delightful renovated Georgian hotel in the heart of the city on a tree lined quiet street.

The add on breakfast was very nice and a value for the money. The location was perfect near all the sights. The parking was on site and convenient if booked in advance.

Lovely hotel with Pan Asian restaurant

Studley hosts the wonderful Orchid Restaurant, beautiful food, great ambiance and respectful staff. Studley is ideally located for everything around Harrogate, a well run boutique hotel with super bar and restaurant.

I have stayed here now three or four times over the years, clearly I enjoy it and its location. The rooms however are starting to look a little tired, carpets, general decor needs some updating nothing major just a little facelift…

Harrogate is lovely (our first stay), and we were lucky in our pick for the hotel (excellent food).

Staff were motivated to make our stay very comfortable. This is obviously the ethos of the hotel.

The layout of the hotel is governed by the physical building. The restaurant position is prioritized over the residential, but this did not detract from our stay!

Parking on site (albeit £12 for the pleasure), quick check-in, spacious, comfortable and well appointed room (Executive room) with complimentary mineral water, Yorkshire tea (the best), chocolate drinks, milk, biscuits etc, etc. Good wi-fi too.

A thrumming noise could be heard quite clearly in our room, well into the night, but wasn't there first thing in the early morning. It started up again around 7am-ish. We assumed it was an extractor fan to the kitchens, maybe (?) Not overly bothering to be perfectly honest, but worth noting.

Overall it was only average but had the potential to be so much more.

The hotel was ideally located and could be so much better. Staff were friendly. The restaurant was an added bonus, with nice food and attentive staff.

The decor was old and dated, carpets from the car park to reception needs cleaning/replacing. Breakfast was not required. They had said we were upgraded to a suite, but the room was very basic and needs redecorating.

Great place to stay in Harrogate

Easy checking, good location, spacious well appointed rooms, excellent Orchid restaurant with Oriental theme. Bathroom large and well appointed with lots of towels, well stocked complimentary coffee tea ration in small kitchenette in room.

Another nice weekend stay

The location and onsite parking is primarily what leads me to book this hotel each August. A small fridge in room would make this even better. Large comfortable bed. Ceiling fan made it bearable in heat. Staff friendly and ample tea and coffee facility in room. A quiet location ensures a good sleep.

This hotel is quite centrally located - it was an easy walk into the centre of Harrogate. The parking arrangements worked out well and everyone was friendly. The room had a spacious modern bathroom. The hotel has a comfortable well cared for vibe.

Very welcoming, great value and excellent restaurant in the heart of Harrogate

All hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly pre and during our stay. Great position in Harrogate, beds extremely comfortable, parking onsite tight for large cars but adequate and needs to be booked, breakfast very nice with full cooked English and other options plus fruit yogurts toast etc.

Great location but a bit disappointed with the size of the room.

Great location and staff.

Room 31 was rather small. Bathroom which only had a shower was minute. Friends had room 35 which had a bath was a much nicer size. Got an email the night before we arrived saying the lift was out of order which meant we had to climb at least two flights of stairs when two of our party have serious health problems ( which I had previously contacted the hotel about)

Quaint, quirky, individual - with a Thai twist in the basement!

Love this place. I'd eaten at the Orchid restaurant a few times over the years but never stayed at the hotel. I really like how close it is to the exhibition centre, town and pubs. It's a little quaint and quirky too, which I also like; I prefer unique and individual hotels to the bigger, corporate ones. The room was great. Good view, comfy, bathroom well appointed and shower very good. This was a solo business trip but next time I'll come with my partner!

Convenient location, great staff & room but sort out the curtains!

Receptionist was extremely friendly and diligent. Breakfast was good value and tasty (would recommend). Parking arrangements were fine. Room had lots of space and amenities, including fresh milk. Beds were comfortable.

Curtains do not fit the window so light streams through the window to ensure you cannot get a good night's sleep. Would have preferred a room that doesn't overlook the bins.

Parking was a bonus but a bit tight, especially if you have a big car and get there after everyone else has parked. There was some loud music and very noisy guests that kept us awake until after midnight.
