Peaceful oasis on Amed beach

Amazing location right on the beach, Super helpful and nice staff that helps organize anything (snorkeling tour, rent a scooter), very responsive Beautiful garden Very cozy and clean room Great value for money Good atmosphere

In this place we couldn't find a thing to improve for the value paid, the best accomodation during our Bali trip. The only thing I could find is that the clothes we sent to wash came back with stains and not smelling well but it is acceptable since we gave them wet after driving scooter in the rain.

Chilled, peaceful, beautiful

We loved our week-long stay in our bungalow. Very quiet, private & with beautifully tended gardens, & just a few steps to the beach. Staff were attentive without being intrusive, & were easily contactable via WhatsApp. Lovely breakfast served on our verandah each day, which you order via WhatsApp the day before. Amazing value for money, with a beautiful, clean, uncrowded beach on our doorstep & plenty of beachfront bars & restaurants to choose from. Very chilled, laid back vibe. Staff are able to organise any tours & transport for you, but we were happy mostly just relaxing & walking the short distance to the amazing snorkelling spots nearby.

Would be good if there was a ceiling fan on the verandah

The beachfront location, superb landscape view, feels like having a private beach in your front yard, cleanliness, helpfull staff, affordable price, sun bed, nice garden inside the property.

Nothing for me, but good to know it has a narrow alley approx. 5-10m to access the parking site. However, we have no issues with that and considering the price to value ratio.

Best place in Amed

I don’t know where to start. - Location is AMAZING, just a few steps from the beach with crystal clear water - Cottage garden is really beautiful, super well maintain - Staff is super helpful, they take care of every detail - Cottage is VERY clean - Food from Kartika is the best in Amed, don’t miss it! We wanted to stay longer!! I hope we can come back anytime soon 🤞🏻

I’ve had the honor to stay two nights at The BBQ guesthouse. Very quiet and peaceful setting. The energy is felt and feels very pure. The staff is amazing and so helpful and so so kind. The rooms are spacious and very clean. They prepared me their signature bbq fish dish and truthfully; it’s the best fish I’ve ever eaten in my life. This was my first time staying at a guest house and can say this place blew me away, in a good way.

Perfect stay on the beach

It was the best accomodation in Bali for us so far. The staff was super nice, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was really good and we could choose from many options. They can also arrange a fish BBQ for you on the beach which is nice. We also borrowed the snorkeling equipment from the guest house. The location is also good - there are a lot of warugs and restaurants around (could be reached by walk) and nice beaches for snorkeling reachable via scooter. We would definitelly go there once again.

The shower - there is no showerhead so the water is going only from one steam and it is over the whole bathroom. Also the water was not really hot. The house for 2 people does not have the direct sea view (only family house) but it is not a real minus as you could go to the beach quickly.

Incredibly friendly hosts. They really go above and beyond. They helped us arrange all our transportation to the Gilis, airport and Ubud. Tasty dinner can be ordered straight to the room. Breakfast is very nice too. The mattress is comfortable and the room is very clean.

I was a little disappointed with the fishing trip which other reviews have also mentioned. We only got to hold a string and move our arm around. Didn't catch any fish either. No complaints at all about the accomodation.

Highly recommended

First of all a special thanks to Kadek who welcomed us and was then available during all of our stay. He is always smiling, quick to answer any question, willing to help and he provides very good advice for activities. He is a real asset for BBQ's owner. The guest house is very well located, right on the beach front. We took a room for two, with the view on a very beautiful garden. It was confortable, well equipped and clean. The breakfast is served upon your choice on the beach or in front of the bungalow. It is very good. If you order it a day before, you can also have a BBQ diner, which we recommend: it was so good! We went fishing early in the morning and we have been cooked our catch, plus barracuda fish as well.

The location was awsome Kadek and his staff were fantastic and always helpful and full of information for local attractions..we thoroughly enjoyed our stay..get up and watch the sunrise from the ocean..breathtaking

Friendly staff with excellent English. Did much more than required to help us in a cash crunch. Location is right on the beach, our little one room bungalow faced the beach through a beautiful and well maintained garden. We could sit or lie on our veranda shaded by flowering shrubs, or relax in our air conditioned room.

The shower is unusual, a single pipe coming from a tall statue. One of us liked the flow. One of us didn't. The room lighting was very low, but nice reading light in bed.

Cosy beach front accomm run by a beautiful family

We were drawn this accommodation by the reviews about the staff of the property and they didn’t disappoint. Wayan, Gede and crew were so wonderful. At the recommendation of other guests we also has a fish dinner prepared by the family on the beach at sunset, which was beautiful!

Having a water container we can help ourselves to without having to use plastic would be amazing, but the team were always happy to fill up our bottles for us.
