Beach front, you cannot be closer to the beach the view is super nice Bed are comfortable

Smelling bad inside the room due to humidity and or moisture it was awful, did bought encens to try to cover the smell but not covered anything … had to change location for the last night

Value for money and 5 steps to the beach

The staff were very nice and the location is super good. Location at seafront and Rimba restaurant just across the street is great for breakfast and other meals and also Warung Lebah super recommended. The room was very clean and as shown in the pictures. Aircon working absolutely fine in case someone is concerned about this.

The water would occasionaly stop running but would come back few min later. We are not sure if this happens after the first person showers or because someone else is showering in another room. It resolves very quickly though. The bar next to the accommodation can play loud music until 11pm but we stayed two nights (Sat and Sun) and they only had music the first night and then second one didn't play any music at all.

Sleep next to ocean

View. Sounds of waves. Air con. Price. Beach with corals just 50m away (you can rent a gear from them on a spot for 40k). Bike rental not far away 70k Breakfast must be at Rimba, just accros the road. Very interesting shower from bamboo tree

You might have to listen to live music which is just next to this place. We stayed 2 nights and one of those there was a party with live music just next doors. It finished at 11pm anyway, and you can not blame the owners of this place, but you want to know such thing in advance.

Best place for snorkling for good price

Beachfront, amazing position close to warung both along the street and the beach (I would recommend bobo for chilling out and la plage for lunch). Staff told us where to go for snorkling and we found turtles very close to the beach. Spacious and clean room. Air conditioning was good.

The toilet smelled and the last night we found a huge cockroach due to some plumbing works they were doing in another room. The bed is a bit hard.

The bed bugs. I got viciously bitten the first night and had to leave. The couple working there retuned my money. They also promissed they will sort the problem. But I went past and there was someone there already the next day. Terrible

Would recommend

Fabulous location right on the sea front. Only 4 rooms, so it felt cozy. Bed was King size and very comfortable. A/c worked well. My room was in the corner so sheltered from the elements.

Fridge needed defrosting. A tv would have been nice.

Putu is great! Greta location too - on the beach and across the road from rimba!

On the water. Can see sunrise and sunset from the same area! Great value for money! Easy check in. Comfortable room.

Saturday night they have a loud band next door but one night a week only. Great music just loud if you’re trying to sleep! 😴 but they did warn me when I arrived . Cannot fault it just wanted to mention if you stayed on a Saturday night to be aware. Otherwise great!

Beachfront

As expats living in Bali over 14 years, we visit Amed 2-3 times each year. We stayed in several places in different price ranges. We have experienced high class - high price places and also low class - low prices places as this one. Very confident to announce this one as the bu**hole of Amed. We did not arrive with high expectations, we know what we have paid and were expecting just a standard and clean place. Well, we arrived and wanted to check out immediately. Dust all around (the bed, wardrobe, light switches, window and door frames, rust on all appliances, smelly and dirty bed sheets & pillows, dirty floor, dirty toilet, cigarette buds in front of the room, broken parts hanging form the ceiling, broken sink, spider net above the bed ceiling and so on... I will try to upload all the photos with this review but if it will be not allowed, i will put it anyway up on Google. We asked the staff when the room was cleaned last, he said "this morning" which was hard to believe. We contacted the owner to inform him about the condition of his place and he did not even comment about it. Our stay was planned as 2 nights but we checked out after the 1st night. We did not move on the first day as we were already tired driving all the way from south Bali. Next day in the morning we texted the owner that we are moving out and contacted bookingcom customer service to ask for a 1 night refund as the place was impossible to stay at. The owner said sorry we weren't happy at his place but of course in reality he did not feel that way. I told him that we will share our experience on bookingcom and Google. He just said "up to you". Bookingcom customer service tried to ask the owner for a 1 night refund too but the owner did not agree. So, we ended up paying 2 nights although we stayed only 1 night and moved to another place for our 2nd night. About the staff; they see nothing wrong with the property condition and act like everything is normal for them.

The room was good with a comfortable bed and an air conditioner that cools optimally. Also having a mini bar was nice. The location is brilliant. It’s right on the beach with plenty of restaurants to choose from nearby.

Beachfront direct access to the beach, waves. Restaurants along the beach. Located in the heart of Amed. Basic accommodation, super comfy bed, clean, safe. Staff and night guard is friendly and helpful.

General maintenance is due such as wardrobe door but I didn’t need to use it.

Right onb the beach , nice to hear the waves..comfy clear room, if a little sterile

no front entrance or lobby. You have to walk though a pub and a bit across dirty sand to get to the room. Coffee maker did not work (minor anoyance). Also, a pretty good local rock band was playing right next door till 11:15. Nice when I wanted to listen to them, but I was tired and the sound was pounding in my room even with my head phones on when I wanted to sleep early. So be aware of the potential for that(that was on a Wed night)

Great location right on beach.

Very very very dirty. Light didn’t work in the bathroom, Dirty cups, dirty bathroom, there was no hot water. Hard to find rooms of hotel behind the old ugly buildings.It is difficult to carry a suitcase through a narrow passage between buildings, especially at night because the path is not lit.

Valomia is very basic accomodation which we like. The owner,Butu is nice and taught us some Balinese language .

Valomia is a few steps away from the beach. It is close to town and was not expensive.

We liked it/ not much we didn’t like.
