Good location

Good location and friendly staff. Big room

Not really worth what I paid comparatively to what you can get in Bali. Everything was very outdated, hard to lock windows, cold water shower, a bit run down.

We came for 2 nights and stayed for 7. I would recommend and I would come back.

The pool was clean, the beer was cold, the bed was comfortable, water is hot for showers, it is right on the beach. Snorkelling, face in the water 3 minutes and saw a turtle swim past, corral to the left past the big tree. Food is good. Staff are friendly. When we blew the breaker 2x’s they were still friendly. Quiet. Good location to explore from.

Stairs were slippery when wet, partner freaked me out when he fell downstairs. We started out in room 3, which was wonderful then immediately upgraded to room 7 which was also wonderful but could have used a few extra ‘touches’ to make it special. For example, a nice towel rack that wasn’t broken ( we traded ours), the light in the ‘kitchen’ did not work, a deck chair on the balcony would have been nice, when we used the room cleaning service (1x) it was the bare minimum. Art was ‘better’ in other rooms, bedding and artificial orchids were found in closet instead of displayed. Tiny things, really.

A great place to stay!!

I love the friendliness of the staff. They were so happy to help with absolutely any needs. They were Sweet and even lovely to have a friendly chat with. I also love the convenient location close to the main shops ! I love being able to just get some snorkelling gear from the reception and I ate a few of my meals here and the food was great!! lived the little rooftop too for watching the sunset over my agung with a beer! I stayed for three nights. Could've easily stayed more. I was in room four downstairs which was enormous and the air conditioning was fantastic. I would only note that being on the ground floor makes you more susceptible to mosquitoes which seem to keep getting into the room no matter what I did to try to keep them out so I probably even suggest to staff bed netting for the rooms downstairs. But otherwise perfect and I will definitely return again.

only as mentioned above, just somehow mosquitoes kept getting into the room even with the doors shut and Aircon on so I think some netting for the bed would be great so that you don't get eaten alive during the night! bathrooms are pretty basic but still very good and functional !!

Nice place

Nice place with very friendly and helping staff. Best omelet I’ve encountered in Bali. Great snorkelling just outside the door and shops, restaurants in a walking distance.

The Wi-Fi wasn’t working most of the time, and TV as well, since it’s dependant on Wi-Fi.

We had a lovely time in Amed, great spot for walking the beach and shops.

There is so much potential here, the small gardens were so well maintained, the rooms such as generous size for the price and the pool had a shallow end which is often hard to come by in diving areas.

The rooms just need a little bit of love, a new coat of paint, cleaning the fan in the bathroom, if a window/air vent could be added in the bathrooms then the musty damp smell would have a chance to air out rather than covering it with cleaning spray. We had to ask the staff not to spray anymore air freshening products and after airing the room it was fine.

Brilliant position for the price. Highly recommend. Lovely staff. Our unit was right on the pool and beach right there. End of village and east walk to restaurants either way on the beach or along the road. Easy smaller breakfast each morning which we included to make it easy. 0

Amazing Beachfront Stay with Stunning Sunrise and Sunset Views

I had a truly unforgettable experience staying at this hotel. Located right by the beach, it offered breathtaking views of both the sunrise and sunset every single day. Waking up to the sound of the waves and watching the sun rise over the ocean was the perfect way to start each morning. In the evening, the sunsets were absolutely magical – a perfect backdrop for a relaxing walk along the beach. The room was clean, cozy, and just steps away from the shore. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. I also loved how peaceful and quiet the surroundings were – it felt like a private piece of paradise. Highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a beautiful beachfront escape with stunning natural views!

Location was good, close to the beach and shops.

Room was very old, smells bad and the shower wasn't working. Also the toilet is broken. Wouldn't come again.

Beautiful short stay in Paradise!

The room exceeded my expectations. It was very spacious, clean, and we stayed upstairs which lead to a large balcony for watching the sunset and enjoying the views. Right on the beach and just outside were cafes to walk to. My husband and son enjoyed snorkeling in front of the hotel.

The best view in Amed

The best view from the terrace. To the right side of the hotel is a rather boring reef, but you can meet turtles and angelfish. Six years ago there were a lot of baby reef sharks, but now there are none. A beautiful and colorful reef further to the right, in the Jemeluk Bay, there are many different corals and fish.

The staff were great , very friendly . The location was fantastic , right on the beach . Nice pool area. Great views.

I had to change rooms halfway through my stay due to a unknown issue with my planned room. That was ok but I had to move out at 8am and couldn't get into my room until after 2 pm . That left me without a room for a good deal of the day. i had paid for the stay so very inconvenient and unprofessional by the management . No apology . The bathroom was not great in the next room .

