Superb

Welcoming staff, nice breakfast and cozy room which even had a view of Pfänder mountain! It was free tea and coffee in the hall just outside our room. Unfortunately we didn't get to try the restaurant, but that gives us a good reason to come back another time.

A pleasant night on the Bodensee

Very pretty. Convenient for a water cruise we went on. Breakfast was a good continental and lovingly prepared by the owner. The property has clearly renovated its rooms recently and so they are warm, clean, and comfortable. While the rooms are modern the old characteristics of the building remain in place so you enjoy the old as well.

The restaurant was closed the week we arrived which meant no opportunity to try their brew, or grab a quick bite. Despite some okay local options we wish this had been sign-posted and options were given to at least grab a bottle or few and take it up to our rooms.

Liked the people and the building very much, but could do so much better

The Gasthof itself is a beautiful old & traditional building. Owner & Staff extremely helpful and very friendly. Breakfast is good, the food in the restaurant traditional Austrian fare. Large room. Addition of portable fan very welcome. Good transport links (bus and train station 5/10 mins walk respectively). Lakeside also 10 mins walk.

It would be so much nicer if the bedroom furniture (mid-century if one wants to be polite) would match the style of the building. Accepted this is personal taste. Bathroom in Room no 6 is set in a glass cubicle which may be modern but does not give enough privacy. Switching on the bathroom light at night illuminates the entire room. Addition of mirror in bedroom/Table lamp at desk would be welcome. Too pricey for what's on offer (Festival related I assume).

Gastvrijheid, dicht bij de snelweg, fijne ruime kamer en prima eten na een dag reizen!

Bed was naar onze zin iets te zacht en er was sprake van een beetje kuilvorming. Dus investeren in steviger matrassen en bedbodem zou het helemaal afmaken. Verder alles prima!!

Für div. Freizeitaktivitäten in der Umgebung war es für uns eine sehr gute Lösung.

Frühstück war nicht inkludiert (vorher bekannt). Die angebotene Lösung in einem nahegelegenen Bäckereicafe zu frühstücken war für uns absolut okay. Unser Zimmer war originell und geräumig im 2.Stock. Die integrierte Glaskabine mit Dusche und WC/Waschbecken ist eine gute Lösung in dem ansonsten historischen Brauereigasthof. Essen in einem urigen Gastraum im EG war perfekt. Tee oder Kaffee zur Selbstbedienung für zwischendurch ist eine gute Idee! Gute Parkmöglichkeiten.

Wir haben schon für einen weiteren Aufenthalt gebucht :-)

Alles war gut: Zimmer war geräumig, Parkplatz direkt am Haus und groß, Chef und Personal waren alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, Frühstück war ok (kleines Buffet - aber es waren auch um diese Jahreszeit nicht viele Gäste vor Ort), schöne Speisekarte, hauseigenes Bier.

Unsere Betten waren bequem, haben aber etwas gequietscht. Der Brotkorb beim Frühstück könnte mehr Auswahl bieten.

Perfekter Zwischenhalt am Bodensee

Sehr schönes Haus, tolle Lage, mit Fingerspitzengefühl Modernes in Historisches integriert, regionale Gerichte, gut frequentiert - auch von Stammgästen aus der Umgebung, lebhafte Atmosphäre- keine Beschallung- reichhaltiges Frühstück- sehr gutes Bier! Wir haben uns wieder sehr wohl gefühlt!

Dem forschen burschikosen Herrn an der Rezeption empfehlen wir dringend eine Fortbildung in Diskretion, Datenschutz und Umgang mit Gästen- 😎😉😏

Einfach nur gemütlich

Ein älteres Haus mit tollem Ambiente und einer gemütlichen Wirtsstube mit leckerem Essen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Den Bodensee kann man fußläufig erreichen. Parkplätze direkt hinterm Haus. Trotz der Lage direkt an der Hauptstrasse könnte ich nichts negatives über den Lärm berichten.

Nie mehr dorthin....

