The nice small hotel near snorkeling spots

The Hotel is located a bit outside of the city center but it is near the snorkeling spots. There is nice small pool on the premises, sun beds for the guests, etc. The staff are accommodating and welcoming, the breakfast is not very rich but nice and tasty. My room was on the second floor with large comfy bed and very nice view from the terrace. The room and the bathroom are clean and well maintained, and cleaning is done every 1-2 days, the beddings and the towels were sparkling clean either.

The kitchen is shared between two rooms and equipped poorly. There are no cleaning products, no soap, or shampoo (the residue in the bathroom dispensers is a complete disaster) in the either the kitchen or the room - I think, the management supposes that it should be brought by the guests themself.

For two long evenings, I swam among the palm trees under the starry sky, in silence and solitude.

Spacious room, lovely balcony overlooking the garden, nice swimming pool, sufficient breakfast.

When I checked in, I couldn't believe my eyes—the sheet on the bed was dirty, right in the middle, the most visible part. I demanded a change of bed linen, which was done immediately. I wasn't thrilled with the beach near the hotel.

On the downward slide...

Bed was comfortable, new mozzie net. Hot water reliable, fridge worked, aircon coped. Breakfast was very good. Pool was a decent size & nice temperature. Staff responsive & someone is always around. If you're going to stay here, suggest upstairs room to avoid the fishbowl of the ground floor rooms.

Badly needs a full reno; rooms & building exterior. It's deteriorating & will continue to do so. Things don't work. Shared kitchen area was dirty; wouldn't want to cook or use anything. Staff respond to issues immediately...but its just a bandaid...which won't stay on 🥴 Bathroom was awful; scungy & felt very unclean. Everything is old & needs replacing. There are better places to stay for the same money or less.

The grounds are lovely and the pool was nice.

The staff were OK, but they charged us for scooters we did not use and some staff were disrespectful. The breakfast was yummy. The room was OK, our shower head did not work properly and it was not nice to shower with. I had to use the hand-held shower head in the bath to shower. It is a bit far from the main area in Amed.

Good stay

The staff was nice, they helped me to organize the scooter drivers for two days trip to visit temples. Simple but good breakfast.

There were spiders in my room, the staff didn´t clean under the bed where were spider nets a lot. It would be nice to have sunbeds on the beach, there were just two old sunbeds without any mattrasse. Quite far away from center of Amed and there are no possiblity to take Grab or Gojek.

Excellent

Beautiful spacious accommodation and great location. We had the best two rooms (upstairs and the beach end) with beautiful ocean views from the balcony and shower. The apartments are in pairs with a big common in between, which was perfect for us as my parents had the apartment beside.

The beach out the front is not really a swimming/snorkelling beach, but it is a short taxi ride or even walking distance to other beaches.

Amazing stay at Villa Mangga for nature lovers

Small cozy hotel with 8 rooms in the middle of a beautiful nature, plants, trees, rice field. Pool for kids and pool for adults. Manager helped to get all services we needed (scooters, laundry, massage,…). We even were able to have dinner on the beach. Staff was really nice and helpful, speaking good English. Great location at walking distance of the best sunset locations.

Pretty bloody fantastic

Laid back easy! Staff where Awsome going the kids fresh points to drink and eat the pool was more than ample and just a great part of Bali we did not know existed short trip to the beach etc. AMA ing snorkelling just around the beach short tai ride great food In The area try the roast duck at Taman aross the Rd Diversity where great as well doing the kids dive tickets. Very happy

Quiet and relaxing

The location was awesome, across some small rice paddies and your on the beach. Breakfast was good, plenty there to get the day started and staff were very friendly. Just like many places around Bali that were built 10 or so years ago, it could do with a bit of an upgrade here and there, but would not hesitate to stay again

Nothing not to like, but if you don’t have access to transport of some kind (plenty available close by) then you will be limited on cafes/warongs/restaurants etc, but if a walk to centre of Amed

Kindest people

Incredible accommodation with private access to the sea, a nice pool, tasty breakfast and espacially the hosts were incredibly kind. We couldn't get our scooter to start and they helped us out. They offered to leave the scooter at the inn. They even called people they knew to find out what the problem was. After returning at the same day at 11pm, they waited for us to come back to give us the repaired scooter. They were one of the kindest people, I have ever met. We completety recommend this place to everybody!

Excellent property, large room with open bathroom upstairs. Only 8 units. Large kitchen area in between the units, with large fridge. Small fridge in your room. Breakfast supplied

It is abit out of town so don’t have the choice of a lot of eateries but if you have a car or bike ideal spot as nothing is that far away.

Wonderfully spacious rooms with great hosts

Wonderful property with amazing sea views from infinity pool, all the people who work here are lovely and very helpful. The bed was perfectly comfortable with mosquito net which wasn’t needed but looks beautiful. Large filtered water for those who don’t like to use plastic bottles and communal kitchen one between two rooms which large wooden table was lovely.

overall, it was a great stay and great value for the money

I loved everything about the property. The breakfast was alway fresh and hot and the staff was super friendly. They went out of their way to assure I was comfortable and very responsive with everything. The room and bathroom are huge and well kept.

I didn't like that they dont have sheers on the window to make sure that there is adequate privacy when the curtains are open. If you want to change clothes, you have to do it in the bathroom, or make sure the curtains are closed and it limits the natural lighting in the room.

Die Lage, grosse schöne Zimmer, schöne Aussicht, schöner Pool. Grosser Balkon.

Kein warmes Wasser zum Duschen um 7 Uhr am Abend. Lieblos eingerichtet. Kein Schrank um etwas aufzuhängen. In der allgemeinen Küche hatt es Spinnweben in den Kästen.

Het was lekker rustig en de kamers waren ruim.

We verbleven 5 dagen bij het hotel en de kamer werd niet echt schoongemaakt pas na 4 dagen toen we ernaar vroegen.

De eigenaar regelde alles tot in de puntjes. Personeel was ook prima. Prachtige omgeving. Hebben ook een nacht verlengd.
