Great location. Just don’t plan to swim or eat there

Great central Amed location - Close to lots of Warung and the sola-mart. Ocean facing rooms have a great outlook and are huge and comfortable (but be warned that they’re around the pool and pool attracted big gaggle of noisy swimmers on NY day … well before 8am, so no sleep in!)

Pool - was blue and sparkling on day 1 but after an influx of kids and others in the pool the next day it turned rancid green. Only after 5-6 days did the pool begin to get back to sensible and potentially be willing to get in. Given the marketing of the property hinges on pool … be warned. They did dump a bunch of chlorine in but it sat undissolved on bottom of pool for 2 days. Food … NYE dinner was disgusting … roasted Maryland chicken was literally raw on inside. Sent back and came back incinerated. Breakfasts - highly variable quality and portions depending on which cook was in kitchen. Aircon & Wifi - both went out one night and took them 3+ hrs to get someone out to look at it and another hour to get fixed. Suspect electrical maintenance is not being done well.

The noise of renovations, and had we been told in advance, so we could have had the option to cancel or change our dates !! Plus as senior’s we should have been told our room was on the third floor with 46 steps , and that all third floor was very close to a roof top noisy bar 🤷‍♂️

Nice hotel in centre of Amed.

Nice location close to lots of restaurants and dive centres. Can walk straight onto beach/sea from hotel. Great views from rooftop bar. Very clean considering the hotel is right on the beach and guests must bring in lots of sand. Friendly staff and conformable room.

We did not have an issue with the ‘loud’ music from neighbouring bar but could hear music from the rooftop bar and visitors in stairway on other nights until 10.30-11pm. This did finish by 11pm but may be something to be aware of it your are getting up early.

The beautiful Mejore in Amed

The room was fabulous, so spacious and very clean and well maintained. The bed was amazing and the staff were so helpful and friendly. My views from my room and the roof top bar of Mt Arung was spectacular and the sun sets and sunrises were amazing. The motel is right on the beach and you can snorkel and see amazing reefs, coral, fish and turtles almost everywhere. I will definately be returning. The food from the resteraunt and Cafe was very good. I ate there several times and was very happy each time. The motel is in an amazing location. So near to everything

Perfect

We chose the Mejore because of the location as we had stayed up in Selang Beach and at The Mathis for the first week and we wanted to be closer to Jemeluk with more “life” and cafes & bars for the last part of our holiday. This hotel was perfect and the value for money was great. We stayed in family room 604 with a partial ocean view/pool view. Everything was as described on booking.com Big room & bathroom. Clean & comfortable. The staff were a delight (special shout out to Nyoman who took care of my friend when she needed a doctor) The roof top bar was terrific, had live music on. The view is probably the best view from the beach hotels in Amed that I have seen. We will be back!

The only thing I would say on the negative side- is that the roof top bar mini-kitchen was not clean. The chopping boards were filthy as was the sink and preparation areas. I hope this is used as constructive criticism as it did put me off drinking cocktails with chopped cucumber/fruit, which is a shame because the bar itself is wonderful.

Clean and well maintained accommodation in central Amed

We very much enjoyed our stay in the sea view suite for a week which was incredibly spacious with a beautiful view of the ocean. The room was beautifully decorated and felt new. The breakfast was good and pool area clean and well maintained. The pool was also very quiet and we regularly had it to ourselves! Room service was very good and the room was kept cleaned. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic, right in the centre of Amed but our room was on the beach side so we didn’t hear the road at all. We enjoyed eating at the sea view Warrung and Warrung Osin which were right next door.

The breakfast options were a little hit and miss. We enjoyed the pancakes, waffles, egg burrito and smoothie bowls very very much but didn’t like the eggs Benedict or bagel. We also tried the pizza and didn’t enjoy it. There is info about loud music which based on the reviews I was expecting more of. It did disturb us on a couple of nights but not the fault of the hotel really. I also imagine this was more of an issue for other rooms. Perhaps providing earplugs would have been a cheap way for the hotel to rectify this. There was also a bad smell in the bathroom after the heavy rain, presumably from the drains not being able to cope, again not the fault of the hotel! Another suggestion would be a sun lounger on the balcony in the suit as the chairs weren’t so comfortable, and it would have been a lovely place to chill out.

Damp smelling room, sheets & towels smelt very musty - like they hadn't been dried properly after washing. Bed had a big dip in & scratchy old sheets.

Nice clean hotel; wifi was good to work; disappointed by lack of sea view / space to sit.

Clean, central, nice pools. Room was comfortable and I was able to work at the desk using wifi that worked even for video calls.

I was disappointed with my room location- although the hotel is beachfront it’s very narrow so unless you have one of the few rooms overlooking the sea you could be anywhere. In fact my room 623 was tucked in a corner with a view of the road and with a tiny place to sit outside. And even the public spaces were mostly internal facing. As I chose it for the beachfront I was disappointed.

nice start to holiday after a long haul flight and delay

lovely pools, staff were a bit chaotic breakfast ones but otherwise good. we’ve stayed at 5 hotels in Bali and feel this one is overpriced. the wine for example is 3 times more expensive here for exact same product worth a trip toBali connections where there are great shops and restaurants and a shuttle bus

overpriced sea is full of plastic there are no drawers in the bedroom for clothes
