. I really enjoy staying there, watching thunderstorm from my window in the evening with cup of hot chocolate being wrapped up into warm fluffy blanket. Thank you for making my trip better.

Very central location. The room was very cozy. The owner was very helpful. The room had everything you needed.

The Wifi was not the greatest and would cut out. Could not plug in the little fridge due to the plug socket being broken.

Welcoming, Peaceful, Convent, Comfortable.

Breakfast was not included but was only £10 extra. I opted out and walked an easy 8 mins to main shops & coffee shop. Location was fantastic for the convention centre. I could literally walk out the door, cross the road and was there. I could clearly see the bedroom window from the entrance to the convention centre.

The bed mattress and pillows could have been better. No little bottles of shampoo or conditioner provided, but wouldn't hesitate book again for the great price and ease of convenience.

Location was perfect for the conference centre and also within easy distance of the train station.

The property is lovely, excellent value for money and has such a wonderful calm energy. A delicious fresh cooked breakfast and nothing was too much trouble. Perfect location for exploring Harrogate on foot. I would definitely book to stay here again.

The proprietor was very helpful and provided on-street parking discs where necessary. Many thanks :) The bed was very comfortable (medium/hard) and a good choice of pillows. Overall clean and tidy and plenty of space and sockets for laptops/charging etc. Good sized desk for catching up on a bit of work. Location superb - directly opposite the convention centre. I did not sample the breakfast or use the TV so I cannot comment on those.

The chairs are a bit old and worn out and some very slight mold in the bathroom/windows in some places but nothing really to worry about. I did think it a bit pricey but then I did leave it rather late when booking. So all minor points really.
