Aqua Dive resort Amed

It is beautiful - the pool is lovely, the rooms are lovely, and the tinting is nice so you can leave the curtains open in the day. The food was very nice too.

It is not as quiet as some other parts of Amed - a little bird was tapping on its reflection in the mirrored door all night. The stairs up to the rooftop are also a bit treacherous after a Bintang, and there isn’t a lot of room for scooter parking.

I’m really pleased I chose Aqua Dive Resort for our little family mini break. The location was literally perfect, the staff were really lovely and the restaurant was exactly what we needed. The staff went put of their way to help us with a couple of things and with two small children we never felt judged or in the way.

We all slept pretty badly due to the noise outside from the dogs which is totally not the resorts fault but it was amplified by the singular pillow each and the strong smell of cigarette smoke which I think was coming in through a vent in the bathroom from the staff area.

Smaller scale and thus much more cosy. Our kids loved both pools (one for relaxing and the other if no dive lessons are given), we the cottages, the amenities and service / support of Ronald and team. Small summary: - good and spacious cottages aimed at going out of the house - good sized pools and nice relax area (easy to order drinks) - location in the middle of Amed (mini market nearby, ATM, cafe’s, bars, restaurants) - beach a 3 min walk - even for snorkeling trip it is a short walk - restaurant: good quality and wide range of options (breakfast and dinner) - rooftopbar : on our last evening we were at the opening of the rooftopbar, what a view!! Amazing sunset over mount Agung - people - Ronald and team really try to help you out in any way - for those interested: good internet throughout the facilities - we btw went there as a family of 4 (2 small children) and did nothing with the diving part; still had a blast. If we would gave gone diving again we would use this place as well - highly experienced people who want to give you a good experience Overall: highly recommended to stay at!

Nothing to not like. The owner, Ronald, has created an oasis within an oasis. The property is clean and modern, the decor is gorgeous and simple, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and it’s obvious that everyone on the property takes pride in what they do. To add, after a poor experience at a previous dive center, Ronald took the time to work with me, one-on-one towards finishing my open water. He was patient and kind and turned a previously negative experience into a positive one. Very grateful for the experience! Thank you Ronald and the rest of the staff at Aqua Dive Resort for a superior experience.

Nothing.

Very nicely furnished, lovely garden w nice views, very clean and chill. They have their own masaging complex which was very nice to use. very helpful and amazingly positive staff.

kitchen took too long to make some foods and it seemed pizza was from frozen dough. Other foods excellent quality tho. Noise from outiside the street was annoying in the mornings, front glass wall in the room didnt hold back much noise

The location was really good, I liked that it was new and modern. It was clean and I loved the body wash-yummy coconut. Bed was big and comfortable.

The pillows were terrible, I paid for a suite and it was a fair bit of money and the pillows were worse than a cheap hostel. The breakfast wasn’t good, I don’t know why everyone was raving about it- everything had mayonnaise in it which I don’t understand. Why is there yoghurt and mayonnaise in every egg item- I just wanted a normal breakfast. The bathroom didn’t have a door so I was glad I was alone because there’s no privacy really- however the divider is frosted between the bedroom and the bathroom.

My stay at Aqua Dive Centre from start to finish was amazing. The staff were so friendly and Ronald, the owner, really took care of me. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was delicious, they even catered to my vegan needs which was such a bonus. The space itself was amazing, my room was lovely and every morning I woke up to birds chirping which felt magical. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I highly recommend Aqua Dive Centre and I’ll definitely be back to do my Advanced Scuba course with them.

Nice views / backdrop. Resort is new and is pleasant aesthetically with a modern Bali vibe.

We had some noise issues firstly as our bungalow had a shared wall with the neighbouring sound very prominent. Staff kindly moved us to a single bungalow. Unfortunately this was adjacent to a pool / snooker hall and the noise was intrusive until about 2 am. The management of the resort dealt with our concerns personally and very attentively.

