Exceptional

The room was clean and satisifatory, the view extraordanory. We ate in the restaruant one evening and the food was delicious. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

We took the bus to the Bregenz Festival because it would not be possible to enjoy the evening and drive. However, we had to wait over two hours to get a taxi back to the hotel. I would recommend that in the future if one stays at this hotel, either have a designated driver or try to reserve one of the few available taxis.

The location, the restaurant in the evening and the amazing view of the lake. The indoor swimming pool was very nice too. The staff were very friendly and helpful too.

Bad

The view was nice

Unfriendly stuff, we were sick after eating at the restaurant and they denied telling it was children fault. Children were perfectly healthy.. I can see if my kids vomit and they could have also seen in the bedroom.. the responsible of the kitchen was so aggressive that they felt to write an excuse letter in which they were telling sorry for his behaviour, but they have given to another family.. WiFi was not working and our room was just above the reception.. even WhatsApp call were impossible to do.. never again

Good but could be excellent

Staff were very nice from the moment we arrived. Location is stunning with amazing views. Room was clean and well maintained and the bed comfortable. Swimming pool is a nice place to spend a bit of time. .

We had dinner in the hotel. It was nice to eat but found it expensive for what it was. (Wiener Schnitzel and a few boiled potatoes with garlic) The breakfast left a lot to be desired. No glasses for the juice without asking, no hot food except boiled and scrambled egg. Limited selection of other foods. While the room was clean and tidy, the bed wasn't made up and there was only one pillow. Not the end of the world but when chain hotels all over the world can manage it, you'd hope a small hotel offering the personal touch would manage the same. All things considered, it's hard to see how it's a 4* establishment but would be fantastic with a few minor changes. I enjoyed my stay but the food situation spoiled it a little bit.

On top of the world.

Breakfast was plentiful with products from local businesses and farms. Our view over the Boden See, from the balcony, was amazing. You will need a car but everything is within a short drive. The front desk staff is super friendly and very helpful.

Wi-Fi from our room was slow and sometimes did not connect. If you moved to another location it would get better but was still slow.

Our stay was very short but the views, the hospitality and the food were superb.

My room ceilings were low and the safe was too small for anything much bigger than a wallet and passport, but I would go back in a heartbeat.

Stunning views overlooking Lake Constance

The location is stunning!! Terrace overlooking Lake Constance was fabulous for afternoon drinks and breakfast. The lady on reception was outstanding with her customer service.

Restaurant and bar closed on Sunday evening/ night so you will need to make other arrangements for food.

Expensive for the service offered.

The location

The service. Even though within breakfast time, fruits for cereal was out and I asked for it. It was as I ask for additional favor. The service staff with beard told me he can do it for me as an extra service( that was his reaction), in the end there was no fruits and I waited there for nothing. It was quote annoying and does not fit with 4 star hotel picture.

It was a short stay half way to our final destination and we are really happy we chose this hotel. the view was amazong,

Beautiful view and nature around the hotel. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the dinner was absolutely amazing. The terrace of the restaurant is really something :) Very kind and helpful staff.

Unfortunatelly, we came during the really hot summer day and there was no possibility of using any air conditioning. It was really hot in the room even at night. But as the receptionist explained to me, this is not typical weather here in the 800 metres high. I must add we would appreciate richer breakfast.

Exceptional

The quiet place on the hill, 10 mns away from the lake side. I felt really welcome from the check-in and the staff very helpful with the luggage. Nice walks around especially if you have dogs. The room was big and comfortable, extremely clean with lots of brightness and a balcony. Big swimming pool with a lake view and nice sauna.The food was excellent with lots of choice of local recipes. And the staff were wearing local outfit which takes you in the heart of the Austrian culture. I highly recommend this place.

This is a great hotel.

We had the studio apartment, which is located in a separated building near the main hotel. The apartment is equipped with large panoramic windows and a small balcony allowing you to enjoy the spectacular view of the lake. The studio room is quite spacious, with enough room. Cleanliness is top. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast was very good. Wifi connection is good. Covid19 related - we were requested to show vaccination certificate at the check in. Inside the hotel, the staff and the guests are not wearing masks.

We couldn't find the kitchenette at first. No wonder, it's inside a closet! It's super tiny with no room to fix an actual dinner, or even cut vegetables. Next to the "so called" kitchenette, there's additional closet which is practically useless, because only the vacuum is stored inside. Too bad they didn't use the whole space to fix a proper kitchenette. Nevertheless, we would stay again.

Great views and lovely rooms.

Stunning views, very nice clean and large room with lovely balcony. Very friendly staff that make you feel very much at home. When we travel between UK and Italy, we make sure that the route allows us to stop here every time.

Breathtaking view paired with friendly staff and locally sourced food.

Spectacular view from the hotel, both from the room, and from the breakfast/dining hall/spa! Another great suprise was that most of the food offered is sourced locally from farmers and the like, which guarantee a high quality. There is a bus that stop right next to the hotel, which makes reaching the centre of Bregenz much easier. I stayed at a guest house at a leasurely 2 minute walking distance, which is a great choice for someone who really wants peace and quiet.

My stay at the hotel was very short, but could nonethless find no downsides to the hotel.
