Great location gorgeous hotel, facilities
The spa is amazing but there is a real problem with people going for treatments or just leaving towels on beds and never coming back so it leaves loungers out of action for other guests , I spoke to lady at spa reception she was quite short with me. She had a grey tunic and trousers on. I explained there were 15 beds with towels on only eight people in the actual spa area including sauna steam Jacuzzi Pool and there is nowhere for me or my husband too enjoy laying on one of the lounges she snapped at me and said the last time she looked there were only 4 occupied bed with towels on and I said well that isn’t the case now but she wasn’t interested so I took it upon myself to remove two towels so my husband and I could enjoy our spa experience. ( which I couldn’t really because I hate confrontation and I was anxious that somebody was going to come back to the bed and cross that we’ve moved their towels)We were there for two hours and not one person came back to the lounges and that was the case for six of us too there was lots of people standing around looking at the beds unsure what to do ,somebody should go round and remove all of the towels if they’re not occupied after a certain amount of time it’s very unfair and that’s the only problem in the hotel , it is amazing. The spa is amazing. It’s just a problem with the lounges. It’s like being abroad and fighting for sun beds which I don’t expect in a beautiful hotel like the Doubletree Hilton Majestic.

Lovely breakfast amazing spa some staff very helpful a couple not just felt a bit of lack of communication
The room was a bit tired chairs torn bed was very hard I work up a bit achy the bathroom was the nicest part of the room 118 but overall the rest of the hotel made the stay very enjoyable

Staff were brilliant. Food and drink selection was really good and location was perfect.
We had to move rooms due to a smashed window. Upon entering our second room we were shocked to also find another smashed window. When paying what we did to stay we were very shocked to then have to pay £18 per night to park our car. The room situation was very disappointing and because of this I would be very hesitant to return which is a shame as I had planned on returning and bringing my son as a treat.
