Can't go wrong lying pool side while listening to the waves

Location was fantastic; beachfront (well rock beach front) so you hear the waves lapping the shoreline all day, everyday. We were in Amed to dive and were walking distance to our dive shop, to great warungs, ATMs, supermarket, and close to scooter hire so you can explore further afield.

Trying to confirm our booking and arrival time was a little challenging, and the communication was poor - I couldn't find a number to contact and there was no response via booking.com. As we were arriving well after midnight, we wanted to confirm how we checked in and had to go through our dive shop to help us get the answer. Good service/communication once there.

Lovely large bungalows with garden and pool by the beach.

Very lovely premises, right by the beach. Large, luminous room. Comfortable, large bed. Large bathroom. Beautiful large balcony with patio. Beautiful pool next to the restaurant. Good breakfast. Beautiful, lush garden. Siding Calypso diving.

Poor room and bathroom lighting. Only one working socket with multiple plug at the entrance of the room, far from the bed. A 10 minutes walk from the village, with a stretch of road with no walk side, still not too bad considering you can rent a scooter, or also walk by the beach, if you don't feel like taking the road.

Friendly staff, perfect view of the ocean and snorkelling right out the front. Fishing trip was amazing and catch and cook was epic.

Beautiful villas right on the sea, friendly staff, lovely views, great pool. No noise at night, a wonderful plane to stay in Amed

The AC was a tiny bit old, and struggled a little in the heat, but a very minor issue.

Amed local older bungalows and restuarant

Love the staff great locals, like the area

No night staff or security, area getting busier and my room needs some doors looked at didn't close as the bathroom has open walls up high but felt a little bit not at ease being nowadays and all... Needs maintenance done... For the price I paid expect it thanks

Great location, was literally right next to the beach with incredible views. Staff were super accomodating and friendly. Had a lovely vibe.

Terrific position with friendly staff

Awesome position with a lovely pool overlooking the beach. Friendly helpful staff. Great massage in the poolside cabana by the onsite masseur. Big bedroom. Can snorkel straight out the front of the hotel- don’t expect beautiful coral- it is bleached out looking, but saw loads of brightly coloured fish and a big turtle.

The cats wandering in & out of the kitchen- but this IS Bali & that seems pretty commonplace here. Aircon really struggled and few of the power points in the room worked.

Spacious clean room, on the beach with a pool option. Enjoyable stay

Spacious bedroom with mosquito nets , plus a lounge and balcony with seating and nice outlook. Friendly staff, clean facilities and pool. Options for breakfast. Restaurant onsite with many others close by.

The doors to the bathroom were old wood and difficult to open & close . The only electrical socket the kettle could reach was the fridge one … no bedside cabinets. Minor things but would be nicer if they were addressed.

It was a good stay, we loved the pool!

Central close to water, great views

The restaurant was rather sad, it was not inviting for meals. It would have been good to see some tables set for dinner inviting guests to sit down. No condiments on the tables and always had to get them ourself from the bar.

The best villa in Amed

Unbelievable accommodation. We had 2 villas with sea view. Great villas with terrace and balcony. Great open roof bathroom. Super view from the room to the sea. Pool is 5 m from the room and its clear water. Resort has a nice restaurant with good local and eurpoean foods. Calypso Dive Centervis on the neighbour and offer good dive trips. Very quiet enivornment. You can snorkling direct on the hotels beach.

A wonderful hotel with a nice beach and delicious cuisine.

The staff is extremely friendly, the rooms are spacious, the grounds are lush and green, and the pool is clean. Everything is spotless and peaceful. ☺️ It’s also worth mentioning that all the snorkeling spots included in local tours are within walking distance. The Turtle Spot 🐢 is just 20 meters from the hotel. The underwater temple and the stunning coral reef are only 200 meters down the beach. The hotel also offers rental of all necessary snorkeling equipment.