Parking space for car limited

Fantastic! Modern, newly built, great pools, amazing views, immaculate grounds and the rooms are very lush clean & comfortable. All of the water is filtered from the restaurant to your room shower/sink, so you can brush your teeth in the sink, wash your hair with less damage, not worry about keeping your mouth closed in the shower and generally just not have to worry about the water! The property is super peaceful the restaurant is an absolute highlight, so fresh, flavourful and an amazing menu it made it so hard for me to eat out as the restaurant is just so good! Best Tuna ive ever had! This resort is very competitively priced for all activies food & spa, it’s not exorbitant resort prices at all and the quality of service& food is elite. Of course it is a Dive facility & altho i did not book for this reason, i ended up going for my first ever dive and it was so fantastic i booked a second! The diving instructor MJ was just fantastic, especially with first timers. Highly highly skilled divers at this resort, i felt so safe throughout the whole experience, even with first timers nerves its an experience not to be missed, the reef & its fishies are breathtaking. The spa is wonderful, great service, super relaxing. The whole place exceeded my expectations. The owners of this resort are actively in the resort, they chat to all the guests, they go out of their way to make your stay magical ( they helped me extend my stay even tho they are fully booked and put me in the suite, which was really going above an beyond) and they treat the staff really well. It was such a pleasure to stay here and i cant wait to stay again! The included breakfast ( pictured ) is the BEST included breakfast I’ve had in my 15 years of regular travel. I was completely blown away. Nothing about your experience is spared at Aqua Dive resort. Absolutely epic,

Absolutely nothing! I extended my stay!

Our stay at this accommodation was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. Everything was perfectly organized, and we felt completely at ease throughout our time there. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, making it easy to relax and enjoy every moment. One of the absolute highlights was the food – every meal was delicious, freshly prepared, and there was an impressively large and varied menu to choose from. Everything was cooked to perfection. The dive instructors were simply the best we’ve ever had – incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about diving. We felt safe and well taken care of at all times, and we learned a lot while also having so much fun exploring the underwater world around Amed. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by Ronald and his staff.. The entire team was extremely friendly and attentive, always checking in with us and making sure all our needs were met. It truly felt like being part of a family – very personal, very caring, and highly professional at the same time. This place goes above and beyond in making guests feel comfortable and looked after. It’s rare to find such a combination of excellent service, great food, professional diving instruction, and a genuine family-like environment. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a truly special and unforgettable stay in Amed!

Everything was perfect! It’s clean, comfortable and very well located. The owners and the staff take really good care of you. I was travelling with my 7 year old son and having everything in one place made things easier for me. I was even able to have massage in the lovely spa twice while being able to check on my son. The restaurant was beautifully located near the diving pool and I liked that atmosphere. Menu was lovely. I wish I booked longer! Could not find the opportunity to try diving but will definitely come back for that! Thank you Aqua Dive Resort for everything🐠😌

The paradise. After 10 days in a raw through Java and Bali, doing vulcanos, waking up at 1AM to do amazing trekkings, the chaos in Ubud, 4 hours through Munduk waterfalls, Bali belly, etc, we arrived here at AQUA DIVE RESORT AMED and my daughter Laia said: THIS IS THE PARADISE! That was first day, and now (5 days later) that we leave, we can confirm AQUA is a paradise. Brand new resort, amazing staff, very helpful even beyond they should. Have arranged many services, etc. Besides, Amed is such an awesome place to snorkel and dive. All in one. For sure, we'll repeat if we ever come to Bali!! Staff: thaaaanks a lot for everything!! You are our new Balinese family!!

Maybe the restaurant, but it's normal since they just started a few weeks ago, still learning and I'm sure they'll improve.

This place is set up so well, exceptional accommodation and food, great facilities and perfect location. The owner is an absolute gentlemen, with so much respect for staff, locals snd guests alike. Highly recommend staying here, we extended our stay here, largely because of this place but also because Amed is such a great spot. Can’t wait to return!

The place is brand new so there were a couple of very minor teething issues (door catching etc) but the owners were very receptive and responsive to remedy, loved it all really.

Очень красивое место ! Как картинка все ! Чисто , вкусный и сытный завтрак, ужин тоже очень понравился. Номера свежие и чистые . В отеле есть все необходимое для снорклинга и дайвинга . Мне кажется в Амеде лучше место и не найти .

