Nice place in Amed

The location just in front of the beach and the volcano view. We could snorkel literally 5’ by foot from the hotel ! The staff was very kind and help us to arrange a taxi to Ubud - thank you again! They gave us a delicious home made snack in the middle of the afternoon

Not really the hotel’s fault, but there was quite some garbage at the beach. It would give better impression if all hotels would work together to clean the beach. They rent snorkelling equipment but the price is not indicated. We only had paid 50k each but actually thought it was for free. Not a real complain, more like this could be improved;)

best stay in amed, good food, staff and location

second time staying here. each time for about 5 days. Great big spacious rooms, good fan and AC. Very close to most parts of Amed. Tons of food walking distance. Owners and staff are A++, good food and snacks throughout the day. Plenty of parking. This is my fav spot in Amed. The views especially from upstairs is phenomenal. Cant wait to come back.

Shower head is a pour out of a "JUG" not a traditional spray nozzle which is a big hard water. That would be the only thing. I wish they would include free snorkel equipment, but its the same price as anywhere else to rent. Pricer than last time but worth it.

Wonderful treasure right on the beach

The location was excellent, staff wonderful and the outlook directly over the sea just beautiful. Breakfasts were delicious and they even gave complimentary afternoon tea!

Bedside lamps would have been great. The lighting in the room at the night is cool.. I would have preferred a gentle warm yellow light. Just small things but they would improve it a lot.

You have to pay at the property and it’s cash inky!

Location is incredible, right on the beach. The room was basic but fine.

We didn’t have any hot water during our stay, while our friends in another room did. The staff weren’t very helpful, and it was only cash to pay even though we weren’t notified before hand.

Quaint little guesthouse

It's not a flash resorty place, it's a guesthouse. But it's super clean, great location with lots of local places to eat. Yummy breakfast, comfy bed - firm, but I prefer a firm bed. No road noise, Lie in bed and listen to the ocean! And you're really welcome and well looked after!

Some milk with the morning tea and coffee would be nice, but it's okay because I bought some from the supermarket, 2 minutes away

Great little Guesthouse

The Guesthouse is right on the beach and central so there are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The room was massive with a king size bed, the bed was really comfy. The AC worked well and it was really hot when I was there. The breakfast was a typical free breakfast you get in Bali, good portion size for me and delicious.

The shower - there is no shower head, it is a pipe so it's like showering under a hose. The water is hot though. This part is specific to me only so may not be an issue for other people - if you like a bit of privacy make sure you book the upstairs rooms. I booked downstairs thinking I'd like to be on the beach but there are a lot of people around. As a female solo traveller I didn't feel comfortable so ended up leaving after only 1 night. Again this is my problem only and it hasn't impacted my score I just wanted to let others know so they could take it into account. The Guesthouse was booked out so I couldn't move upstairs. I would stay here again but I'd book upstairs.

Location is great. There are plenty of restaurants and stores in a walking distance. The staff are well connected. If you want a driver to take you anywhere or need to do any water sports or activities you can just ask them and they will arrange it for you. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast options were decent as well. The property has good speed internet.

Breakfast from selection - convenient for vegetarians. Beautiful room with a great sea view. Coffee and tea permanently provided for free. sunbeds provided at the hotel. Very close to beautiful snorkeling spots. Restaurants close on the main road. The hotel let me park our car at the place one more night when we were not guest of the hotel anymore!

Best place in all of Bali! The greatest view you can ever get from the 2nd floor with the volcano on yhe left and ocean in front. Super nice & helpful staff. We loved our stay here so much and can't wait to come back

If you're looking for the best quiet place in Bali, go to the Amed and stay here in De Adema. We decided to stay here longer ( I think many guests do it) because we fell in love with these amazing views on volcano and snorkelling with turtles and fish. Delicious breakfast, which you are able to book till 12 o'clock (great choice for a late person). Cleaning is everyday, no need to ask for it. Staff is friendly and helpful 🙂

This place is like home to me, I stayed much longer than I intended. You get on the huge balcony and you see the Ocean in front and Agung on the left. Made, Gede and Wayan are so helpful and kind, you dont see that often. I had a fabulous time !

