Pelangi Beach Homestay

The breakfasts were lovely, pancakes and local Balinese rice and banana fritters with fresh tropical fruit and Bali coffee.

The cold showers were a surprise but really no bother, it's hot enough in Amed to not need a hot shower.

Colorful decoration, centrally located on the beach with a beautiful ocean view from my room. The most accommodating staff possible who anticipated and took care of all of my needs throughout my week's stay, delicious breakfasts and coffee available at any time. When I arrived, it immediately felt like I was visiting friends.

Between the amazing hospitality, convenient location within walking distance to everything you need, stunning ocean/Mt Agung view right from the balcony and attention to detail of this charming place, I can’t recommend Pelangi enough. Even though this is not a hostel, the way the rooms are set up allow you to meet other travelers so easily. As a solo female traveler, I was blessed to have all of my neighbors turn to friends/family during my two-week stay. Special thank you to Nyoman and Illu for your consistent love and care. Side note: I highly recommend going out to the beach for a sunrise swim at 6:30 a.m. and going for live music at Warung Bobo’s on Mondays and Thursdays at 6 p.m. (just a 5-min beach walk)