Es un hotel muy acogedor y muy recomendable también si quieres sacarte certificaciones de buceo. ¡Repetiría sin duda!

El resort es muy nuevo y se nota. Reservamos una villa con vista al jardin, las dimensiones de las estancias eran amplias. La piscina está muy bien. Dispone de centro de buceo con material muy nuevo. No lo usamos pero somos buceadores y pudimos apreciarlo durante la estancia. Dispone de centro de masaje con unas masajistas excepcionales. Este servicio sí lo utilizamos.

Desayuno muy escaso. Lo único bueno el café. Muy lento el servicio de desayuno y comida. Comimos un día y tardamos tanto que descartamos volver a comer o cenar allí. Hay que tener en cuenta en esta villa que tiene dos plantas con escalera de caracol, olvídate de subir las maletas si son un poco grandes. La villa está pegada al restaurante, yo no la volvería a reservar por problemas de ruido todo el día procedentes del restaurante. Había un pitido constante los días que estuvimos procedente de dicho restaurante. No nos limpiaron la habitación, pese a ver al servicio de limpieza por allí.

Het is een mooi en vrij nieuw resort met een zwembad, rooftop bar en restaurant. Het was allemaal erg netjes en het personeel is super vriendelijk en helpt je graag (spreken goed Engels). In de buurt zitten restaurantjes/winkeltjes/supermarktjes en ook het strand is goed te bereiken.

Achter ons huisje was een ruimte voor het personeel en dat was een beetje gehorig.

Das Resort liegt direkt in Amed und bietet wirklich alles, was man sich für einen entspannten Urlaub wünscht: Tauch- und Schnorchelausflüge, wunderschöne Schnorchelspots, entspannende Massagen und dazu noch extrem gutes Essen. Das gesamte Team ist unglaublich freundlich, herzlich und familiär – wir fühlten uns jederzeit bestens betreut! Auch die Lage des Resorts ist großartig: Es befindet sich direkt an der Hauptstraße, wodurch Strand, Shops und andere Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe sind. Trotzdem ist es nach hinten, in Richtung der Zimmer, sehr ruhig und idyllisch. Die Zimmer sind großzügig geschnitten und mit Klimaanlage sowie Kühlschrank ausgestattet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist außerdem die hauseigene Wasseraufbereitungsanlage – ein großer Pluspunkt für Nachhaltigkeit und Komfort. Wir können das Resort absolut weiterempfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Très bel hôtel, idéalement situé. Le personnel était adorable et la chambre magnifique. Le restaurant avec le rooftop est délicieux, tout comme le petit déjeuné.

On a déposé des habits pour la Landry à la réception et on nous a échangé des habits,le problème c’est que nous nous en sommes pas rendu compte immédiatement

La atención del personal, la limpieza, el desayuno, las actividades.....todo perfecto. También pudimos disfrutar alguna noche de la comida muy rica del hotel, así como de tomarnos unas cervezas y cócteles en el roof top a la hora del anochecer. Ante la falta de tiempo, solo pudimos hacer la actividad de bautismo de submarinismo, y fue todo perfecto. También nos facilitaron el alquiler de unas motos para movernos por zona. Si alguna vez vuelvo a Amed, no dudaré en volver por el Aqua Dive Resort-

Todo el hotel era precioso, muy nuevo, muy cuidado todo. Se notaba que el dueño era europeo. Estaba todo decorado y hecho con mucho gusto. Las habitaciones amplias, muy limpias. Equipadas con aire y con ventiladores de techo. El desayuno incluido era buenísimo, un café de especialidad Espectacular. La oferta de comida riquísima. El personal muy muy amable.

Nada, por sugerir algo, cambiar la flota de motocicletas por unas un pelín más nuevas y que la piscina del jardín tuviese el agua un poco más fría (al darle el sol todo el día es difícil conseguirlo).

Behulpzame en lieve eigenaren. Personeel ook erg vriendelijk en spreken zeer goed Engels. Kamer was mooi en schoon. Duiken hier is ook zeker aan te raden!

Très bien situé. Personnel agréable, serviable et compétent.