Gede, Wayan, and Made were such wonderful hosts! The room was spotless and had a beautiful view. The breakfasts were delicious. The guesthouse is in a great spot with easy access to snorkeling and many warungs. Gede, Wayan, and Made helped us with any questions we had and helped arrange many things such as laundry and a driver. The driver they arranged, Wayan, was also fantastic. He picked us up in Ubud, drove us to various snorkeling spots in Amed during our stay, and then drove us to Menjangan. So kind and helpful.

Everything was great - the only small thing I can think of is fitted bottom sheets would be great. Overall no negatives, would strongly recommend this place.

I was sick while I was there and the staff was great with me. The room was very big, seafront and quite close to a few restaurant. they provide you a driver number who was very helpful

Unfortunately if you don't drive a motorbike is very complicated to go around and reach the good point for snorkeling. The same if you want to change restaurant especially for the evening since it's very dark the road. That's not their fault at all

We had an amazing stay with Made, Wayan and Arne. We loved our room on the first floor, the best room where you can see the Mt Agung from your balcony. De'Adema Guesthouse is right on the beach where you can swim and enjoy the best sunsets. We also went snorkelling not far from our place and we saw a turtle. The family can always help you with arranging anything you need or just give you an advise on what to do and where to go. We loved peace and tranquility of Amed so much that we prolonged our stay and we moved to the room downstairs. It was equally amazing, with the difference that instead of looking at Mt Agung, you lie down on a little bed on your terrace and you can look straight at the sea. Thank you for having us and see you again in the future

Feels chills and relax

1. The room so big and clean with great view sunset behind mount Agung and Bali sea. 2. The owner Pak Made and his wife so helpful. 3. You can snorkeling in front of the guesthouse with just going to the right there is so beautiful coral but if you looking great coral and so many different fish you can walk to Jemeluk Beach 15 mins walking distance from guesthouse. 4. you can buy fresh fish from fisherman in front of guesthouse and ask Pak Made cook it (so delish). Everything is so great feels like home and chill and definitely we will come back to Adema for our next holiday ❤

Clean room on the beach

With great pleasure I recommend this guesthouse. The room is very clean with a large window which makes the property bright. I lived in a ground floor room with a terrace a few meters from the beach. Breakfasts are tasty with lots of options. The host is really helpful and kind. Highly recommend.

The location was perfect the bed was like sleeping on a cloud I slept outside on the day bed a couple of nights it was breath taking waking up to the sea Breakfast was light and refreshing especially the fresh juices The staff were amazing Made's wife helped organise our scooter Arnata organised a boat trip around the bays and another to watch the sunset just perfect Also provided for a small fee was snorkelling gear to enjoy the Coral and fish right infront of the gusthouse Recommend staying here we will definitely be back

Amazing few days, will be back!!!

Amazing place. we were treated like family, were invited to take part in a local celebration. We stayed in the best room on the first floor, perfect for sunrise and sunset. Breakfast was brilliant and big portions. Listen to Wade and Wyan for suggestions, they know the best spots for food, turtles, etc. Warung Bobo is great for spotting turtles and listening to live music! Thanks for everything, we will be back! Aniko and Adri

Directly at the beach

The stay at De Adema was very nice. The bed was very comftable. The best was the view from the balcony (we booked the room with balcony which was a little more expensive but we had a great view at the Agung which was really worth it). The De Adema is directly at the beach and you can swim in the ocean. The breakfast was also good. We rented a Scooter for 60k.

We gave our laundry to the staff who brought it to his friends laundry service. When we got back our clothes the smell was really bad and we had to wash it again by hand. This was really enoying.

Lovely guest house, and snorkelling, about 100 metres along the beach, was fantastic.

Wonderful view from 1st floor. Our room overlooked Mr Agung and the sea. Wonderful owners.

Short walk over black pebbles to get to snorkelling spot. Entrance to guest house. However this is a fishing village, so don't expect 5* entrance.
