Good value for money, close to the beach

It's very close to the beach and to our favourite place in Amed: Warung Bobo. We enjoyed very much the snorkelling trip that we booked through Wayan.

The room and the breakfast were very basic but good value for money after all.

“Divetastic” place to stay in Amed!!

The staff were very kind and caring. Wayan taught my teenagers to scuba dive and took them out on a dive trip!! Best memories ever!! Our rooms were very clean, comfortable and our breakfast was yummy and the pools were fantastic on the property. The location is perfect for your time in Amed!!

Good for divers, lovely staff, very happy!

Lovely staff, yummy breakfast. Appears to be really good for anyone wanting to learn Suva diving/get their Padi license. Good location - close to the beach/town.

The water was dodgy and would randomly go cold and then hot and completely turn off at different points in the day. They also offered room cleaning many times, but never came.

Nice swimming poll and bungalows

Great location near the beach and nice warungs in the the near surroundings. The bungalow was comfortable, clean and right next to the nice swimming pool. We used the one day diving lesson for 90 dollars which was a great memorable experience.

Breakfast could be better, still value for the money. The reception staff did not much speak English.

I had an extended stay at Jukung Dive Resort and I couldn’t have picked a better place. The room was lovely, bed very comfortable, good AC and walk in shower with hot water and good pressure. All the staff were always friendly, kind, smiling and welcoming and they made me feel at home. Wifi was consistently strong and the location was perfect with just a short walk to cafes, warungs, , spas, supermarket and ATMs. Highly recommended!

Perfect location, friendly staff, great room and pools

Breakfast was very good and the room was amazing. The staff were also very kind and helped us with literally everything we asked for from laundry and renting bikes.

The privacy to the bathroom in sea view bungalow is quite limited (mainly a downside if staying with friends)

Noisy, dirty place far from beach.

Breakfast was alright.

It is written that the resort is at beach, but no one will tell you in front of the hotel is main road and different hotel. To get to beach you need to walk 1 km. The room was full of spider web, I’m not talking about the bathroom. Breakfast was good tho. We could not sleep because of noise from main road…

Exceptional

I'm assuming almost every guest stays at Jukung to dive, so I'll focus on that. The courses are taught with the highest level of professionalism and care, and the instructors joke around and are happy to talk about all kinds of things. Comang in particular is so calm and cool in the water, as is the dude with the dreadlocks and badass lion tattoo. They'll take you out to a bunch of unique locations (like the USAT Liberty wreck and a submerged Buddhist temple) that aren't far from the dive resort, They also don't try to upsell anything and are super chill about how many dives you want to do per day. The night dive on the Liberty is kind of nuts. For the place itself, the breakfast is basic but pleasant, and the laundry service had all my black-as-night Berlin threads back to me within 24 hours smelling like lotus flowers.

Room had a horrible smell (very dumped) and the hotel itself looked like a ghost hotel, it really needs a lot of love. extra 3% charge when paying by card.

a very basic accommodation with odd bathroom design

the property has an authentic vibe and the family room is very spacious and clean. the beach is a short walk away, as are a couple of good restaurants.

the bathroom is a major problem - a door without a proper door handle or lock leads up a ramp and some stairs to an open plan bathroom that is a mosquito breeding ground because it’s open to the outside. the water from the shower flows to the middle of the floor, so it is always wet.

We came here before Covid, and had very good memories, so we decided to book here again. Have to say that we worried a bit when we saw several bad reviews. But noot disappointed at all, all good except the restaurant closed. Staff said beginning of this year, due to Covid and various reasons, maintenance was not well done, All resolved very quickly.

- Close to beach and diving schools - Pool area is very nice

- Booked a double with 2 single beds but got a double bed. The alternative room we were offered with 2 single beds was very noisy, just in front of the road and did not look as clean + bathroom had open ceiling next to pool so not very private - Overall staff did not seem to care much and manager was not present

It provided a room to spend the night in.

WiFi was lousy. Literally cannot connect from the room. All facilities are poorly maintained. Room was not clean. Floor was dusty or sandy when I arrived. Basically it was not ready to serve customers even though I wanted to cut it some slack as it was affected by COVID. Compared to other places I had stayed in during the same period that are in the same price range, this place really needs attention.

Zwembad bij de kamer was niet schoongemaakt en erg vies. Kamer ligt pal aan de weg waar veel lawaai vanaf komt. Badkamer is niet meer van deze tijd.