Am Sontag abends wurden wir praktisch nach dem Essen um 21.00 h aus dem Restaurant vertrieben. Es gab auch keinen Raum wo noch geschäftliche Themen besprochen werden konnten. Es kam zu einer Kontroverse, wobei der Chef meinte: "Wir sind ein Gasthof, kein Hotel." Zimmer in Ordnung, Essen ausgezeichnet, Servic mittel bis misearbel.

Gelungener Kurzurlaub

Das Frühstück war ausreichend . Das Essen in der gemütlichen Gastwirtschaft war ausgezeichnet. Ausflugsziele wie zum bzw. der Pfänder Bregenz und Lindau kann man sehr gut mit dem Bus /Bahn erreichen.

Ein Vergrößerungsspiegel Bz. zum Rasieren wäre gut.

Herzlich, lecker und genialer Kaffee! Wenn wir wieder auf der Durchreise sind, unser Hotel der Wahl.

Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig! Bester Kaffee im ganzen Urlaub! Kleines, familiäres Hotel, herzliche Begrüßung und Verabschiedung. Liegt etwas am Berg - Bodensee fußläufig erreichbar (10-15 Minuten) Angegliederte Gastronomie war sehr lecker, eigenes Bier - Reservierung war nötig. (Diesen Tipp haben wir auch vom Vermieter erhalten)

Uns hat so gut wie alles gefallen - wissen muss man, dass die Zimmer oben unterm Dach liegen und es keinen Aufzug gibt. Balkenhöhe im Gang oben - eher nieder - mein Mann 1,83cm hat sich den Kopf gestoßen.

Die gute Lage und das Partnerhotel Wellenhof,(Gaststätte Reiner hatte Ruhetag) mit dem sehr leckeren Essen und sehr freundlichen Personal.

Das Zimmer ist sehr klein, für eine oder zwei Nächte aber völlig ausreichend.

Sehr zentrale Lage und gute Verbindung nach Bregenz, Erreichbarkeit der öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel sehr gut. Frühstück mit frischem Kaffee und nett angerichtetem kleinen Büffet.

In die „Jahre“ gekommener Gasthof dem ein bisschen mehr Hege und Pflege gut tun würde. Die räumlich großzügigen Zimmer mit kleiner Naßzelle sind einfach eingerichtet.

Gemütliche Unterkunft in guter Lage mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Ich fühlte mich in diesem privat geführten und offensichtlich traditionsreichen Gasthof von Anfang an willkommen. Der Umgang seitens der Inhaber sowie der Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter war sehr herzlich und freundlich. Mit meinem geräumigen Zimmer und dem dazu gehörigen Bad war ich äußerst zufrieden. Das Frühstücksangebot enthielt alles, was ich brauchte; an sonnigen Tagen konnte man es auch im gemütlichen Außenbereich genießen. Im Restaurant werden schmackhafte und hochwertig zubereitete Speisen serviert; eine rechtzeitige Tischreservierung ist aufgrund der guten Auslastung sehr zu empfehlen. Für Autofahrer stehen genügend kostenlose Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Der ca. zehnminütige Fußweg vom und zum Bahnhof sowie zum Bodensee ist akzeptabel und man kann dabei die schöne Alpenlandschaft genießen. Ich würde jederzeit wieder dort Urlaub machen.

Dass ich in einem altehrwürdigen Gasthaus nicht die modernen Hotelstandards wie z.B. Fahrstuhl oder Klimaanlage erwarten konnte, war mir bereits bei der Buchung klar. So gesehen habe ich nichts vermisst. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis der Unterbringung ist für diese äußerst beliebte Urlaubsregion wirklich sehr gut!

Essen im Restaurant war super lecker

Frühstück war mittelmäßig. Hausgäste durften sich nicht ohne voranmeldung in den Biergarten setzen. Man wurde plaziert. Wehe man betrat den Gastraum oder den Biergarten ohne Anmeldung. Beim Frühstück wurde man angemacht mit den Worten , ich habe auch nur zwei Hände, wir gingen dann zum platzhirsch essen. War super lecker und sie ließen sogar die Küche länger offen für uns. Wir waren 8 erwachsene da kann man dann richtig verdienen.
