My stay was very good. The location is perfect—very convenient and close to everything, so you can do everything on foot. You can also rent a motorbike nearby from the tattoo shop next door for 70,000, which is quite cheap. The staff were very attentive, helpful, and hardworking. Breakfast was delicious—banana tapioca with really good coffee. The only thing was that I found the mattress a bit too soft. I was going to ask for a change, but I saw that they were fully booked, so I ended up staying as it was.

Great spot!

cheap and close to beach!

Locatie is amazing, directly on the beach where they provide some sunbeds and sunumbrella. The price is very cheap including a nice sweet pancake with coffee or tea they make for you. The air conditioning works well. Is located along the vivid street/boulevard with many restaurants, shops and diving/snorkeling operators. Nice small cabinets at head of the bed.

I stayed here during the low season (28–30) which made The hostel quite empty, and staff weren’t around much. I understand this can happen in low season. Still, I did miss a bit of the usual hospitality and communication, especially during check in and when I wanted to ask for an extra blanket in the early evening and no one was available. The website showed only one mixed dorm left, so I assumed the place was full, but it turned out they only sell that one dorm during low season, and most private rooms were empty which we saw. On the positive side, it did make it easy to connect with the few other guests who were there. (personally I sleep very well) but maybe for lightsleepers, the bunkbeds make a wood-cracking sound.

Nice basic place that has beachfront access and everything you need if you come with a flexible mindset

Amazing location, snorkeling right off the beach, they rent equipment. Nice places to sit beachfront. Food cheap but ok - my chicken wasn’t fully cooked but it was very tasty. Nice banana pancake for breakfast. I stayed in a private room, had my own table, terrace, sunbed right out front. Room basic and bit old furniture but fine for what you pay for.

Only annoying thing was that half of the nights and mornings I didn’t have any water in my private bathroom, nor was there any water in public facilities. Staff helped quickly once they were alerted, but for me this mean that I didn’t have a hot shower then bc the boiler was only filling up again then. Also - some nights there is very loud live music (which didn’t always sound too great either) and one day all day there was very loud music on the beach which wasn’t enjoyable to me. But it’s a chill place and other days were more quiet luckily.

Happy with my stay

I stayed in the dorm and had it all to myself! The dorm did look a little run down with plaster peeling off the walls and a bit of a musty smell but given the price I was content with it. Great air conditioning and comfortable clean bed. The breakfast was great and I got to enjoy it on the beach looking out at the beautiful sea. Did the job nicely for a one night stay.

The dorm interior could do with a spruce up.

Fair for price but need a clean

Great location and I can tell the bar is nice and lively, I like that it has a beach with sun loungers

It was cheap so you get what you pay for but the private room wasn't my favourite honestly. The bedding had blood stains and holes in it which is a bit grim and the bathroom has a damp smell. I also ordered fries and they were ice cold when they arrived but they brought me new ones out which I appreciated. I was also struggling with the air con like it wouldn't turn on then wouldn't turn off and they were a bit patronising when I said the remote wasn't working for me but it's just one of those things I guess

A great location for having a few beers and watching sunset. If you want a cheap place in a great location, then this is the place for you.

Probable the best deal for backpackers in Amed! Loved the chill vibe, the 4ppl dorms are quality, with aircon and good bathrooms. The food, the drinks, the location, the staff, everything was perfect!

Good vibes

The hostel has a great atmosphere and seems to attract friendly people. We were there on a Monday night which happened to have a fantastic live band performing in the bar that was adjoining the accommodation. Also, the location is ideal. I spent a lot of my time relaxing on the beach, and snorkelling.

The bunk beds are very creaky and it's loud whenever someone moves in the night. I am not surprised by and believe it was definitely value for money

Perfect budget location to explore Amed from

- The location is perfect, right on the beach (perfect for snorkelling) and walking distance to restaurants/dive sites - Loved the live music in the bar one of the days we were there - Dorm was fairly clean - Staff were great and let us extend our stay easily :)

- The outside shower/bathroom was a bit grubby and didn’t have a proper lock (you hook it round a nail). The drains near them also smelt a bit. But for what we paid this wasn’t a big problem.

Amazing place to meet people.

A great hostel if you want to meet people. The staff is really inviting and I even stayed longer because the vibe was so chill. There is a great snorkeling spot and a supermarket across the road.

I love the family vibe of the place and the people..

I love it! The experience was the best, family vibe and the get together everynight with bone fire & guitar. I had my own little hut to work just by the beach, swim, snorkel, chill, sunrise, sunset and Mt. Batur.. It was great!

The shower is sometimes flooding so a bit of maintenance could help but all is well.

Hostel with a vibe and great value for the money

The big room and the terrace, the beach and snorkeling. Good value for the money. Close to restaurants and a few minutes walk to indomaret.

Didnt get any information about breakfast and could not see anyone from the staff on the early morning, but besides from that the staff was very helpful. They helped fix the aircon in my room since it was not working at first.

Best hostel in Amed

Amazing location right on the beach and close to nice cafés and restaurants. You can see turtles everyday while snorkelling. Breakfast was really good and the staff always friendly and helpful. It's the perfect place to meet people and the night with Live Music is great fun.

Best place in Amed !

The location is amazing ! The staff are the nicest people ever. Breakfast included, you can rent snorkeling equipment, and see turtles just in front of the hostel ! Diving centers are just next, friendly staff, nice mood. Definitely one of my highlights of my trip !

Fun place for backpackers/divers on a budget with incredible views of Mt Agung sunset.

Right on the beach with good snorkeling right outside, you can see turtles, fish etc. Sunset view with Mt Agung from the beach bar is awesome too. Close to good diving and restaurants (recommend Plouf Diving and Warung Enak).

Still getting back on track after COVID I believe so a few repairs needed around the place but for the price it was a great find. Some great music played in the bar (especially the reggae) but sometimes loud dance music didn't feel like it suited the chilled vibe.

If you stay there on Monday you cannot sleep. Every Monday they have live music performance which is soooo loud and annoying! Defeaning music, drunk people screaming until 2 am. Impossible to have rest.

Tha staff was super nice, would invite us to drink and sing/play guitar every night :)

Only downside was, that the rooms were veeery moist all the time. (Dorm not as much as the doubleroom)
