Double Room stated small but o didn’t realise how small, actually quite tiny if I knew I would have upgraded to a smaller room.we stayed in room 113 1st floor avoid at all costs. 2 doors outside constantly banging. Late at night then 7.15 on the morning large bins to the rear being filled with bottles etc very Noisey, defo stayed in better quieter hotels in Harrogate also £15 parking fee for overnight

Room was tiny , paint flaking of windowsill , shower was so small and so was the bathroom , then woke up at 5.50 to noise wagons emptying bins from shops behind , then more wagons delivering banging beeping ! Won’t be staying here again !

Arrived and the room was like a hothouse all windows closed and heating on full blast it took til the following morning for the room to cool down . Breakfast was lovely and the staff were fab . Bed was also tiny for a double we paid for 3 nights but left after 2

Great hotel in the middle of Harrogate, walking distance in any direction to shops, bars & restaurants. John Street at the back of the hotel is very quaint with an assortment of independent bars, bistro's and pubs serving food. The room was spacious, clean and upt to date. Large bar (Pickled Sprout) down stairs which was also open to the public serving food was very popular. Highly recommend

Clean and comfortable hotel. Poor service experience in the restaurant. Waited 20 mins after being seated before I left, tried to get attention of staff, all not looking around for customers needing service. Reception staff very helpful. Would stay again, just eat elsewhere. Great location for shops and restaurants. It’s opposite Bettys which is a bonus!

Stayed here several times and love the feel of the hotel. Managed to check in early which was a bonus. Room is comfortable but on this occasion far too hot despite having the use of two fans. Made sleeping difficult. Otherwise, all good.

Really lovely hotel in a fantastic place, everything walkable. Room was clean, and great facilities however it was extremely hot. Ground floor room which looked onto a ginnel. No breeze through the window. It had a couple of tower fans but they just circulated warm air. Asked to move rooms but was advised the hotel was full and to try putting an ice bucket in front of the fan, this made no difference. Very poor night sleep due to the heat, despite sleeping with fans on top of bedding. This put a downer on the experience and I would not stay again unfortunately, being in the room was uncomfortable not what you need on a weekend away.

We had a junior suite, which was a bathroom ( shower only with low water pressure) bedroom ( good size) and additional room with sofa and desk in . All fine , but not as luxurious as I'd hoped for - or expected for the price . Just a few little touches could have made all the difference- cushions on the sofa , table in spare room with water and glasses , better toiletries... Also no room in "car park" but found it cheaper to street park anyway !!. Restaurant was good though which was one of the reasons we stayed here.

Great weekend break, hotel in good location, walkable to main areas in town, bars, restaurants, shops, train station etc. Breakfast was really good. We didnt eat in hotel but restaurant looked really popular and the bar was very busy. Staff really friendly and helpful. Parking is tricky as limited spaces but public parking is close by. We did get parked after some initial minor confusion as there is a parking cone system for guests already there. Both girls on reception were super helpful. Check in is 4pm which felt a little late as we wanted to shower etc and go out early before our evening meal but it worked out ok although 3pm would be better. Really enjoyed our stay, the room was very comfortable and spacious with nice big towels in bathroom. Breakfast was buffet style but very good quality with items replenished very regularly. We have stayed before and will stay again!

Lovely hotel in a great spot in Harrogate! Everything is within walking distance and the building itself is gorgeous. The room was clean, tea & coffee well stocked and towels were very fresh & fluffy. Breakfast itself was tasty and located on the 5th floor, giving great views!
