Perfect Hotel for the Dregenzer Festspiele, right by the concert venue. Incredibly welcoming staff, very well organised. Great breakfast, nice rooms, all the amenities. Highly recommend.

Some hooks in the bathroom to hang towels on. USB charging points that don't with off with the lights at night :)

Comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent and the hostess was superb.

The night shift front desk was wholly unhelpful with a request. We had a long day, it was pouring rain and we just wanted a pizza. He told us to use an app which was not helpful to us as guests since the app did not work. He seemed to not care. However, the person we checked in with and the woman running the breakfast were excellent. We did not appreciate the parking fee.

Great location, fantastic breakfast buffet and very friendly staff. The sauna was a nice bonus and dinner at the restaurant was also very good.

The bathroom had poor ventilation which meant the tiles in the bathroom weren't as clean as they could have been.

great location, right by the lake and edge of town with plenty of shops and restaurants. Lovely rooms and good breakfast. Hotel spotless , great showers large TV, adjacent to a casino if you like that sort of thing. Lovely walks along the lake and in to town, parking right outside .

had some weird meet and greet guy, he was lovely but very strange to have someone greeting you and taking you to a table to check in , maybe it's a new thing. Sauna did not work, was reported by another guest but we left before it was fixed.

Good size room, we loved the terrace. Staff was very friendly, special shout out to Cedric in the bar - thanks for the master cocktails! Buffet breakfast - lots of choice, maybe salad bar could have more options.

The restaurant tables outside were a little bit too close to each other as it was difficult to get into the seat without disturbing other guests, or being interrupted by others trying to get into the seat behind.

Great welcome by staff. Location by the lake nice, and just a short walk to town.

View from our room was in the opposite direction to the lake, and was less than beautiful. The room was rather expensive, for what it was.

- Excellent location - Most people from the staff are very friendly - Some rooms have a nice balcony - Nice to have a free entrance to fitness, pool and sauna

- The parking place is small and very far from the entrance (although expensive 8EUR/day) with a very complicated entrance card system (needs "recharging" at the reception after each parking entrance) - WiFi was not working for several days (I would expect a 24/7 contract with an IT company) - There is just one small and slow lift for the whole hotel (insufficient, long waiting times) - There are very long corridors, you may happen to walk a lot to get to the room from the lift - Our request to have two rooms close to each other was ignored (although it could have been satisfied by offering us another room type) - Noise from the street can be heard in the rooms if there are some events outside - Often queues at the reception (just one person there) - Troubles with getting gluten-free food for breakfast although ordered and promised before we arrived (we had to wait for up to 30min to get gluten-free bread each morning and got just 2 very small pieces) - In conclusion, the services do not correspond to 4 stars

Loved the position of the hotel, within easy walk of the Lake, train station and restaurants.

The only thing to not like was the paid parking, which was hard to work out how to pay!

Fantastic location right next to the stage on the lake (Seebühne), modern architecture, cool design, delicious breakfast, friendly staff.

Despite being at full occupation because of the music festival, the staff were absolutely inspirational. Nothing was too much trouble, every service was personalised, nobody had to wait too long and everything with a smile. They really lifted a nice 4 star property into a 5 star. Location is absolutely perfect too.

Please put some hooks in the rooms to hang towels, bathrobes, coats...

The location is SUPER EASY. If you are traveling by train and you want to go to the casino and the opera, this is the perfect space. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. One night we had drinks at the bar and the our server was very accommodating of my cocktail requests. We had breakfast one day and I'd say it was both delicious and relatively expensive. Overall the service was fantastic. Oh and the lake is pretty and conveniently walkable. Thank you Grand Hotel Bregenz!!

Frankly, I felt underdressed. We were traveling in summer and I did not bring any fancy clothes. This seems like a fancy pants kind of place, where you might dress like 007 or a soprano diva. We were just the trashy-casual Americans. Sorry about that, Grand Hotel. Also, we did not go to the casino or the opera, which I feel was a missed opportunity. Definitely plan ahead!

no beach access despite being listed as beach access. the closest beach access is 3/4 of a mile away and is just slippery steps into the harbor.

The hotel is close to the city center, the harbor and the train station. The hotel staff was friendly and the room comfortable.