More than we expected

Very relaxing, simple rooms but spacious and clean. Comfortable beds, good food and nice pool. The pool and the restaurant are right on the beach and the staff looked after us very well. We couldn’t ask for anything more for the money. Interesting architecture and winding pathways .

A wonderful, value for money hotel with excellent staff.

We absolutely loved staying at Tradisi. It’s such good value for money. It is a little bit run down but very clean and totally normal for Bali. The food at the restaurant is fantastic and the beach out the front is quiet. You can snorkel directly out the front, or the main snorkel point is a short walk away.

Great pool area and right on the beach with lots of coral reef to explore in the ocean. The staff are very friendly.

The room was sub par and did not look anything like the pictures online. The bathroom was poorly built with the hot water heater sticking out of the wall above the shower and raw edges of mismatched tiles exposed and not placed square at all. The toilet leaked (flooded more like it—worst experience when trying to go to the bathroom at night) and it took 3 days to get it fixed. The water in the shower was boiling hot no matter what you did. Worse than no hot water when in Bali! Also there were no bedside tables or places to plug in your electronics without having to get up and walk to the other side of the room.

Great value for money and a wonderful outdoor area

This place is all that anyone could ask for when staying in Amed. The location is honestly amazing. The pool is about 4m away from the sea and the snorkeling straight from Tradisi is amazing. The staff were very helpful, the food was good value and you are 5 mins walk either way to bars and restaurants. I recommend a bungalow over a room as the balconies and being within the lovely garden is worth it. We had a 'garden view' room but could see the sea. Some comments say it's a bit dated which in some ways it is but it's honestly beautiful and the pool/beach/dining area is so lovely and the garden is gorgeously maintained. Cold water and drains are a bit smelly but that's pretty typical of Bali and a small price to pay for all the beauty

Good location, great staff but there are too many options to settle.

The location was great

The property was very rundown and unkept. The room wasn’t cleaned during my 3 day stay so you had to go and ask for extra toilet paper etc. The bed was awfully hard, the linen had holes and the towel smelt like old musty shoes. The toilet barely flushed and the water came out of the shower head everywhere but where it wasn’t meant to. I checked out a day early.

Absolute heaven, I could’ve stayed a month.

Absolutely gorgeous. It’s not 5 star, it’s rustic but for the price you can’t go wrong. Bed was HUGE. Pool is warm. Few steps and you’re on the beach and snorkelling. Staff were lovely.

Restaurant/breakfast service was a little slow. But we just swam while we waiting so no real biggie.

Exceptional

Amazing location with a pool, terrace and cafe right on the beach. Even the 'garden view' villa we stayed in was 10m from the pool and 20m from the beach. The staff were out of this world, always relaxed yet bending over backwards for us to make our stay comfortable - and always smiling. Even cooked customised meals for dinner on request. The food is not fancy but it hit the spot for a mix of local and European dishes. Perfect for kids, or if you just want a nice light meal for dinner by the pool because you went all out at lunch - we recommend the fisherman's basket (grilled seafood with Balinese sides) and the club sandwiches. The room was amazing; big bright and clean, perfect for a family. We were only 3, but you can sleep 4 in the villa comfortably. The reception can arrange snorkel and fishing trips for you and has snorkel equipment to hire. The photos on the booking.com site do not do this place justice.... It's way better!

Great value for money

We had a great time as a family of four in Amed. Beautiful location directly on the beach. Great snorkeling on walking distance. Location is very central. We rented motorbikes to get around. Would come again.

Had the room above the restaurant the first night. Toilet did not flush. Changed rooms from the second night onwards. Restaurant and breakfast can be improved upon.

Had a great time.

The location was great, good snorkeling out front ( head out to the diving bouy), saw a turtle, good fortune of seeing a small reef shark- harmless and beautiful. Great pool, excellent outlook from deck for sunrise and sunset. Good restaurant on site, plenty of choices near by. Friendly helpful staff.