The location was good 👍

The room had no bar fridge, The bed mattress was hard as a rock. The A/C needs to be upgraded. The bathroom had a very strong, unpleasant smell from water or drainage. I hope Alam corrects these things in the future as the views are great and the location is close to shops and restaurants.

Bargain stay in Amed

Great spot to stay in Amed Not far from the Japanese wreck, underwater temple and some of the best snorkelling/diving I’ve ever seen. Basic but huge rooms. Nice little pool. Shampoo and soap in bathrooms

The hotel is located at the beach with the most stunning view for mount Agung, and the most beatiful reef is just 20 meters to the right. The staff is amazing! They are happy to help with any need. I felt very comfortable :) you can find easily the best cafe Rimba near the hotel, some beautiful local shops and everything you need.

Im so lucky

Beautiful view from balcony we can see the sunset and mount agung it was amazing. In the front of hotel we can do snorkeling and I was see 2 turtles I was so lucky ☺️☺️ and the pool is nice. The staff always friendly and help me when Im need something.

Location was very convenient. You can spot the sunset and there is many diving spots around. The staff is very kind, they helped us coordinate scooter and transportation to move to Sidemen. Loved our flower arrangement for our Anniversary Celebration! Communication before and during our stay was great!

The place is very Instagramable, with a very clean and nice pool, we enjoyed the sunset and beers while watching the sunset. I took a lot of photos for my Instagram and created a lot of memories. The staff were the best, very attentive and friendly. We got a free breakfast as appreciation for posting in social media, and the food was delicious, I loved the smoothie bowl.

was a very pleasant experience to spend my holiday in Amed with Alam Bali. They really offered qualified service. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the pool, cuz we could enjoy the sea breeze and the stunning sunset while enjoying our beer at the pool. The smiling staff made us very comfortable to stay there, they helped us genuinely. Will be back again.

Exceptional

They treat me like we're family, it was an incredible stay with Alam Bali Beach Resort Amed. What is special about this accommodation is its location which is superb. They have the best view in Amed, Mount Agung, sunset, ocean, and a very beautiful underwater view. The room was also spacious, very good for a family traveler like me. They took care of 2 of my children while we were snorkeling, and our kids loved to play with them. My kids made friends there haha. Overall, i am so grateful to enjoyed my holiday with my family in Amed, thanks to all the friendly staff of Alam Bali Beach Resort Amed

This is my second time staying with Alam Bali, they are always excellent. This time I stayed in a different room (second floor) and the view was amazing. The staff was very friendly as always, and they helped with everything that I requested. The best thing for me was the location of the hotel, which is very strategic for view, and the distance to the nearest best cafes and restaurants in Amed. Oh, one more thing, the hotel was very very clean. I was amazed at their standard of cleanliness, and I really appreciate it. For sure if I travel to Amed again in the future, I will stay with Alam Bali again.

Since the location is very strategic, there was live music nearby. Although it is not every day, some tourists probably do not like it. But for me, it is a good thing, because I love music. It is just subjective to the guests.

It was beyond my expectation, It was amazing.

I had a very unique experience with Alam Bali Beach Resort. Their location is probably the best in Amed where I could see and feel the majesty of Mount Agung and the soothing sunset over the ocean from my balcony. It was beyond that, I can not explain it but for me, it was different and special, I just felt it. Thanks to all the very friendly staff, Komang, Putri, and all who made me feel like home there, they are my family now. They helped me to find a bicycle and arranged a tour exactly like what my girlfriend & I requested. Also thanks to Nyoman, their driver who shared a lot of interesting Balinese cultures and stories with us. I promise I will be back at Alam Bali Beach Resort again next year.

Their room was full when I wanted to extend my stay, so I had to move to another hotel for my last 2 days in Amed. just a little bit of trouble for us to change hotel, but we understand that this was not their mistake.

I can't say anything else, this was incredible.

I have stayed in Amed several times, but for me, this hotel was the best hotel in Amed so far. I love the staff very much, as they all really know how to make me and my partner happy, they prepared everything with heart. The pool with panoramic ocean view and the mountain make it complete, no doubt. The room is also very large, and to be honest the cleanliness was even beyond my expectations for a hotel in Amed, they were excellent.

I would say nothing bad for this hotel, I love it and for sure will come again next summer.

Devastated to leave, and can’t wait to come back.

Honestly we have no notes. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind and accommodating. They helped us arrange a scooter, laundry and snorkeling and sailing excursions. At this price point you honestly can’t beat the location or the views from the rooms - we are talking panoramic sea views and view of Mount Agung. Pool is beautiful and you’re pretty much a few steps from the ocean from the moment you wake up. PS, if you come across two little ginger kittens, they might hiss a bit but they love a snack 🐈 . The shower pressure was great and the water was hot, the A/C was cold and so were the drinks from their fridge downstairs.
