It was ok but not fantastic

Nice room. Very clean. Lovely pool

We went out for 6 hours & came back to our room, which hadn’t been made up! Had to call reception & ask for it to be done. Breakfast buffet was great on first day, second day - a La Carte. Strange. Reception couldn’t organise a hire car. Had to do that ourselves!

great stay and beautiful location

cleanly, amazing location, good breakfast

the staff was awesome and very nice but a bit unsupervised. left my earphones in the room and they didnt mention anything when they did my check out room check. only when i called back to ask about earphones did they say they saw them. asked to send them to me they delayed the taxi so that i wouldnt receive them in time. tried to upcharge me on the taxi too. a bit unprofessional. now i have to pay exhorbitant price to get then delivered to DPS airport, which they are not offering any type of compensation. also a guest kid was setting off fireworks on the beach very close to people and the workers ignored it. air con started shooting out ice which they attended to immediately, but only offered a room switch after i asked when they said workers were going to come into my room.

Very good hotel, but eat somewhere else

The room was very spacious and the bed was massive. The view was amazing. Nice pool area, next to the beach. Everything you needed in walking distance. Hotel arranged me a good driver since Grab/Gojek is not available in Amed.

The hotel restaurant was not very good. The breakfast was very mediocre. One day my scrambled eggs were prepared in a dirty pan because they tasted like mie goreng. Almost no Western options available, let alone health ones. Also the dinner options were not from an amazing quality. The WiFi was not the strongest.

A solid hotel, a bit more touristy but still okay. The reception staff could be a little bit more friendly.

The rooms are really large and spacious, the pool with sunbeds is clean and well maintained, and the seaside location is beautiful.

The internet is not the best and sometimes doesn’t work.

Lovely hotel with amazing staff

The location is unbeatable, and the staff truly make the experience exceptional, especially Ari in the restaurant, whose warmth and friendliness stood out. The rooms are incredibly spacious, with balconies that are easily the largest I've come across in Bali. Reception was impressively efficient, responding to messages almost instantly and making everything feel seamless from check-in to check-out.

While the rooms weren’t dirty, they could definitely benefit from a thorough spring clean to freshen things up. During our entire stay, the fish wasn’t available on the menu, which made dining options feel a bit limited. Also, the bath towels were quite small and could use an upgrade. That said, none of these were deal-breakers, we still had a great time and would absolutely return.

Amazing value, friendly staff,

The staff at this hotel are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spotless and the pool is lovely. Its beach front and ok for swimming. The restaurant at the hotel is nice and there are others nearby. Several bars in walking distance. The snorkelling beaches are about 5 minutes scooter ride away. The place is fantastic and the sunrise and sunsets with Mt Agung from the beachfront infront of the hotel are amazing 👏. Its my 2nd stay here and there will be a 3rd.

Great hotel and keeps getting better

Great hotel back for the second time. Friendly staff, big room, room service and good restaurant nothing was to much trouble. We ate there many times with one 3.5 year old daughter. They made us plain pasta and chicken fingers and rice many times. Pool is huge just in the sun and there is no shade over the pool so it's hard to stay in there for long. There is a smaller children's pool which was amazing. Regardless of the sun we still swam a few times a day it was just hot and sunny. Maybe a removable shade on even a portion would make a difference. The pool is also very warm but who cares. Our daughter loved it. Staff were super friendly and played with her many times. Breakfast buffet was good. Indonesian noodles, fried eggs, bacon, pancakes, fruit, cereal and toast which is more than enough. Tea/coffee and water and juice also available. Mini mart across the road for any snacks you need a restaurants along beach if you want more local for a good price. Room has fridge and tea and coffee facilities.

A guest let two dogs from the beach in and would feed them breakfast which meant the dogs hung around the restaurant which wasn't enjoyable for us or our daughter. Not the hotels fault there are gates from the beach but it was a bit frustrating. 4 days we had to shoo the dogs away so our daughter wouldn't get upset.

Fridge not working. I chose this place compared to another, which was 1 million cheaper, without a fridge and this place the fridges DO NOT WORK!!! Drinks are colder on the desk in A/C then inside their so called "fridge" They asked how could they fix the issue, I said buy me a 4kg bag of ice for 10k idr and they refused, saying if "i" go to the bar, they'd give me 100g Dirty bedding Hard bed Deflated pillow (one per person) Old shrunken grey white towels Noisy A/C Cats running inside the ceiling at night Breakfast cold, limited, coffee bity and cold Sunbeds hard, no cushions, limited umbrellas Dive school banging oxygen tanks around at 5am Septic smell in bathroom Most expensive on the beach and probably thee worst Don't waste your money

Nice hotel with massive room

We booked the sea view room, it was way bigger than we imagined. 4 of us (2 adults, a 5 yo and 1 yo) fit on one bed comfortably. Plenty of storage, great TV. We came during rainy period and the weather was terrible, but being in this hotel definitely made us feel relaxed. The breakfast was lovely too. Plenty of car parking space (which is very important for us). Convenience store right at the front of the hotel. Lots of amenities around such as spas, restaurants etc.

