Reception staff were lovely, courteous and ready to help. There were 2 members of staff at the check-in desk at the scheduled checking-in time. This was very wise by the hotel and allowed queuing guest to be booked-in quickly. Some hotels only have one member of staff at this busy time and when guest might have travelled most of the day to get there, they maybe tired and just want to get into their room ASAP.
I liked that the hotel has ample parking space and charged at a reasonable rate per day - £12 (please don't consider raising this rate as it's part of the attraction for choosing this hotel in Harrogate.
I like the location of the hotel which is close enough to the town centre, but just a little out to be quiet.
The outside front lawn is a good first impression for the hotel, and especially during the summer when they put the deck-chairs out. You should consider how to incorporate the hotels bar to serving guest outside - this would add to the guests experience and hotel cash intake as guest are more inclined to stay onsite longer.
I didn't see any clear indication on the shower to display which direction to turn the tap for hot water and which for cold - I had to guess.
I enjoyed the rain shower over the bath, but I'm not a fan of the half-shower guard which allows water to bounce of me onto the bathroom floor - should consider a full bath length curtain (washable) which the cleaners can check and change regularly as required or at room change-over.
And lastly, the hash browns at breakfast could be better - just saying.

Somewhere more obvious/more accessible for kettle & tea making facilities plus more than 1 tea bag would be appreciated.

The parking situation is very bad £12 per car to park every transaction you make has gratuity added too it a message on the bar saying it saves you looking for change so we charge it every time is very demeaning
