A fabulous gem of a hotel

It was so clean, stuff were nice, many options for breakfast and the food was so good at the restaurant.

A good rest on our bike trip

We felt welcome, beautiful rooms, covered and secure bicycle garage, great breakfast on the terrace

The A/C could only work with a tilted window which is an ecological nonsense. Quite far from the lake by bike

Staff was the best! Breakfast delicious and varied. Convenient location. Loved the people of the city. The mayor was super, Eric at the museum exceptional.

Was a bit hot in the room at times. The provided portable ac unit wasn't much help, but we didn't complain.

Very warm and welcoming staff, and the evening meal in the restaurant was exceptional, as was the service from the waitresses. The receptionist was very smiley and happy and allowed us to park our bikes in their garage. Highly recommended.

Old European Charm in a unique European Village. A perfect location and easy transportation.

Beautiful Old World European Charm is found in this small town village of Hochst. Spectacular European breakfast with a great variety of Meat, Cheeses, Fruits Breads and Coffees. Comfortable rooms and a perfect set-up for a large family getaway as common area is a great gathering place outside the main rooms. Climate control in the room is Excellent as well as the water temperatures. Staff is very accommodating, friendly, and helpful. The Restaurant offers a budget friendly "MENU" daily, as well as a highly recommended main dining with items and charm of Old World Europe. Love the place and can't wait to return again.

Bathroom size is very adequate, but shower is a bit small (yet provides its utility as such). Everything else was just fine.

A great hotel with a very nice restarant and breakfast.

Very warm welcome at the reception, although we arrived a bit late we missed the dinner reservation on the first night. The breakfast was very good with a great selection and choice. The dib=nner was fantastic on the second night and disappointed that we missed the 1st night. The beds were comfortable and would use this hotel again.

Our room was on the top floor so had the sloping roof, which meant I hit my head and the room was bit dark for me but no complaints

What a bell!

The bell on the church in front of the hotel is ringing every hour starting at six in the morning until 21.00.

Far away yet easy access by bus to Bregenzer Festspiele

Restaurant serves very good food and seems to be frequented by locals. Our room offered ample storage space, a desk, balcony and fan. We were able to catch a bus across the street which took us directly to Bregenz for the Festspiele and back to the hotel afterwards (free local transportation with your opera ticket).

Location is somewhat far away from Bregenz. Our hotel with restaurant seemed to be the highlight of the area. More traffic getting in and out of Bregenz than you might expect when traveling by car.

Perfect stop on our cycling holiday

Very satisfying stay

Perfect restaurant with a really tasty kitchen and kind staff. Also great breakfasts. Everything was clean and the hotel staff vacuumed carpets every day. Perfect light shading.

The bathroom can be a little bit bigger, sometimes it is more complicated to go out of the shower due the space, but nothing really problematic. And our big cat toilet we placed there didn't helped for sure 😉.