The location is great but you can’t really snorkel right in front of the property. You’ll basically need to go further south to be able to see the beautiful coral. Another thing is, the hotel is so big I feel like it’s missing the ‘Amed’ charm. The latter is just my personal opinion, nothing to do with the hotel.

Good and really enjoyed the staff but the request for diving being ignored was disappointing.

Staff were fantastic, food was great, room was good with a great view, pool was awesome.

I specifically advised, well before our arrival, that I was there to dive, and I wanted to dive every day. I am a certified rescue diver. First day I asked about the dive center and was expecting they would have everything ready early for my diving. Dive center didn't open until 8am. Very late for a dive center. When I went back after 8am was told by the staff, who spoke very little English, the owner had gone to Denpasar for the day. So, I missed out on an entire day of diving. Hence on the first day, when I had missed all of the other dive centers, as most leave by 8am for the day of diving, I went to another dive center just down the road and organized all my diving for the rest of the trip.

Have stayed here before so was happy to return.

Breakfast was good on first day when ordered from menu. The next 3 days when they had more guests they put out a pretty poor buffet. The staff on breakfast were nice enough to cook us what we wanted from the menu. but only because we asked. Thankyou to breakfast staff, but management need to better on breakfast. Also the fridge in room is useless. It will get things slightly cool only. No good for beer or drinks. Management know about this but do nothing about it. Stayed here last year and was the same then.

Excellent

I had a Deluxe Double Room with Sea View - it was a huge room with heaps of cupboards to unpack fully with wonderful views of the gardens and overlooking the ocean right from my bed. The views during the day from the pool of Mt Agung and the sunsets from the beach were just stunning. The location of the Seamount Hotel was perfect with many Warungs on the beach front next door or out in the street. Opposite the entrance is an Indomart with auto teller machine inside. Laundry services, scooter hire, drivers, massage shops all located in the street within walking distance. Staff at hotel were just lovely and very accommodating.

The bed was one of the hardest I've ever had in all my travels to Bali. I did ask for mattress topper but they brought me another dooner and placed that over the mattress which didn't make much difference. I folded the dooner and another rug in the room to place on the bed to try and make more comfortable. The fridge was not a fridge but one of those cool boxes however there was nothing cool about it. They swapped it out for another but this was exactly the same and other guests said the same thing. I ended up getting ice twice a day from the restaurant in a container and keeping my fresh milk and cold drinks in that. It was actually cooler to keep it on the bench in the AC room rather than in the cool box which was hotter. Breakfasts if they were the buffet were very average however one one day they did have the a-la-carte menu option available and that was much nicer choice to have fresh cooked eggs.

Perfect, peaceful, enjoyable.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at seamount, close to great restaurants and snorkelling, the amenities were good, aircon nice and cold, restaurant was good enough and relatively quiet. View of mt Agung was amazing.

Be mindful that there is a temple and cemetery next door so it can be quite loud and some smoke pollution when there is a ngaben ceremony.

overall was a nice stay. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. Room are clean and spacious with great view of Mount Agung and the sea. Great eateries around it as well

What’s not so great - serve the same breakfast every morning, no variation of menu. Towels are grey from years of use. Bed linen was dirty when I first got in, feels like sand on it, there white dust when rubbed. I asked for it to be changed, they changed it but it still feels like sandpaper on my skin although not dirty. Think it’s just old. You can obviously see the discolouration of the linen. Mold on the ceiling.

Location, pool, staff were lovely

Very disappointing that we had room right in Carpark area (room 205). We were staying 4 nights and asked to move as when we sat outside room we were looking at Carpark. Said no rooms available but we saw vacant rooms. There was no hot water in the mornings but hot in night. They tried to fix but only made water in night Luke warm, still cold in mornings. I was sick so this wasn’t very good for me.

water in the pool was hot and could not really refresh yourself. They did not clean our room in 3 nights, even when asked. Needes to ask for clean towels and toilet paper.

my husband and I took a family room in order to get the best view of Agung volcano and it was really amazing.

the view is amazing, room is clean, huge pool and friendly staff.

the only two things could be improved: the wifi connection (we didn’t find the wifi in our room, but it wasn’t a big deal for us) and the cleanliness of pillows and towels.

Luxury with volcano views

Great location with nice views of the volcano. Really convenient with several beach restaurants right next door and a convenience store right opposite. Nice pool with lots of sunbeds. The room itself (sea view) is huge, clean and quite luxurious. The wifi is nice and fast and the bed is fantastically comfy. The staff are very polite and even let us have breakfast an hour before they started serving it as we had to leave super early to catch a boat. The sunrise from the front of the hotel is lovely and worth waking up early for even if go out there in your jammies and then go back to sleep.

Quite pricey for Indonesia.
